Meanwhile, Katerina was in her office with Madam Gee and Marcy. It seemed that our branch office was under attack from our competitors. Reports indicate that we have suffered heavy losses," Katerina stated. Madam Gee responded, "We need someone there to steady the ship. If we send someone from here, what will happen to the leadership? Who will be in charge?" "Whoever we are sending will take over the leadership there. He or she will run the affairs of the company until we deem it fit," replied Katerina. "So who are we sending to the provincial capital? My best guess would be Moore," stated Madam Gee. "Moore alone wouldn't be enough. He doesn't have enough experience," replied Katerina. "We need someone to assist him. Hmmm, who would that person be?" asked Marcy.
Katerina nodded in acknowledgment before remembering something. Turning to Marcy, she asked, "By the way, what is the update on Moore? Do you have any new information to share?" Marcy replied, "Well, his combat skills are out of this world. He seems to be getting better with each new conflict. But his memory is not improving. He is still stuck in his head. It will take time for him to return to his peak self." Madam Gee added, "His memory will come. We don't need to force it." Katerina looked disturbed, but managed to force a smile on her face before saying, "Let's go see him."
Meanwhile, Moore and Rebecca were in Moore's office when they heard a knock on the door. They both straightened themselves before Moore answered, "You may come in." Both Katerina and Madam Gee strolled in. As always, Katerina exuded confidence and an aura of power, while Madam Gee had an air of mystery about her. Katerina, noticing Rebecca in Moore's office, let out a sigh before addressing Moore, "Get ready. You are going to the provincial capital to oversee our office administration."The company is facing some serious challenges and I need you to handle it," Moore thought about it for a while before saying, "Do you think I am qualified enough to handle it?" Katerina's answer was instantaneous. "Yes, you are. But before he could say anything further, Katerina spoke again. "I was thinking about who would help you for a while, but it seems you have already found the person." Turning to face Rebecca, she said, "You will go with him and oversee the affairs of the company together." Rebecca was dumbfounded and shocked for a while. All she could do was stare into the air. "Before saying that, I never thought I would be going to the provincial capital." Suddenly, there was a smile on her face. Moore could only muster the words, "When do we leave?" Katerina replied instantly, "In two days." Moore felt strange and wondered why the rush. Staring into Katerina's eyes as if trying to communicate with her telepathically, Katerina, sensing Moore's gaze at her, was astonished. She thought to herself, "Is he trying to communicate with me telepathically? Let's see if we can connect." After a while, a pathway was established between them. A smile could be seen on Katerina's face, while Moore seemed ecstatic. Madam Gee sensed the connection between Katerina and Moore before saying to Katerina, "It's time to go. We don't want to take too long, as they both need to sort things out for their journey." Before leaving Moore's office, Katerina turned around to stare at Moore while smiling. Rebecca, sensing something was amiss, could only watch. After Katerina left, Rebecca turned around and faced Moore with a serious expression on her face. "What's with you and Katerina? There is a strange vibe around both of you. If I didn't know better, I would think you guys are a couple or related at most." Moore chuckled as he swallowed the saliva in his mouth, trying to find the right words to say, but all he could say was, "There is nothing between us. I am as surprised as you are."
Two days later, both Rebecca and Moore were on a first-class flight heading to the provincial capital, Eurasia. As the plane landed at the airport, they could both feel the difference in the atmosphere. Everything seemed fast-paced. As they strolled out of the airport, Moore seemed to have noticed something or someone. He stared into a corner of the airport, but he didn't recognize anyone. All he felt was a presence, as if someone was watching him. Rebecca nudged him. "Stop daydreaming, we need to get to the hotel." Moore smiled at her before saying, "I will hail a cab." They both got into the cab, before Rebecca suddenly thought of something and turned to Moore. "Why didn't the company send us a car?" Moore could only nod in confusion before replying, "I don't know. Maybe we should bring it up with the company when we get to the office tomorrow morning." Rebecca nodded in agreement. After about twenty minutes of driving through the busy streets of the provincial capital, the cab arrived at their destination - a beautiful and luxurious hotel called Six Senses Hotel. They both got out of the cab while Moore paid the fare.More's eyes shone brighter as they entered the hotel. He couldn't find the words to describe how he was feeling. "This hotel is beautiful," he thought to himself, not wanting to reveal his eccentric emotions to Rebecca. The receptionist spoke with a charming voice, "Welcome to the Six Senses Hotel. Do you have a reservation?" They both nodded and replied, "No." The receptionist smiled at them and asked, "Would you like to book a room?" They both immediately replied, "Yes." The female receptionist smiled at them again and asked, "Would you prefer a single bed or a double bed?" Awkward tension rose between them as they stared at each other for a while. Finally, Rebecca spoke up, "We would prefer separate rooms with a single bed." The receptionist felt awful for misreading the situation and immediately began to apologize. She assumed they were a couple. Moore felt sympathetic and reassured her not to worry about it. After booking their rooms, they both entered the elevator. It was already dark, so they bid each other good night before entering their separate rooms. While Moore was busy packing, there was a knock on his door.
