Miles pov
"Did you hear that". I said.
"Hear what" he replied as he gave me the crazy look.
"Don't worry about it." I tried to concentrate but I kept hearing the voices.
The voice got so distracting that I couldn't concentrate I got up from my seat and headed straight to the bathroom.
I turned on the tap on the sink, splashing the water over me with hopes it could cool me down.
"Rough day." I heard a voice.
I slipped but held onto the sink to avoid falling.
"Alexis this is the boy's bathroom"I nearly screamed.
She was leaning on the other side of the bathroom with a cigarette in her hands She took a big draw and puffed a smoke.
"So.." she replied nonchalantly.
I boldly walked up to her yanked the cigarette off her hand and pressed it against my feet to put out the flame.
"You're under age and smokers are liable to die young."
"Good to see you've started developing courage, I was starting to wonder if you had them." She scoffed.
"Are we still talking about the cigarette?"
"Why didn't you do anything" she said and I gave her a confused look.
"On my way home I kind of saw what Romeo was doing to you."
"There's nothing I could do besides why do you care."
I heard footsteps and instantly recognized it was Theo's, he was probably looking for me given the fact I ran off earlier.
If Theo saw me talking with Alexis he was going to tease me all the way home so I panicked.
I grabbed her hand and pulled her inside one of the bathrooms and closed the door.
"What are you doing.." I quickly placed a hand over her mouth.
"Shh."
The door to the main entrance opened and Theo walked in.
"Miles.. Miles are you here." He paced around a little.
"Mrs Smith is going to kill me" He murmured before going out.
I breathed a sigh of relief then I realized the situation I was in.
Alexis and I were standing so close with my hands over her mouth. I could feel her lips on my palm.
I swallowed hard this was the first time I was this close female who wasn't my mom.
"thump-thump" I could hear her heart beating fast. I slowly removed my hands from her lips.
I was staring at her like I was in a trance. I could hear the beating of her heart, the blood rushing through her veins and suddenly I felt hungry.
My head started spinning again, I was consumed by this overwhelming headache
"Ugh ahh" I held onto my head my glasses fell to the ground as I moved backward, my back hitting the sides of the wall.
Alexis rushed over with concern written over her face.
"Hey, are you okay?"
The more she was close the more it got worse and the urge to shred her into pieces increased.
"Don't come any closer."I put up my hand gesturing for her to stay back.
"Miles what is going on."
I was sweating seriously, my head was pounding and I was shaking I looked up at Alexis and I kept seeing images of her body looking lifeless as if she had been torn apart by an animal and blood everywhere.
I continuously blinked my eyes to remove the scene from my mind.
" Do it I know you want to." I heard a voice from within.
"no no no " I kept shaking my head as the images kept flashing in my mind.
"Miles you're scaring me."
She stretched her hands attempting to touch me but I seized her by her neck and threw her, her body crashed against a sink and it shattered into pieces causing water to start pouring.
I could see blood gushing the side of her head as she crawled to the door in an attempt to flee for her life.
I walked towards her and I caught a view of my face my eyes were red and filled with blood lust.
I grabbed her boots dragging her to myself she took something from her jacket and flung it at my face.
The substance was like a powder and the moment I inhaled it I got weak.
I let go of her leg as I struggled to keep my balance. It was as if the substance ran through my veins and it was choking I held my throat and I coughed a mouth full of blood.
As Alexis got up, a fierce in her eyes, she swiftly unclasped her belt. To my surprise, the belt transformed into a formidable whip, its long length shimmering in the light.
With a flick of her wrist, she expertly flung the whip onto the ground, creating a sharp cracking sound that echoed through the room.
The sound of the whip hitting the floor "CRACK!" sent a shiver down my spine.
"I've finally confirmed my theory" She smirked and continued.
"I wondered why a werewolf would be so weak but it turns out you're the real deal."
I could feel my lungs boiling from the inside.
"Werewolf what are you talking about."
"You really have no idea. I'm going to enjoy this " She licked her lips wickedly taking a fighting stance as if preparing for battle.
She twirled the whip above her head, creating a whirling motion, and then brought it down with a forceful snap. The whip connected with my shoulders leaving a deep gash.
I knew there was no possible way I could win this fight My vision was starting to get blurry.
I let out a weak growl and made a run for it through the back door that led to the woods.
I just kept running because whoever Alexis was she wanted to kill me. I didn't stop to look back to know if I was being followed I was desperate to save myself.
I accidentally cashed on a branch then floor stumbling down the slope. I got my balance and crawled to a tree leaving a trance of blood as I did.
I used my hand to apply pressure on my wound I was breathing heavily.
"I am a monster," I said in disbelief as I remembered everything that happened earlier.
" That wasn't me I'm not a monster."
I felt something run down my eyes, I wiped it off stared into my hand, and realized it was black blood.
I gagged and could I see the black blood on my palm.
" I'm not a monster." I kept saying repeatedly rocking back and forth.
" There is no need to deny the obvious."
