Aki got the plate from Selly's hand and went upstairs to where Misaki was. Opening the door, he found her sleeping soundly in his bed. Sighing, Aki placed the plate on his desk and continued his work of writing and updating.
Time passed like this, and Aki didn't even notice when Selly had fallen asleep, hugging Misaki on his bed. Looking at both of them, Aki muttered, "They are beautiful... it wouldn't be bad for them to call each other sisters..."
As Aki gazed at the sleeping beauties, his mind wandered off to some important matters. Seriously, he thought, "In the movie Your Name, Mitsuha and the main character switch bodies randomly for a month... But how will mine work? Will I be on the other side tomorrow, or will I still be me tomorrow?"
Looking at the girls, he sighed. He wanted them to stay over, but he knew he couldn't do that for a month. He couldn't allow himself to be seen as anything less than masculine in front of the girls he was determined to seduce.
Noticing the hour, it was already evening, so he decided to rest for an hour or so. With nothing better to do, he lay down on the sofa and closed his eyes.
Hours later, Aki woke up to find himself covered in a blanket. He searched for Misaki and Selly with his eyes but found the bed empty. "They already woke up," he muttered, looking at the two blankets with a smile. "Cute," he concluded, realizing that both Selly and Misaki had covered him with their blankets.
He stretched his body and opened the door, only to smell something good coming from downstairs. Heading down, he saw four people preparing the table.
"Kamiya-san! Hina-neesan! Did something happen?" Aki asked, puzzled, seeing Kamiya decorating the dining table while Misaki and Hina were preparing food with Selly.
"Oh, Shijo-kun, you're awake. We haven't had dinner together in a while, so I thought we should eat together today," Hina explained.
"Um, I don't mind, but what are you making?" Aki asked, yawning.
"Beef and vegetable soup as the main dish," Selly explained.
"Go take a bath to freshen up. We'll wrap this up before you finish, then we can eat together," Hina said.
Among the group in the house, Hina was the eldest, and despite being the owner, Aki respected her authority. Obeying her, he went to take a shower. After he came out, everyone sat in their respective chairs and started eating.
"Mmm, it's good!" Misaki exclaimed, savoring the food.
"Yeah, Hina-neesan's food always tastes good," Aki agreed.
"Mom's cooking is the best," Kamiya added, praising her mother with a smile.
Selly nodded in agreement, appreciating the meal quietly.
After slurping a mouthful of soup, Aki suddenly remembered something. "Ah, tomorrow is Sunday—I totally forgot!"
"What's wrong, Shijo-kun?" Kamiya asked, worried by his sudden outburst.
"Nothing much," Aki sighed, then looked around at the group. "Um, if you all don't mind, do you want to see an idol performance tomorrow?"
"Eh? Whose performance?" Misaki asked, intrigued.
"It's not a very famous band, just in its developing phase. It's an indoor performance, not too big. But if you're busy, then…"
"No, no, it's fine! Tomorrow is Sunday, after all, so we'll be free," Hina quickly exclaimed, eager to let her daughter spend more time with Aki.
"Okay then, I'll prepare a ride for you all tomorrow, but I might not be able to accompany you," Aki said, taking precautions in case something unexpected happened the next day.
"Eh? How will it be fun without you?" Hina protested.
"Mom, we're literally going to watch an idol show, and you're worried about entertainment without Aki?" Kamiya teased, rolling her eyes playfully.
Laughing off her own enthusiasm, Hina gave her daughter a playful nudge, enjoying the moment.
After dinner, Kamiya and Hina went back home, leaving Aki to drop Misaki off. However, he was a bit concerned about Selly, who was insisting on staying behind.
"Are you scared? Do you feel threatened staying alone with me?" Selly asked, her voice calm but teasing.
"It's not that," Aki sighed. "Okay, fine. Whatever." He thought about Mitsuha and decided it might be a good idea to leave a warning for her—perhaps writing something down in a book or on a piece of paper and hanging it on the door.
Leaving Selly behind, Aki and Misaki headed outside where his motorbike was parked. Aki hopped on, and Misaki climbed on behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"We should go to a phone store first," Aki suggested as they started down the road.
Misaki nodded, though she wasn't quite sure why Aki was suddenly buying a phone.
As they arrived at the store, Aki's mind was racing. He decided to buy three smartphones: one for Misaki, one for her sister Suzuna, and one for their mother, Minako. Aki wanted to make sure they were all well-equipped, especially considering Minako's health.
Misaki followed Aki inside the store, still unsure of his intentions. As Aki selected the phones, Misaki watched curiously but didn't ask any questions.
After purchasing the phones, Aki suggested they head to a grocery store. There, he asked Misaki for details about various items like oil, meat, vegetables, and more.
Misaki happily helped him pick out the groceries, not realizing Aki was buying all of these for her family. She was just glad to spend more time with him, unaware of the thoughtful surprise Aki was planning for her mother and sister.
