Aki walked downstairs and saw Selly approaching with a cup of tea in her hand. He took the cup, sipped lightly, and then placed it on a nearby table.

"Did you know Misaki drank one of my drinks?" Aki asked, heading towards the fridge.

Selly glanced at the tea cup, then back at Aki before answering, "Yes."

"Why didn't you stop her?" Aki asked as he opened the fridge, scanning its contents to see what Misaki might have drunk.

Selly stepped closer, bent down, and pulled out a bottle, handing it to Aki. "I thought you might like it," she said.

"Cider? It's only 5 percent. When did she drink this?" Aki inquired, ignoring the part where Selly implied that he would enjoy it.

"Before we went out. I suspected Misaki might have a high tolerance since she didn't seem drunk until we got back," Selly replied, meeting Aki's gaze.

Aki sighed, putting the bottle back in its place. "Because of your mistake, I had to control my... urges. So, help me out."

"... With pleasure," Selly responded. Aki nodded, took the tea, and sat on the sofa. Selly followed, sitting on the floor as she unzipped his pants and freed him from his restraint.

"I haven't seen this for so long. You haven't touched me since the day you took my virginity," Selly remarked, making Aki flinch with realization.

He sighed and responded, "Are you angry with what I did to you?"

"... I was," Selly admitted, making Aki nervous. But then she continued, "But I think it was for the best."

"Why?" Aki asked, puzzled.

"If I hadn't been in that situation, I wouldn't have realized my fiancé was a coward, along with my family."

"That's not a reason for you to forgive me, though," Aki pointed out.

Selly didn't say anything more. Instead, she opened her mouth and took Aki's into her throat, silencing any further conversation.

Aki felt a twinge of regret as he looked down at Selly, who was now wiping her mouth after completing the act. He sighed deeply, realizing the complexity of their relationship. "I don't know what you're plotting," he said, his voice firm yet tinged with concern. "But think carefully about your decisions. I'm trying to change, and I want to treasure you more, but if you do betray me, I won't forgive you."

Selly paused for a moment, Aki's words seemingly registering with her. But then, she continued to prepare herself to go back to her duties, as if nothing had happened. "I'll prepare the fruit for Miss Misaki," she said, her voice steady as she stood up.

Aki watched her leave, conflicted. He knew he'd given his warning, but what would the future hold? He wasn't heartless; if Selly sought revenge for what had happened between them, he might understand. But if her actions went too far, he would have no choice but to discipline her.

With these thoughts swirling in his mind, Aki turned his attention back to another matter. He searched through his phone for the number Misaki had used to call her house, labeled as "Misa's Mom" in his contacts.

After a few rings, a young girl's voice answered. "Hello, Ayuzawa household."

The voice wasn't what Aki expected; it sounded younger than the mature voice he had imagined. "Is this Suzuna?" Aki asked, already piecing together that this was likely Misaki's younger sister.

"...Yes... Who is this?" Suzuna asked cautiously.

"How to say... I'm your sister's man," Aki teased, his tone light. "Is that a good enough answer, dear picking tom?"

"Sister's man? Picking toooom... Are you the guy who kissed Sis on the road in front of our house?" Suzuna's voice, though calm, carried a hint of excitement.

"Yeah, yeah, that's me—the handsome, rich brother who kissed your sister," Aki boasted playfully.

"Narcissist," Suzuna muttered, unimpressed.

"You're really frank with your brother-in-law, huh? But I'm impressed you acknowledge me as handsome," Aki teased back. "So, tell me, anything you want—I'll buy it for you."

"Oh, is that so? Then I want a bottle of cooking oil, a bag of rice, a bag of potatoes, etc.," Suzuna listed off nonchalantly.

Aki was taken aback. "Are you serious? I drive a damn 1,31,16,96,000.00 yen car, and you're asking me for grocery items? Suzuna, let me tell you something—your brother-in-law is freaking rich, so ask me for something bigger."

Suzuna was surprised by the figure he mentioned. She knew her sister had brought home a wealthy man, but she hadn't realized just how wealthy. Still, she couldn't help but think he was boasting a bit too much. But if he was offering, she wouldn't hold back. "I won't be modest then. Can you buy me a cell phone and a sewing machine, Brother-in-law?" she asked, deciding to accept him as her brother-in-law right then.

Aki smiled, pleased with the title. "Not much, but it's fine... I get the part about the cell phone, but why a sewing machine?"

"It's for Mom," Suzuna explained.

"Oh... If it's for her to work, then I won't buy it. Your sister is earning plenty, and now you also have me. So tell Aunty not to stress out. Let her know I'll visit someday to check her health at the hospital," Aki replied, his tone softening as he considered the well-being of Misaki's mother.

Aki couldn't help but recall the character of Minako from the anime—Misaki and Suzuna's mother—who was often depicted as being sickly. He thought about how he could help, perhaps by arranging a full body checkup for her.

On the other end of the line, Suzuna felt a mixture of relief and gratitude. "I'll be grateful if you can help Mom," she responded, her voice sincere. The request wasn't easy for her, but with her mother coughing in the next room, she couldn't ignore the need.

"I will," Aki promised. "Oh, and your phone—I'll bring you the latest one tonight when I drop Misaki home."

"Um, I don't mind," Suzuna replied, trying to sound nonchalant, but inwardly, she was both surprised and pleased.

"Then I'll hang up now," Aki said, ending the call.

"Tud, tud..." The sound of the line disconnecting echoed softly.

Just as Suzuna was about to leave after putting down the phone, Minako opened the door and entered the room. "Suzuna, who was it?" she asked, curious about the conversation she had just overheard.

Suzuna turned to face her mother. "Oh, Mom, it was Brother-in-law," she answered casually, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

Minako's eyes widened in shock, and she almost stumbled on her feet. "What? Brother-in-law? Who... I didn't know Misaki had a boyfriend!" she exclaimed, quickly moving to stop Suzuna from leaving. "When did this happen? Why didn't she tell me?"

Suzuna blinked, realizing how startling her words must have sounded to her mother. "Oh, um, it's... It's new, I guess? I mean, they seem close, and he's really nice, Mom. He even offered to help with some things," Suzuna explained, trying to calm her mother down.

Minako, still processing the information, sat down. "I can't believe Misaki didn't mention this... And he's already being called 'Brother-in-law'? Just who is this man?" she asked, her voice a mix of concern and curiosity.

Suzuna hesitated for a moment. "He's... well, he's rich. And from what I can tell, he really cares about Sis. Remember, Mom. I think he's the man who kissed Sister a week ago," she added, hoping to reassure her mother.

Minako, though still a bit dazed, couldn't help but feel a bit of hope. If that man was serious and capable, maybe things would get better for her daughters. "I suppose we'll have to meet him soon, then," she said softly, more to herself than to Suzuna.

"Yeah, I think so," Suzuna replied, giving her mother a small, reassuring smile but refraining from telling her about Aki's offer.

As she turned to head back to her room, a thought struck Suzuna. "Wait, more importantly... What is his name?" she wondered aloud, but shrugged it off, deciding she would just ask Misaki later. Satisfied with that, she left her mother to her thoughts and returned to her room, leaving Minako still sitting there, trying to process everything.
