Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Alex's House

"We're finally near your house, Alex," Sarah said cheerfully, her tone light and playful.

Alex nodded, a mix of anticipation and nervousness coursing through him. "Yeah, almost there," he replied, his voice carrying a subtle undertone of excitement. As they pulled up to his house, a wave of realization hit him. He had allowed Sarah, someone he'd only met recently, to tease him, touch him, and now he was inviting her into his home. This was uncharted territory for him, and he couldn't quite decide whether to feel anxious or exhilarated.

As the car came to a stop, Sarah leaned back in her seat, glancing over at him with her trademark mischievous grin. "So, are we going straight inside? Or do you need a moment to, you know, *take care of yourself* first?" she teased, her tone dripping with playful insinuation.

Alex nearly choked on his breath, his face flushing a deep red as her words sank in. "W-what?!" he stammered, his voice cracking slightly. "No! I don't... I mean, I don't need to do that!" he protested, clearing his throat awkwardly as he tried to maintain some semblance of composure.

Sarah burst into laughter, thoroughly amused by his reaction. "Relax, Alex. I'm just teasing you!" she said, her tone softening as she patted his arm. "But seriously, I'm curious to see the house. Think you can give me the grand tour?"

Alex exhaled a slow breath, trying to calm the rapid thudding of his heart. "You really have a knack for catching me off guard," he muttered, though a faint smile tugged at his lips.

With a small shake of his head, Alex got out of the car and walked around to Sarah's side. Ever the gentleman, he opened the door for her, offering her a hand to step out. "Well, here we are," he said, gesturing toward the house as they approached. "Welcome to my not-so-humble abode."

Sarah stepped out, taking in the sight of Alex's home—a sleek, modern design with large windows and a pristine exterior that exuded understated luxury. "Not bad, Alex. Not bad at all," she said, nodding approvingly. "Looks like Mr. Perfect and Preppy knows how to live."

Alex chuckled, shaking his head as he unlocked the front door. "Come on in. Let's see if my house lives up to your expectations."

He held the door open for her, the faintest hint of a smirk playing on his lips as Sarah stepped inside.

Hope you enjoyed reading. I know it has grammatical errors and such. But I am not continuing this novel. I may write another since right now I have to lock in for uni.
