Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Plot begins

Anna, was feeling uncomfortable from his advance and looked at Demetri hoping he would help her, she said, "No thank you."

Jonathan continued flirting and teasing Anna, disregarding her answer, "Come on, I think you are just being hard to get."

Demetri could see Anna getting more and more uncomfortable as he didn't appreciate the guy flirting with her.

"Jonathan, you can clearly see that she is uncomfortable with it. So shouldn't you stop your advances before she fully hates you." Demetri says stepping in front of them.

Jonathan looked up while being taller than both of them as he looked at Demetri and said, "Who do you think you are? I am just having a talk with her."

Demetri, annoyed and not liking the guy's attitude, retorted and said, "She doesn't look like she is enjoying your company though, so leave her alone."

"What are you? Her boyfriend? Or something." Jonathan asks mockingly.

"No her brother." Demetri says

Jonathan scoffed and mockingly said, "Yeah right, what proof you have huh?"

Demetri, not amused by the attitude, simply said, "I don't need proof to prove anything to a random dude whose flirting with a girl who looks uncomfortable."

Jonathan, now getting a little heated up, asked, "Are you trying to be her savoir by jumping in like this?"

Demetri sighed "We are leaving Jonathan." Demetri says and leaves with Anna.

Before they could leave, Jonathan, still annoyed, said, "Hey I was speaking to her." And raised his tone as he had somewhat of a ego.

Demetri, losing his patience, turned around and said, "She clearly said NO, it's your problem that you can't take a hint and still bother her." He said coldly as he glared at him.

As they walked, Anna stayed quiet and felt thankful that Demetri was there, to protect her and stop the guy from bothering her.

Demetri, still angry and annoyed looked at her and asked, "Are you okay, did something happen back there? You look pale."

Demetri dropped her off at her dorm, the weight of the evening still lingering in the air. As he drove home, he felt a surge of anticipation. He had meticulously prepared for this moment, gathering makeup to help him craft the character he needed to portray.

In the privacy of his room, he began his transformation. He carefully applied foundation to create a flawless complexion, then brushed on shimmering eyeshadow that captured the light. Each stroke of the brush brought his character to life, embodying a blend of vulnerability and beauty. A touch of mascara accentuated his eyes, and soft pink lipstick completed the look.

As he stood before the mirror, he felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. The reflection staring back was not just him but the character he was determined to portray. He practiced soft smiles and gentle expressions, ready to inhabit someone entirely different from himself.

Finally, he slipped into a flowing dress that swirled around him, feeling the fabric's weight and grace. With a deep breath, he stepped out of his room, ready to bring his character to life. The night awaited, and he was ready to embrace the story unfolding before him.

The MC Marcus arrived on the bridge as he was just coming back from the party. He was tipsy, as he could feel the alcohol influence slowly leaving his body.

As he saw someone crying, he walked closer to look at the girl who was pretty and beautiful. He asked, "Are you okay? Why are crying here?"

As he spoke, his gaze was on her long hair. He noticed that her face was pretty and her features were delicate.

"You shouldn't cry here alone, come let's sit. I can talk with you." Marcus said.

"It's ju.. just that... uwahh the young lord of the Smith family Jonathan Smith has been bullying my friend Anna Liebert and pestering her to go out with her." Demetri says in his feminine voice which was enticing and sexy sounding as the crying added to his beauty with the moon light shining on them.

Marcus stared at the girl while hearing her speak. He was entranced by her allure. With the way her makeup glistened under the moonlight and her hair flowing in the breeze, it was like a piece of art in his eyes.

As he listened to her words, his brows furrowed while hearing that the girl's friend was being harassed. He felt angry and asked in a stern voice, "Did that bastard bully her?"

"Yes he has been pestering her to go out with him even though she doesn't like him. But it's fine I... I'll find a way to protect her. You don't have to worry since we are just peasants infront of the rich." Demetri said acting vulnerable with a forced smile with a tear. Marcus couldn't bear it.

Marcus, seeing the girl's vulnerable smile with tears in her eyes, felt even more annoyed now. His fists clenched tightly.

He said, "He should know his place. Just cause he's rich doesn't give him the right to do what he thinks is right. Who does he think he is?"

