Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Problem Solved

Demetri smirked, considering how he could take advantage of Marcus's obvious lack of self-control. "Tell you what," he said, his tone playful but firm.

"I might forgive you, but only if you help me with something. Remember Anna Liebert? The one being harassed by Jonathan? You'll step in and handle that for me. Oh, and you're taking me shopping. Deal?"

Marcus, still flustered by her appearance and attitude, nodded without a second thought. Her smile and demand felt like he was under a spell.

As he felt a magnetic aura around her, he nodded and replied, "Deal."

He felt like a fool, how she was able to get his agreement so easily. He cursed himself.

"Oh... but what if I wanted an apartment instead?" Demetri asked, acting anxious as he placed his hand on his cheek. It was the perfect opportunity to tease Marcus, and he wasn't going to miss it.

"I'll buy you one!" he said a little too enthusiastically, his mind was too preoccupied by the magnetic aura than logic or reason.

He could almost see that she was now playing around and knew she was teasing him, but his mind didn't give him the chance to say "no" to her.

"Wait... I was just joking! I'd never ask anyone for something like that." Demetri feigned anger, a playful pout forming on his lips. "Seriously, don't ever do that unless they're your significant other."

Marcus felt relieved to hear her say that, his mind was already thinking of the apartment he would buy for her. Seeing her adorable pout, Marcus was struggling to control his desire to reach out and gently pull her back to his arms and hold her petite frame. But he tried to maintain himself.

He sighed and said, "I thought you were serious. I'd have gotten you anything you asked for. You're really too beautiful to deny anything to."

Demetri sighed, letting out a soft breath. "Honestly, I've been so worried. I don't have the money to support myself properly, no part-time job, nothing. I'm just living off the 600 euros my parents send me each month," he said, his voice carrying a hint of vulnerability.

"Call me materialistic, but a girl needs a bit more to live comfortably, you know? Do you hate me now?" He faked some tears, hoping to sell the act of sadness and draw Marcus in, knowing he was slowly pulling him into his grasp, ready to take control.

Marcus watched her fake tears, and his soft nature and protective instincts kicked in, causing his heart to feel pain and a strong desire to provide and protect. He stepped towards her, and in a soft voice said, "Hate you? No, never. I want to help you." As he said this, he slowly reached his hand towards her as if to wipe her tears.

He was falling into the trap, being pulled in by the delicate and innocent image she portrays with those fake tears.

"Thank you for understanding. Well it's getting late let's exchange numbers before we forget." Demetri said taking out his pink iPhone 7 and exchanged contact details and added each other on Blinztagram.

"Your name is the same on Blinzta, Sarah?" Marcus mused to himself.

"Yes it's easier for my friends to add me then. Although you can see that I am very inactive." Demetri chuckled.

Marcus nodded in understanding and pulled his phone, opened the Blinztagram app, and exchanged contact information with her. He noticed her infrequent usage and smiled, assuming she probably lacked many friends, but if so why is she this way, so different and magnetic to him. He didn't know.

He felt a flutter of excitement as he saw her profile picture, a simple selfie, and said, "Well now, we are connected." He added with a small smile.

As they walked to Marcus's which was close by it was a 982.2 Porsche Cayman S. "Wow the car is so good with it being in white no less." Demetri impressed.

Marcus felt his heart flutter at her genuine compliment and was amazed she had good taste in cars as she acknowledged his 982.2 Porsche Caymon S, he said, "I'm glad you like it."

He felt proud that she appreciated his car as most girls he knew didn't care about cars that much, she was so unique, he felt his heart beat faster as these thoughts crossed his mind.

"One day, I'm sure this young master will have his own 911 GTS," Demetri teased, flashing a playful smile. He waited by the door, expecting Marcus to open it, but true to form, Marcus remained seated in his car, oblivious.

Marcus looked a little proud and laughed and said, "I'll have many more in my collection soon."

Seeing Marcus didn't open the door for her, he was too deep in his thoughts, to realise he should open the door for her, so she was slightly annoyed and said, "Won't you open the door for a lady?"

Marcus snapped out of it hearing the annoyance in her tone, and realizing his mistake, blushing a little he quickly hurried and got off and opened the door and extended his hand to help her up.

"That's it! To earn your forgiveness, I'm buying whatever I want, no limits," Demetri declared confidently, still pouting as Marcus continued to drive. "Let's see if I can make this young master go broke."

Marcus couldn't help but smile. Her pout and playful challenge stirred something in him, making his heart flutter. "Fine," he laughed, feeling a sudden spark of competition. "I'll prove you can't break me."

