~Opal Necklace~
"My prince, is the cloth comfortable?" Severus asked as Lansel scrutinized himself in front of the mirror
"Not bad" Lansel mumbled a reply. He was clad in a plain trousers and shirt, just like the people of the Calm Region.
Still, Prince Lansel looked exceptionally gorgeous no matter how he disguised.
"We will go take a walk round the Calm Region" Lansel stated, packing his hair in a bun, some wispy strands falling off his face. That only made him look more hot.
"Hey watch out" Aoife yelled ass a lady nearly bumped into her. She continued humming a song, wandering to nowhere in particular. That's how she spends her whole day, doing nothing other then causing trouble.
She suddenly sighted Marius and she froze in the spot.
"Wh...who...who is that man?" She stuttered, her eyes were wall on Marius that she didn't notice Severus and Lansel.
"Oh my! He is handsome!!!" She squealed, palming her mouth. She hid behind a stall, drooling over him.
"Who are you staring at?" A voice came behind her and she flinched.
She turned to see blonde-haired guy staring keenly at her- her male friend.
"Vladimir!" She exclaimed.
"You were probably eavesdropping right?" The blonde-haired guy, named Vladimir asked.
"Nay, I was just..." Aoife turned to the direction she saw Marius a while ago but couldn't find him. Her eyes widened in horror
"What! Where is he!"
"Who again?" Vladimir asked tiredly.
"I saw a man with a shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. He's dressed like you but far more handsome than you!" Aoife described.
Vladimir scoffed "such person doesn't exist in the Calm Region, as you can see I and Xerxes are the only most handsome men in the Calm Region, second to none" he smirked boastfully.
"Little fool, I really saw him!" Aoife poked his shoulders.
"Oh Ee-fah!" Vladimir rubbed his forehead tiredly.
"Right, where's Neev?" His eyes twinkled as he said that.
Aoife scoffed at his sudden change of expression "here you go again, you'll die liking Neev. She will never look at you"
"And you'll die liking Xerxes" Vladimir smirked, Aoife's face went pale.
"Answer me now"
"Where else, at her house" Aoife glared at him like she wanted to strangle him
"Looks won't kill" Vladimir whispered and scurried away.
"Keep wasting your time, scummy! Ah! I need to find Mr Angel!"
Niamh was washing some cloths when Vladimir approached her
"Oh Vlad" she smiled and he reciprocated with a charming smile.
"Neev, you're busy?" He asked
"Yes, doing laundry, when I'm done I'll cook then go to the forest to get some wild fruits"
Vladimir's smile dropped, "you must be really busy. I wish wee will take a walk but you are not free. And I won't be free later"
Niamh cupped his cheeks "Don't be upset, next time, yay?" Vladimir looked into her silver eyes, it felt like he's staring at twin moons surrounded by million stars, reflecting the cosmos within.
"Here, I got you a necklace" he unwrapped a piece of old cloth. An oval necklace came to view which made Neev gasp.
"But Vlad, this must cost you a lot. I can't take it!" Neev complained.
"Why don't you use the money and take care of your father" she added
"Heyysh..." Vladimir hushed "don't worry about father. I have enough to take care of him"
"But still.."
"It's a gift from a special friend, I'll be glad if you accept it" Vladimir cut her off, giving her a pleading look.
Neev shook her head, muttering a 'no'
Vladimir smiled and locked the opal necklace around her neck "it looks good on you. Please don't take it off if you value me as your friend" Neev nodded slowly.
"A smile would do"
Neev chuckled and then smiled
"You're the most beautiful" he cupped her cheeks.
"Thanks Vlad"
He leaned in closer to her face but was stopped by the clearing of throat.