The girl in front of him was vulnerable looking, with long hair that was mesmerizing and with a pretty face. He felt drawn and wanted to protect her, even though he's just hearing this story from a stranger.

"Thank you for listening to me. My name is Sarah Atwood sorry for the late introduction." Demetri said extending his hand. As Marcus decided to him out revealing that he is the young master (heir) of the Desmond house one of the most richest families.

Marcus, feeling like he had a obligation to her, took her hand and gently helped her get up. As she introduced herself and he felt her delicate touch on his palm.

As she introduced herself, he introduced himself back, "I'm Marcus Desmond. Also, don't say sorry. I am always happy when someone wants to talk." He said with a smile. As his palm gently slipped away from hers, Marcus felt a little empty, the warmth of her hands still lingering in his palm.

"Oh. My that last name. Desmond is it that. Marcus is from that prestigious 'Desmond' family?" Demetri asked acting supperised his eyes opened wide and holding his hand.

Marcus nodded and said, "Yeah, I'm a part of the Desmond family." As he saw her innocent expression and how she held his hand. He could feel a softness and delicacy that he wasn't used to feeling with other girls whom he was surrounded with.

"I know this is a rude request and that we just met but could you help my friend out Marcus?" Demetri asked him innocently. He knew that Marcus would never resist a beautiful woman's request.

Marcus, who had just found out more about her friend's situation, felt a sense of anger and frustration build within him. He was appalled that she was treated this way by a guy who had no respect for women as they were seen as property.

He nodded and said, "I'll help you, I promise you I won't let that guy who is your friend gets harassed. No one should be treated that way, and this guy is crossing his line." He said, his jaw tightening with a hint of defiance and determination in his voice.

"Thank you so much Marcus. Wait. I need to address you as young master Marcus from now on don't I?" Demetri said acting sad.

Marcus, hearing her address him as the young master, waved his hand and smiled saying, "There's no need to be formal, you can address me normally." As his hand touched hers in a soft and comforting way, he felt a desire to protect her growing even more.

He knew his duty was to protect beautiful women and their feelings, as he grew up understanding their fragility and soft nature. She was like no one he had met before, she seemed too pure and innocent.

"You really are too kind young mas- Maracus." Demetri says with a smile and hugs him leaving his fragrance and scent on his suit.

As Marcus felt her soft body against his, his heartbeat quickened and his body tensed a bit. Her scent was lingering in his suit and he found it pleasant. He slowly hugged her back, feeling her warmth and softness against him.

He was so entranced that he didn't want to let go of the hug, she felt so delicate and soft.

"I just realised my mistake there. If Marcus has a girlfriend then she'll get suspicious of you. I am sorry for that." Demetri said acting worried and apologising.

Marcus shook his head and responded, "Don't worry, I don't have a girlfriend." As he wanted to assure her.

And he continued, "I was just thinking how delicate you feel, you're even smaller in my arms." He felt her soft chest against his body and it felt like they fitted against each other like a puzzle.

Demetri's eyes flicked up to Marcus's, and raised an eyebrow. A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. "A pervert now, are we?"

Marcus felt a warm blush creep into his cheeks and a warmth spread over them, realizing how his comment might have sounded. "No, no, it's not like that, I just... " Marcus stumbled on his words trying to find some explanation. He felt like the young girl was reading his thoughts so his nervousness grew.

He knew she was close and he was feeling something with her that he couldn't explain, and her fragrance was enticing him to keep her in his arms.

"Sure sounds like it," he interrupted, slipping out of his grasp with a graceful twist. "You're unlucky I'm the type to not be pleased quite easily." Demetri crossed his arms, the smirk still in place as he tilted his head, watching Marcus fumble for words.

He opened his mouth to protest, but the way he stood there, completely in control of the situation, left him flustered.

Marcus was left slightly speechless and flustered, he could feel a strange mix of feelings. he felt the loss of her as she slipped out of his grasp, he wanted to pull her back to his arms.

He had never felt so taken aback by a girl, she wasn't even being seductive, she was a simple-looking pretty girl and here he was, feeling flustered by her.

The way she tilted her head and watched as his mind went empty as if she had some kind of magnetic aura that was so strong just with her presence.
