Chapter 1 - Chapter One

~The curse~

In an exquisite and grandeur chamber, a gorgeous young Prince with a dazzling sea green eyes, long Raven Black hair, hard masculine face and structured physique was being dressed by his maids. The maids bowed when they're done and scurried out of the room. Prince Lansel nodded in satisfaction as he scrutinized himself in front of the large dressing mirror. His attire exuded regal elegance adorned with a luxurious cascade of crimson velvet and opulent gold embroidery. A velvet robe, draped gracefully over his shoulders completed the ensemble that exuded majesty and sophistication.

Almost immediately, the door burst open and his sister, Princess Neriah walked in. She's one beautiful lady with a shining golden hair and bright blue eyes just like her mom.

"Lansel" her soft voice echoed and sshe hugged him.

Lansel rolled his eyes and pushed her away from him.

"You are a princess, act like one" he stated, firmly while made Neriah pout.

"Must you act cold even towards your sister?" she asked but Lansel only shrugged.

"Fine then" princess Neriah took three steps backwards and bowed. "Good morning, Your Serene Highness"

Prince Lansel smirked satisfactorily. "Morning, Your Grace"

"Goodness, I can't believe you" Neriah glared at him.

"I'll lock your Powers if you do that again' Lansel warned and walked passed her.

"Let's go to the dining, mother is already waiting" Neriah stated and teleported out of the room.

At the dining...

"Where's Lansel?" That's the Moon goddess/ Queen of the Moon Realm; Queen Diantha.

"On his way" Neriah sat beside her mother. Almost immediately, Lansel walked in and all the guards and maids bowed.

"Good morning, Mother" He bowed briefly.

Queen Diantha smiled warmly. "Morning Lansel, have your seat already"

Lansel nodded and sat opposite her. "Quit staring at me if you can't greet" he snapped at his brother, his face was a cold blank mask.

Prince Dionysios shut him a stare and dug into his food, calmly. Prince Dionysios is Lansel's younger brother and Neriah's elder brother. Him and Lansel are known to be extremely close. They can die for each other since their father, the Moon Supreme passed away. They do almost everything together that got others wondering if they are really brothers and not twins.

"Quit acting, we all know you can die for Dionysios" Neriah snapped, earning a glare from Lansel.

"Not like he's my wife or something" Lansel mumbled, loud enough for them to hear.

"Get married then" Dionysios snapped and then turned to Queen Diantha

"Mother, Lansel should not be crowned as the Moon Supreme unless he's married. He only keep acting cold, All he cares is work and power"

"Cut that crap, Dennis!" Lansel's cold voice echoed in the dining room which made princess Neriah flinch.

"Easy, Lansel. Hush now, boys" Queen Diantha cooed with a smile.

Lansel shot Dionysios a deadly cold glare and dug into his food while Dionysios just smiled.

"Meet me at my Flower Sanctum, Lansel" Queen Diantha stated when she was done with her meal and left with her shadow guards.

~~~
"You called for me, mother" Lansel bowed as he walked into the Flower Sanctum. Queen Diantha gestured him to sit beside her, which he did.
"It's about what your brother said..." she began
"Why will you take what Dionysios said serious? You know he's fond of teasing me' Lansel cut her off but quickly lowered his head in apology. "I apologise for interrupting you, I should have let you speak, Your Grace"
Queen Diantha smiled. "Your father is dead, you will soon be the Moon Supreme. But before that, you will have to get married"
Lansel looked up at his mother, his eyes asking numerous unasked questions. Queen Diantha continued, however.
"Your father told me before he died that you have to look for your soulmate. She is the multipowerful supernatural, the unknown Moon goddess"
"Why will I have to search for my soulmate?" Lansel asked. Queen Diantha stood up from where she was sitting and backed him. Her golden dress swayed behind her, exuding both sophistication and authority.
"It was a curse"
"A curse?" Lansel repeated, shocked by the sudden discovery.
"Your fifth grandfather offended the witches which got them to curse him. He had to travel miles away, searching for the Moon goddess in all the supernatural Realms. The curse was passed down to your grandfathers, your father and now, you. No one could still lift the curse"
Lansel looked as if he was thinking of something. The whole thing sounded absurd to him as he scoffed.
"For real I have to search for the woman I love?" He asked again.
"Not the woman you love but the Moon goddess. You have to be careful not to fall for the wrong person" Queen Diantha was quick to correct him.
"How will I know if I've met her? What if I don't love her? What if she's ugly, or she doesn't like me? Oh that would be stupid cause she'll surely like me, not her but every lady in the supernatural Realms would die to be with me, it is known" Lansel asked numerous questions at once and still boasted about his handsomeness. Queen Diantha smiled at her son's naivety. At least, all what he said about his handsomeness is true, every lady is willing to throw herself and lick his feet if she can be with him.
"Come, I will give you a clue of how to find her"
