Moore took the keys from Rebecca and got into the beautiful, luxurious Mercedes-Benz super x car. Moore's expression became one of total disbelief and amazement as he got into the car. The car was even more beautiful and comfortable on the inside, he thought. While he was still daydreaming, Rebecca got into the car and activated the engine with her voice. Moore was mesmerized by this action. He thought to himself, "I wonder how fast this car can go." Rebecca interrupted his thoughts by saying, "The GPS in the car has my home location." Moore was still holding onto the steering wheel as if his life depended on it. Rebecca spoke again, "Lady, take me home." Moore remarked, "You named your car Lady?" Rebecca smiled before answering, "Yes, I did."
The GPS in the car pointed in the direction they were driving. As Moore drove along the smooth road, he chatted with Rebecca for a while. It seemed like there was chemistry between them. Moore cheekily said to Rebecca, "You have beautiful blue eyes." Caught off guard, Rebecca could only blush and feel slightly embarrassed. Moore tried to focus on the road while driving. Rebecca spoke with a calm demeanor, "I bet you say that to all ladies." Moore chuckled before swallowing his saliva. Feeling awkward, he replied, "No, just to you because they are beautiful."Rebecca smiled awkwardly but kept silent. Slowly, he drove into a beautiful and secure estate. After passing through the security post, he noticed that all the apartments looked the same. The GPS in the car announced that they had reached their destination. As they pulled into the parking lot, a man was standing in front of the house. Rebecca's body tensed. Moore sensed some tension between them before he could even say a word. Rebecca explained, "He is my ex and shouldn't be here." Moore asked with concern, "Was he threatening you in any way?" Rebecca smiled and replied, "No, he is just having a hard time letting go after I caught him cheating on me." A mischievous smile crossed her face before she turned to Moore and said, "Please pretend to be my boyfriend." Moore agreed, nodding his head. They both got out of the car, with Moore taking the lead. Rebecca addressed the man, "Tom, what are you doing here?" Tom looked a bit bewildered and quickly replied, "I came here because you refused to answer my calls and I couldn't reach you any other way. And who is he?" he pointed at Moore. "None of your business," Rebecca answered. Tom felt frustrated by Rebecca's actions and turned to Moore, saying, "Hello, I'm Tom and she's my girlfriend. And if you know what's good for you, leave now." Before Moore could respond, Rebecca intervened, "If you don't leave now, I will call the police." Tom's expression became stern as he said to Moore, "Are you going to let a woman fight on your behalf?" Moore smiled and calmly replied, "You'll do it for me." Tom's face became furious and he took a step forward. Rebecca quickly stepped in between them, sensing trouble was about to break out. She said firmly, "What I do with my life or who I date from now on is none of your business.""If you don't leave, I am going to call the cops," said Tom firmly. Despite Rebecca's words, Tom seemed unbothered and his attention was on Moore. He sighed in frustration before attempting to hit Moore. Reacting quickly, Moore dodged Tom's fist but accidentally struck Rebecca in the face. She screamed in pain and held her face. Tom realized his mistake and immediately ran from the scene. Moore rushed to Rebecca's side and reassured her, "Don't worry, he's gone. Let's take care of your face now." He led her into her house and asked for ice, to which she pointed to the kitchen.
In no time, Moore returned with a cloth and ice wrapped in it. He explained that it would reduce the swelling and gently placed it on her face. Rebecca groaned in pain but eventually relaxed. As she tried to speak, Moore whispered, "Just relax and let me take care of it." She felt at ease with him and her mind drifted away from the pain. Moore's words brought her back to reality and he asked, "Where is your medicine cabinet?" Rebecca felt awkward but pointed to her bedroom and said, "Top shelf on the left." Moore came back with a glass of water and two painkiller tablets. He calmly instructed Rebecca to take them. She blushed and thought about how good it felt to be around Moore. She thanked him quietly and he replied, "No problem." He gestured that it was late and he needed to leave. Rebecca felt a chill immediately as those words came out of Moore's mouth. She replied, "Since it's late, you don't have to go, and I don't want to be alone right now. Who knows if Tom will come back? Besides, you didn't bring your car with you." Moore was lost in thought. The idea of spending the night at Rebecca's house had never crossed his mind. Now, he hesitated to accept her offer. He spoke in a soft voice, "I don't want to inconvenience you. Maybe I should just leave now." Rebecca felt weird for a second before calmly responding, "No, I insist you stay the night. Besides, I have a spare room, so it won't be a bother to me." Moore finally agreed.
Upon awakening the following day, Rebecca was startled by an unfamiliar noise permeating her quiet abode. With a sense of composure and curiosity, she ventured towards the source of the disturbance, which led her to the heart of her home - the kitchen. The faint, mysterious sound seemed to grow louder as she neared the origin, adding a sense of urgency to her exploration. The early morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the familiar surroundings that now seemed tinged with an air of intrigue. Each step she took echoed in the silence, creating a rhythm with the enigmatic noise that guided her further.
