Chapter 5 - Chapter Five

~To the Calm Region~

"I give you two seconds to show yourself" Lansel's deep voice was heard. Alessia's heart was thumping hard as she palmed her mouth, recoiling in fear. She felt an invisible force pull her out of her hiding place and pinned her on the wall, strangling her. She subconsciously screamed.

Prince Lansel appeared in her front"it's you" his voice was dangerously low and calm as his sea green eyes bored into her blue ones.

"P...PL..please" she stuttered. Prince Lansel let go of her and she fell on the floor, coughing profusely.

Prince Dionysios and Warrior Jasper rushed to the scene.

"Alessia" Jasper rushed towards her.

"What did you do this time?" He asked with a frown.

"She was eavesdropping, she's lucky I didn't kill her" Lansel's voice was heard from behind and he left.

Jasper helped Alessia up. "One reason why I don't want you to follow me. You are a guest, why don't you act like one, I can't stand you disgracing Revildia" Jasper scolded.

"What did I do wrong, I was only looking for His Highness!" Alessia defended.

Jasper shook his head helplessly.

{Calm Region}

In an old house a young lady could be seen decorating the small house. An ethereal beauty with a set of gorgeous and striking silver eyes that seem to reflect the mysteries of the universe, complimented by cascading silver hair that flows like liquid moonlight. That's Niamh (pronounced as NEEV). She's just the replica of her name; Bright and beautiful. She's living Ina Small house with her mother, younger brother and sister in the Calm Region, a village in the Moon Realm. Those staying there are known as low life or weak supernaturals. They are called that because they are more or less humans. They have powers, but they are weak.

"Here you go again" Serephina, her mother beamed. NEEV turned to her mother and bowed slightly

"Good morning Mother" she beamed softly.

"Morning dear Neev, still decorating?" Serephina asked

"Ay Mother, I am obsessed with flowers" Niamh replied with a sweet smile.

"Good morning Mother!!" That's Niamh's siblings, Xerxes, and Aine (pronounced as Awn-yah)

"Morning cute kids" Serephina beamed

"Cute? How can a man be cute, Mother? I'm handsome" Xerxes boasted, folding his arms.

Truly, Xerxes is one handsome Greek god with a shoulder-length silver hair, like Neev's and silver eyes.

"You are cute and dashing" Niamh slapped his forehead and he pouted.

"See? He's acting cute" Awn-yah pointed.

"Watch your mouth, I'm more handsome. Infact, I'm the most handsome in the whole of the Moon Realm!" Xerxes blurted.

"Keep dreaming, let's go Awn-yah"

That's the good thing about this family, they are always happy even though they are poor. They are contented with what they have. Their father, Orleans Sullivan just disappeared mysteriously some years back and the family had been in grief for a long time. They searched everywhere they can to find him but he just disappeared without a trace nor a message. They finally gave up searching for him and hoped he'll return to them one day. The three kids, Niamh, Xerxes and Aine took good care of the family.

Niamh being the eldest, she provided for the family by hunting in the woods and picking fruits, Xerxes sells stuffs in the Calm Region's market and Aine being the youngest helps the family with what she can. They are just the best family ever and don't even care about having weak powers. They actually liked living as natural humans.

"Mother I'm off to the woods!" Niamh announced, picking up her bow and arrows. "Stay safe dear Neev"

"Lots of meat for tonight!" Aine yelled. Niamh chucked and left.

"Silver lady" Aoife (pronounced as EE-FAH), a pretty girl with maroon hair, Niamh's best friend beamed.

"Yes, crazy one" Niamh reciprocated and yhheh both laughed.

"As usual, to the Mist Forest?" Aoife rubbed her forehead tiredly.

"I can't believe you Neev, as delicate as you are. If I were you, I'd rather stay at home and watch over my beauty, rather than always going to the woods" Aoife added.

"Then how do we get food to eat, Xerxes cannot do it alone. I am the eldest, I have to do my duty" Niamh replied while Aoife sighed.

"Then I doubt if you'll ever have time to get married" she said and Niamh hit her head , lightly.

"Ee-fah! You're crazy about men but I'm not. I'd rather take care if my family for my whole life" Niamh siad dolefully.

"Of course I'm crazy about men, oh the princes of the Moon Realm! Oh prince Lansel! Those sea green eyes! Those..."

"Stop acting as if you've ever seen him! " Niamh cut her off and Aoife frowned.

"I have not seen him, ay. But that's what I heard about him. Both prince Lansel and prince Dionysios are handsome Greek gods" Aoife stated as- a- matter- of- factly.

"That could be a lie, they could be grumpy and ugly" Niamh shrugged her shoulders, rolling her silver eyeballs.

"How dear you insult them?! They are both handsome!" Aoife shrieked and then continued fantasizing about their handsomeness. "Oh I wish I can see them just once!"

"Goodness, what do I do with you" Niamh rubbed her temple tiredly.

"You want to see the princes right? What's between the Moon Realm and the Calm Region is the Mist Forest, you can go right?" Niamh smirked.

"What! The Mist Forest is the most dangerous place, once you go deeper, you don't come out alive" Aoife shrieked, her eyes showed great fear.

"Stop dreaming, you'll never see the princes then" Niamh patted her shoulders and left.

"Be careful don't go in deeper! Stay alert let the beast not eat you!" Aoife yelled.

"I will!" Niamh yelled back