Though he was wealthy—his bank account comfortably sitting in the ten digits—he wasn't worried. For some reason, he wanted to impress her, maybe because of that innocent yet teasing charm she had.

Demetri told him to drop off at Anxe Street that's where his private dorm is. "Bye bye. Don't miss me too much now." Demetri waved to him and went into the apartment complex and entered his room.

Marcus watched her enter into the apartment complex and drove off. He was thinking about her on the whole way home. Her innocent and playful nature left him flustered and now he couldn't get her out of his mind. His mind kept playing her expressions of feigned anger and the slight pout, it caused his heart to race like crazy.

He reached home trying to think of how to impress her. He wanted to shower her with more gifts and attention, but his logical side said, "Stop being a fool and snap out of it."

Just then, a notification buzzed on his phone. It was a message from Sarah (Demetri) on WhatsApp: "Hope you like this treat," followed by a kiss emoji. Attached was a picture of Demetri, fresh out of the shower, his damp brunette hair hanging just below his shoulders, water droplets glistening on his slender, fit body. He had a B cup that was barely covered by a single towel.

Marcus's mind instantly blanked. His attention zeroed in on the image, his thoughts derailing as his monkey brain took over, forgetting everything else.

The next day, Demetri dressed casually for university. He wore a soft, oversized pastel sweater that draped over one shoulder, revealing a hint of his collarbone. The lightweight, fuzzy fabric added a cozy touch. Paired with fitted, high-waisted trousers that accentuated his lean waist, his look was balanced with simple white canvas sneakers for a playful vibe. A delicate silver chain rested lightly against his chest, completing the outfit.

As he got on the bus, it stopped at the girls' dorm, where Anna boarded and sat beside him.

"Morning, Demetri! Sleep well?" Anna greeted him, cheerful despite a hint of tiredness.

"I should be asking you that," Demetri replied, his tone soft with concern. "But let's not dwell on yesterday. I don't want you to think about what happened with that guy. We'll just forget it."

Anna gave a small yawn. "I'm fine, just a little tired," she said.

Though she tried to shake it off, the frustration and anger from the previous night still lingered. The guy's advances had bothered her more than she wanted to admit, but causing more drama wouldn't help.

She sighed, deciding it was best to move on. "Yeah, let's just forget it all," she agreed, relieved Demetri wouldn't bring it up again.

"Yeah~," Demetri sighed as they got off at the business campus. While walking toward the lecture hall, Jonathan suddenly approached them.

"I'm really sorry about yesterday," Jonathan said to Anna, his tone carefully measured. "I know my actions may have affected you mentally, and I don't expect your forgiveness. But as a token of apology, I'd like to give you this." He handed Anna a check for a hundred thousand euros.

Anna stared at the check, surprised by the amount. It was far more than generous. She understood that Jonathan was likely trying to make amends for his past behavior, but she hesitated. Money meant little to him, and his apology felt hollow—his tone too smooth, his expression insincere.

Her mind wandered briefly to all the things that could be done with such a sum, but the discomfort lingered. Reluctantly, she took the check, still feeling uncertain about his motives.

Demetri, on the other hand, felt a wave of satisfaction. Marcus had acted fast on his promise—just like a good boy should.

"Anna, you might as well let this go and tell him to never bother you again. Keep the money," Demetri whispered in her ear.

Anna nodded, still conflicted about accepting the money. She didn't need it, but she realized it might be best to just let the matter rest. She knew Jonathan wasn't offering the check out of genuine remorse—he just wanted to make the problem disappear.

Looking at Jonathan, she said firmly, "Thank you for the money. I hope you never bother me like that again." She gripped the check tightly, aware it could be useful in some way.

As they walked into the building toward their classroom, Anna felt a sense of relief. Jonathan was no longer an issue.

"Looks like he really tried to buy your forgiveness," Demetri teased with a laugh, nudging her. Anna smiled, playfully pushing his arm in response.

"Well in any case its a good thing now you have enough to pay the full tuitions and have some left over to spend on yourself or save it." Demetri said with a smile happy for her.

As they entered the classroom and found their seats, Anna smiled, glad that the money will help pay most of the tuition fees, as it's been something that was lingering in her mind.

"Yeah that's true, now my mind is at ease knowing I can pay the tuition with ease." she said relieved as the weight was lifted off her mind and she could have a good college life without having the finances as a constant concern, she looked at Demetri and said, "Thanks for always being there when I need you."
