Chapter 4 - Chapter Four

~Solitude~

"Mother" princess Neriah called as she gracefully walked into her mother's chamber.

"Come here, child. Alessia is here" Queen Diantha

"Yes mother, I came to keep her company since brother Lansel is BUSY" Neriah beamed emphatically, sitting beside Alessia.

Alessia's face dropped but she fauxed a smile. "I will stay for three days"

"Oh that's sweet, Brother Lansel will be leaving for the Dream Nation tomorrow, he has something to take care of" Neriah stated, with a sweet sarcastic smile.

"I will go with him then" Alessia insisted.

"Guest are not allowed there. He is staying there for two weeks" Neriah was quick to reply. Queen Diantha almost laughed out at Alessia's priceless expression. Neriah is really torturing her.

"You are being persistent, did you perhaps like prince Lansel?" Neriah asked, smiling mischievously. Alessia's face went pale as she kept mute. It's like she completely lost her tongue.

"I heard Prince Lansel is in love and his Queen will soon come before he will be crowned as the Moon Supreme, right mother?" Neriah asked, turning to her mother, blinking rapidly and innocently. Queen Diantha nodded, muttering a 'yes'.

Someone could swear Fairy Alessia would explode in anger as grabbed her dress tightly until her knuckles turned white, her action didn't go unnoticed by the Queen and the Princess. Alessia sprang her feet up.

"Uhmm... I need to take some rest, I am exhausted from the journey" she shot them an obvious fake smile.

Queen Diantha summoned two maids telepathically and they appeared.

"Escort Fairy Alessia to the guest house" she urged.

"Yes, Your Grace" the maids bowed.

"Thank you for your hospitality, Your Grace. Fairy Alessia is grateful" Alessia bowed and left with the maids.

"Goodness gracious, you are bad, Neriah"

"I know right. It won't go thr way she likes." Neriah smirked.

"Why did she even come alone? She's so pathetic" Neriah added, furrowing her brows, glaring at no one in particular.

"She came with her Uncle, warrior Jasper"

"He's here to suggest that we should fight the witches rather than searching for the goddess? The witches will cast a spell on the whole world and no one can save us" Neriah rolled her eyes.

"We will look into it" Queen Diantha shrugged.

"That's a bad idea, mother. Other Realms should not interfere on our war with the witches. They only make things look misrable" Neriah stated, firmly.

"You will make a good general, Neriah"

"I appreciate the compliment. Though I know nothing about wars but I can always outthink many generals" Neriah stated and stood up, smirking.

"You're too brilliant for your age"

"Thank you mother. I'm off to the Noble Ladies' Terrain" she bowed

NIGHT...

"Good night princess" princess Alessia's maids bade and blew off the candles, leaving behind only the candle by the bedside to give the room a dim golden hue.

When princess Alessia made sure that they had left, she hopped down from her bed and wore her cloak before tip toeing out of the room.

"I need to find His Highness, he's in love and will get married? Sounds absurd!" She hissed and descended the stairs that was leading out of the guest house.

Everywhere is beaming with colourful fireflies. "Where's Lansel's chamber?"

Just then, she sighted a solitude from afar, mastering his powers.

He did some moves and a beautiful blue light glowed, forming a circle just above his head. Alessia hid behind a wall, watching him.

The solitude smirked dangerously, sensing a presence.

"I give you two seconds to show yourself'
