~Young Lady Neev~
Niamh's family had sleepless night. Early the next morning, they continued searching for her. Old Carolos also took morning meals to prince Lansel but to his surprise, he found no one. He searched and searched but found no one.
Just then, an opal necklace caught by his eyes, laying near the fireplace. He gently dropped the basket and picked up the necklace.
He'd recalled seeing the necklace on Niamh's neck, twice if not thrice that he even asked her where she got such beautiful necklace. She told him a very valuable friend gave it to her. Well, with her reply, he guessed it was Vladimir but he didn't say it. Instead he only told her to keep it safe, since it's a valuable necklace from a valuable friend.
'This is surely hers, so why is it here?' he thought. He shrugged his shoulders, picked up the basket and left.
Not too far from the house, he met Awn-yah, Xerxes and Ee-fah rushing towards him. "Old Grandpa, have you seen Neev" Xerxes asked, breathing heavily.
He even forgot to greet him as what he's thinking now is finding Neev, nothing else.
Old Carolos lowered his heard, sadly.
"Say something Grandpa!" That's Awn-yah, already growing impatient.
He sighed and took out the opal necklace which made the trio gasp at once.
"I found this"
"Where did you found it? Where?!" Xerxes snatched the necklace away from him.
Old Carolos gulped down. He remembered Marius' strict warnings, never to tell anyone it was the crown prince that was living in his house or he'll be dead. But with Xerxes' desperate looks of finding Neev, he didn't have the heart to hide anything from him or he'll regret it for the rest of his life.
"At my house..." Old Carolos trailed off and took a deep breath while the trio watched him eagerly.
"Where the crown prince of the Moon Realm stayed"
GBANG! they all heard a loud bang on their heads.
"That... That strange mysterious man is the prince?" Xerxes stuttered.
"They took her! They took my sister!" Awn-yah cried.
"Where are you Neev? Why will you leave just like father? I can't bear it Neev, I can't" Xerxes fell on his knees, crying. Hugging the necklace into his chest, tight.
Aine crouched down and hugged him as they cried. Aoife joined them afterwards.
Old Carolos stared at the trio, he felt sadness overlapping his heart as he fought back the tears that are threatening to fall but they came rolling down his cheeks.
•MOON REALM•
Niamh slept soundly last night and woke up late the next morning. She rubbed her eyes and yawned loudly. She, herself is also suprised that she slept so soundly instead of her to be worried sick about her family.
On the contrary, she felt a sudden calmness and peace of mind. She had no idea that that happened because the prince ordered the maids to put an hypnotic incense to make her sleep.
"Woah, it's morning but I really want to sleep some more" she pouted and ruffled her hair. She yawned and fell back on the bed, her silver hair scattering on the pillow like the moon's silver light dispersing on Earth.
The door opened and her personal maids walked in.
"Good morning M'lady" they both bowed.
"Morning, Kieran, Ophelia" she reciprocated. She could easily identify which one is Kieran and which, is Ophelia because Kieran has a beautiful red hair while Ophelia is a brunette.
"Let's wash you up, your breakfast is ready" Kieran announced and Niamh creased her brows.
"Wash me up? I'm I not supposed to do that myself?" She asked and they both chuckled.
"No, lady Neev. In the Moon Realm, every Noble lady is being served. She doesn't do things on her own. Spanning from washing up, dressing, feeding and the rest" Ophelia explained.
"But I am no Lady" Niamh still complained. Like she's right, her maids washing her up, does that mean she'll be stark in front of them everyday as they wash her up? The thought alone felt absurd for someone like Niamh.
"Yes you are, M'lady. First Prince Lansel brought you here, even if you are not from a noble family, you are his lady. Our Lady, also" Kieran stated, with a small yet sweet smile.
Niamh was quite for a while, she only kept staring at them without uttering a word, then she sighed.
"Staying in the palace would be a bit difficult for me" she said.
"Nay, young lady Neev, it'll be great. I hope you'll like it" Kieran was quick to disagree.
Kieran and Ophelia washed Neev up and dressed her up in a rich silky blue dress with flowing sleeves. The upper part of the dress was tight while the lower part flared down, sweeping the floor. There are golden motifs and swirls that adorned the edges of the dress.
They styled her hair in a waterfall braid with loosed curls and let it cascade on her back like liquid moonlight, some parts falling on her shoulders.
"I like your hair M'lady"
"You are absolutely gorgeous, second to none"
"And your eyes, I have never seen someone with such colour of eyes" Kieran and Ophelia kept complimenting her beauty.
"My father and brother have same color of eyes and hair" Neev replied.
"I would be pleased to meet your brother" Ophelia giggled dreamily.
"The beauty must flow in the blood" Kieran remarked.
"I haven't seen my father in four years" Neev suddenly stated and the maids gasped.
"He went to get me a gift for my 18th nameday but he never returned. He just disappeared" she added, smiling sadly.
"We're sorry Lady Neev. I hope your father comes back one day" Kieran said, soberly.
"I hope so"
Niamh stared at her reflection through the mirror and subconsciously gasped. She can sear that in her entire life, she never thought she'll become this beautiful and eye catching. The silky blue dress made her look more beautiful or maybe, it was her gorgeous face, beautiful structure, bewildering hair and dazzling eyes that enhanced the beauty of the dress. Whichever the case may be, she killed it. What do you expect, she's now regarded as 'Young Lady Neev'
After she had her meal, she went to the bookshelf and picked up a book
'Duchess of Ice'. "That could be interesting" she mouthed.
"Ay, lady Neev. All the books are interesting. They are all about the supernaturals that lived for thousands of years. Among which some are still alive" Kieran explained.
"Really? Then you must know a lot about them" Niamh asked.
"Ay M'lady. Reading books is what I love doing since childhood" Kieran smiled.
"But M'lady, would you like to take a walk round the palace? I bet you'll love it!" Ophelia asked, hher eyes twinkling in excitement.
"No way! Never!"
