~Calm Little Brother & Cold Big Brother~
"Come, I will give you a clue of how to find her" Queen Diantha walked passed him and left with Lansel trailing behind her.
"Leave us' she urged as they walked into the large study.
The study was filled with a lot of ancient and mystical books about the supernatural beings, both the Mortal and the immortal.
"Sit, while I get the book" Queen Diantha stated.
She returned with a large book with an old brown leather cover and dropped it on the table.
"Your fifth grandfather wrote this book thinking it might be helpful for his descendants. Thee are some certain qualities possessed by the goddess; she's a multipowerful supernatural, she's so powerful that she can access all the supernatural powers and also control others' oowers. And also, once you find her and truly love her, the stone on your diadem shines and turn from blue to white" Queen Diantha read out the important points he need to know and Lansel nodded thoughtfully.
"Is she a witch, elf, demon, fairy, or a Mortal supernatural like us?" He asked.
"She could be any of these"
"This is more difficult than I thought" Lansel fingered his hair. Queen Diantha smiled and cupped his cheeks.
"You can do it Lansel"
"No other way to lift the curse?" He asked
"One of you must sacrifice your life, it's not that easy" Queen Diantha smiled a sad smile.
"If we didn't, the curse would be passed down to our children?" He asked again and she nodded.
"But why didn't our fifth grandfather sacrifice his life? He's now dead without lifting the curse, same as all the other four grandfathers, including father, they're all now dead without lifting the curse. I wonder if they love their lives more" Lansel rolled his eyes as he mumbled the last sentence.
Queen Diantha found his expression amusing as she let out a soft chuckle. "I don't know their motives. Like you said, one of them should have sacrificed his life to lift the curse, after all we all die"
"Sad to say, some Kings don't marry for love so, they see no essence in sacrificing their lives for a woman" Lansel stated and Queen Diantha nodded thoughtfully.
"But I will search for mine and see if I can lift the curse. There must be a second option" he quickly added, shrugging his shoulders. Lansel shot a quick glance at the book.
"The goddess can purify a demon-possessed plant, animal or human' that's almost impossible" he looked up at his Mother.
"Oh that! It's possible only for her. I forgot to mention that" Queen Diantha slapped her forehead lightly.
"Right, I will search for her" Lansel said with a sudden finality in his voice.
"Good child"
"Your Serene Highness" Lansel's Shadow guard, Severus and his knight, Marius bowed. Lansel walked passed them and they trailed behind him.
"Where's Dionysios?'
"Young prince, Dionysios is in Eldtrorse, Universe of the Elders" Severus replied.
"What is that calm little brother doing there?" Lansel mumbled a question, loud enough for them to hear.
"I have no idea, Your Grace" Severus replied
"I never asked you" Lansel snapped and Severus bowed in apology.
They appeared in front of Eldtrorse and Dionysios walked out.
"Oh you're here, brother" Dionysios exclaimed, his ocean blue eyes twinkled.
"To the Onyx Sanctum, meet me there" Lansel stated and disappeared.
~~~
"What's so urgent that you need me?" Dionysios smirked, crossing his arms behind his back. His eyes were serene, like the still waters undisturbed by ripples of courtly chaos.
Lansel heaved a deep sigh and narrated what Queen Diantha told him.
"I can help you search for her" Dionysios volunteered.
"Silly calm little brother, no one can search for her except me" Lansel flicked his forehead.
"So you will start your goddess hunt tomorrow, Cold Big Brother?" Dionysios smirked.
"Do not call me that!" Lansel snapped coldly.
"Oh it's the truth, you just acted Cold, towards your calm little brother" Dionysios faked a pained expression, earning a glare form Lansel.
"I have things to do, can't start searching tomorrow" Lansel stated.
"Leave everything to me, I hope your search goes well. Besides I want to see what my brother's wife looks like" Dionysios patted his shoulders, a thin mischievous smile danced across his lips.
"What a Calm little brother I've got!" Lansel smirked, his sea green eyes dazzled in the sun and they hugged.
[Your Grace, princess Alessia of Revildia, the fairy Realm is here to see you] Severus spoke telepathically in Lansel's mind which made him sigh tiredly.
"What cheer?" Dionysios asked as they disentangled.
"That nuisance fairy is here" Lansel clenched his jaw in annoyance.
"Oh Alessia, I won't be surprised if she's the godde..." He didn't get to complete his sentence as Lansel shot him a frosty glare which sent chills down his spine.
