It had been a few days, and Moore and Rebecca decided to take a break. They decided it would be better to visit the park in town. Moore wanted to stroll around the park while Rebecca wanted to relax and just breathe in the fresh air. Just as they were about to settle down, they heard a call for help.
Moore thought to himself, "It's Saturday, who could be foolish enough to be robbing someone in broad daylight?" He immediately dashed towards the sound and saw a man trying to grab a woman's personal belongings. The woman was with a small child, about seven or nine years old. While the woman was struggling with the man, the child was crying for help.
Moore felt a mixture of curiosity and anger as he rushed forward and grabbed the man, shoving him to the side. He then extended his hand to help the woman. The man, regaining his composure, rushed towards Moore with his fist raised. Reacting quickly, Moore dodged the man's strike and countered with one of his own. The man fell to the ground and was dazed for a moment before standing up and backing away.
Realizing he couldn't defeat Moore, the man stared at him for a moment before saying, "You've got some nerve to intervene and interrupt what is none of your business. You're going to pay for it." He took out his phone and snapped a picture of Moore, threatening to find him no matter where he goes.
After the man left, Moore turned to the woman and apologized for what she and her child had experienced. "I am sorry you had to go through something like this," he said. The woman replied, "Thank you for your help, but you shouldn't have gotten yourself involved in my affairs. Now I'm afraid you have made an enemy out of the local gang here." Moore was taken aback by her words at first before doing a double take and asking her, "Do you know that man?" She replied, "Yes, he was my ex-boyfriend. And his name is George." Moore now realized the situation and asked, "What is your name?" The woman replied, "Kathryn West." Rebecca, who was watching from afar, came over to ask, "I hope everything is okay?" To which Kathryn answered, "Everything is okay." Rebecca then turned to Moore and said, "We have to go." Moore looked confused but managed to force a smile at Kathryn and said, "I guess I will see you around. Please take care of yourself." With that, he turned to walk away with Rebecca.
Later that day, Moore and Rebecca were in an outdoor café, chatting and enjoying the view of the city, when a group of men suddenly approached them. One man from the group spoke out, "We've been looking for you." Moore seemed unfazed by the situation, only staring at the man who spoke. "It's you again," Moore replied. The man who spoke was none other than George, Kathryn's ex-boyfriend. Moore, who had been in a similar situation before, remained calm and asked, "You've been looking for me? Why?" By now, Rebecca was scared out of her wits but managed to put on a brave face.
George spoke again, "You think getting involved won't have consequences? Well, this is the consequence of getting involved with our gang, the Black Scorpion Society." Moore raised an eyebrow before saying, "The Black Scorpion Society? And what is that?" George couldn't believe his ears. Moore was not taking him or the Black Scorpion Society seriously. Rebecca grew impatient and screamed, "If you don't leave now, I will call the police!" One of the members of the Black Scorpion Society snorted and said, "The police can't help you. And even if they could, it would be too late."Moore did not seem to be bothered as he counted the men and snorted, "Only six? I'm afraid you guys are not enough," he remarked. The gangs felt insulted and immediately brought out their weapons, trying to intimidate Moore and Rebecca. Rebecca sat frozen to the chair as if glued to it, while Moore's face remained expressionless and devoid of any emotion.
Before long, the gangs were smiling at each other, thinking of how they had scared even the bystanders away. Moore took a sip of his wine while staring at the gangs, as if trying to provoke them. George became angry and shouted, "You still don't take us seriously? Maybe you'll take us seriously when we put you in the hospital." With that, he gave the order to attack, screaming at the top of his voice, "Cripple him!" Immediately, the gangs began to charge forward. Moore entered a trance-like state again and within a blink of an eye, he seemed to move faster than any normal person could. He disarmed and took down all the members of the Black Scorpion Society. Some lost teeth, others broke an arm, while some were badly injured. Moore spoke again, this time exuding an air of authority. "I told you guys that you were not enough to defeat me. Now take your men and get the hell out of here." Rebecca and most of the bystanders were left in a state of shock. Rebecca could not believe her eyes.An overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, fear, etc., is produced by that which is grand, sublime, extremely powerful, or the like. She was in awe of Moore now. Her feelings towards Moore skyrocketed immediately. She thought to herself, "He is a real man." Moore, still looking unfazed by the events around him, asked Rebecca, "Do you still want to remain here, or should we head back to the hotel?" Rebecca smiled at him before saying, "I still want to enjoy the outdoors a little." Moore nodded in acknowledgment.
Meanwhile, somewhere in town, the headquarters of the Black Scorpion Society was located. A man was angry after seeing his men beaten up. He could not control his hunger anymore and yelled out, "You mean one man did this to all of you?" He thought for a while after composing himself and warned his men, "You all better stay clear of this guy. He is no ordinary man." Thinking a little about this incident, he thought to himself, "Could it be him?"
