Draco's POV
"Draco, stop!" He ordered.
I sighed, "here we go again."
His commands worked, but it had little effect on me. I just needed to wait for five seconds before I could move my body.
He was fifteen years old and I was teaching him everything I knew, but this was one of the lessons I would make sure I skipped for now.
"I told you those little commands of yours don't work on me." I lied as I walked towards him.
"But it worked the first time, I ordered you to stop and I saw you struggle to move," he said with a groan.
"You are seeing things, besides you were in a coma not too long ago. It is perfectly normal to imagine things." I explained as I blasted him with fireballs.
He quickly dodged but couldn't dodge completely. He got burnt a little on the leg.
"Ouch! You cheated! I was not ready! " He cried out as he held his injured leg.
" The enemy doesn't wait until you are ready." I said, I didn't wait for him to reply as I sent him bolts of fire.
This time, he dodged successfully and I was impressed.
I started training him to be prepared for anything. Back in the town, I was investigating secretly under the disguise of selling my vegetables. I learnt that the bounty on his head had increased. I was not ready to take any chances, so I began training him whenever I was less busy.
Today's training was about dodging the enemy attack and healing yourself immediately you are hit.
"I have to heal myself. Hold on!" He screamed as he continued to dodge my blast.
"You have to heal yourself while I blast you." I shouted back.
He started getting tired of dodging and most of my fireballs hit him.
I stopped when I saw him collapse on the ground, I rushed towards him and used my healing powers to heal him. One of the powers I got after the spell Selene did.
After some time, he was completely healed and soon he opened his eyes.
"If I was the enemy, you would have been dead now." I said as I gently pulled him up.
"Today's lesson is over, we will continue tomorrow. I expect you to practice well because I am not going to take it easy on you." I said as we walked into the house.
"Whatever, I am going to bed." He said, he rolled his eyes and moved to his room.
I chuckled, kids! I can't wait until he is an adult so that I can stop babysitting. I went to my room, picked up my bags and went to sell vegetables. While I was at that, I also gathered Intels.
Time flew by fast and Dylan was becoming better at the training. I was impressed by him and his mood seemed better.
Five years later, he just turned eighteen. I was still babysitting and Mr Grumpy was not making it any easier for me.
"I am an adult now and I am ready to take revenge on my parents' killers." he yelled at me.
I groaned as I looked at him, he was beginning to look, sound and behave annoying.
"You are not ready for that, besides you still have a lot to learn." I calmly replied to him, though he was testing my patience.
"That is what you have been saying for the past two years. I aced all my training and I am ready for revenge." he continued to shout.
"Dylan, you are not ready. When you are, I will let you know." I replied through my teeth.
"I have been cooped up in this house since we arrived here. I feel like a prisoner, I need some fresh air." he shouted, "I need to see what the outside world looks like."
I sighed, he was being too dramatic. If he truly wanted some air, he could go outside to get one. Why did he want to leave this safe haven for the ruthless world? Does he know the bounty on his head?
"Is this about your parents' death anniversary tomorrow?" I asked, he has been acting this way for the past two years, especially on his birthday.
He kept silent, I took in a deep breath and moved towards him. I placed my hands on his shoulder and said, "Can't we celebrate your birthday peacefully? I even got you strawberry cake, the type you love best."
It all happened in a flash, I wasn't expecting it. Dylan used his power and threw me through the wall. After going through the walls, I landed outside and I was coughing while gasping for air.
"Did he just throw me through those walls?" I said to myself, it was unbelievable, when did he become so strong?
I laughed as Iay on the ground,I got excited for the challenge he just threw at me. Finally, after years of babysitting, I was going to have some actions.
"Game on!" I muttered excitedly.
I sprouted out my dragon wings and flew towards him. I smiled as I saw him coming after me with full force. I noticed there was something different about him but was too excited for some action. We clashed and I punched him in the face, he returned it with a kick to my stomach.
I breathed out fire and each time he dodged it, I slammed him in the face with my fist.
"Is that all you got?" I said as I punched him on the stomach.
"I hate you!" He screamed as he tried to land a hit.
"The feeling is mutual." I replied as I flung him into the air and followed it with a series of blows on him.
"Good night!" I yelled as I kicked him into the ground.
I flew down and my wings went back into my body.
"Not bad! Maybe next time you can actually defeat me " I was pleased with myself and chuckled.
But that feeling didn't last long when I saw what Dylan was doing.
"Dylan, whatever you are doing, you are not ready for it." I screamed at him, I was worried he would get hurt.
I rushed to stop him, but he used his powers to lift me into the air. I tried to break free from the spell but I was getting weaker and weaker.
"Stop this Dylan." I cried out, I couldn't feel my body again. I tried casting some spells to break free, but nothing worked.
Dylan was draining my powers and I was losing consciousness slowly. I didn't teach him this spell and I wondered who did.
There was no way to stop him, but since I was bound to him, I could communicate with him telepathically.
"Dylan, listen to my voice. You have to control this."
"I can't. I don't know how to. Help me!"
"Dylan!" I whispered before I lost consciousness.
