Chapter 14 - Chapter Fourteen

~Not Just Anyone~

Niamh screamed and strched her palms towards it, the unbelievable happened.

A white light glowed out of her palm annd hit the beast directly, sending it flying meters away and hitting it on a tree. The tree started falling due to the force, it was falling on Niamh but she was too shocked to notice that there's a tree falling on her. Just when the tree was above her head, Lansel came flying and kicked the tree making it fall elsewhere. He quickly helped the shocked Niamh from the ground.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Lansel asked. Niamh shook her head repeatedly, sniffing.

"It's alright. I'm here now" he cooed, patting her back. He shot the beast a stare. It was down, dead. Due to the strange force that came from Niamh.

Prince Lansel stared at Niamh in confusion

"You killed it?" He asked while Niamh stared back at him with a questioning look. She didn't even know how the whole thing happened so, how is she supposed to know?

"Right, let's get out of here" he held her hand and teleported to the house he stays.

Marius and Severus were walking to and fro at the entrance and rushed to them when they sighted the prince an Niamh.

"Your Serene Highness, is everything alright?" Marius was the first to ask. Lansel sighed and nodded.

"We're leaving to the Moon Realm tonight" he stated and walked in with Niamh trailing behind him

Marius and Severus stared at each other, wondering what has happened

"Could he have found his goddess so soon?" Severus asked

"I'm afraid not, something must have came up"

"Can you explain things to me? I am left in the dark!" Neev said, growing impatient. Lansel paused and stared into her silver eyes and she quickly looked away.

"What is it that I should explain to you?" He asked, ever so calmly.

Neev bit her lower lip "Are you really prince Lansel?" She asked.

Lansel tilted his head and narrowed his gaze "Do I need to answer that?" He smirked

'Wait! If he's really prince Lansel, then, what the hell!!! ' Neev screamed inwardly.

"I apologise for calling you ugly and grumpy, for saying you have yellow teeth, for saying..."

"Enough!" Lansel cut her off, feeling irritated and Neev lowered her head.

"I am not just anyone, not some ugly duckling as you described"

"But you told me your name was Damsel" she pouted.

"I never told you that, you were stupid back then" Lansel stated and sat on the single chair near the fire place.

"Then how did Vladimir turned out to be that Demon prince?" Niamh asked again.

"He deceived you, he was never Vladimir and don't ask me where Vladimir is, because I don't know" Lansel replied and Niamh let out a deep exasperated sigh.

"I have to go home, it's sunset already" she made to leave but Lansel's next words made her freeze instantly.

"You are going with me to the Moon Realm"

Neev gasped in shock and turned to stare at him. She discovered how handsome he looked with the way the golden hue of the fire illuminated the side of his face giving him an indescribable beautiful golden gloss. She gulped down and shook her head, she won't let herself get distracted with his looks.

"Why do I have to?" She asked.

"It's not safe, not when Damien wants you" Lansel stated and she felt her muscles twitch by the mention of his name. She'd seen how dangerous he looked earlier, those red eyes that were glaring at Lansel with pure hatred... She wouldn't want to see it again.

"But what about my family? What if they're also in danger? What if I go to the Moon Realm and everyone hates me?" Niamh asked numerous questions at a time

"I will send over some royal gurads to watch over your family. I will make sure they're safe. And you're going to the Moon Realm, it doesn't matter if they hate you or not..." Lansel paused and smirked, staring up at her then continued...

"Not like you can purify a demon-possessed living"
