Draco's POV
"We have to be in disguise, we can't just walk in that way." I suggested, turning to look at them.
"That's a good idea, but do you know any disguise spells? Can't we just get new clothes and do the disguise?" Dylan asked, his brows creased with confusion.
"Hmmmmmm, that's true. The wolves have a very good sense of smell. If we go in there without a spell to mask my scent, they will sniff us out. I am the only dragon alive and I am also a fugitive. You are a forbidden child and they would kill you instantly." I explained.
"What are you two blabbing about? I know the disguise spell and if you ask politely, I might agree to help with that" Anele offered, with her arms folded.
"Hell No!"
"Please!"
We both shouted at once.
"Come on Draco, we need her help. Can't you trust her a little bit, even for a Teeny weeny bit." Dylan pleaded.
I groined, "Sure, trust a stranger who fell from the sky and is very helpful. What could possibly go wrong?" I was pissed, why can't Dylan see what I am seeing.
"I am an orphan, I have been wandering around to seek revenge on the person that killed my child ." Anele explained.
I suspected she was telling us half the truth but I decided not to push for more information.
"Another thing we have in common." Dylan said sadly.
"Is Dylan having a moment on Anele?" I muttered. "I don't trust Anele one bit and if she thought she could walk in here and use her evil spells on my Dylan. Then she is in for fight." I stared daggers at Anele, I didn't like her one bit.
"Do you want some water?" Dylan asked, he picked up a water bottle and stretched his hands towards Anele.
I snatched the bottle of water from Dylan's hand and drank it in three gulps. They both looked at me with surprised looks.
"I was thirsty." I mumbled and looked away out of embarrassment.
"Do you want some snacks?" Dylan asked me, he dipped his hands in his bag and brought out some snacks.
"No, thank you." I rejected, I felt full from the water I drank earlier.
He asked Anele and she said yes. He was about to give her the snacks when I snatched it from his hand and hurriedly munched on them.
"I suddenly became hungry." I said, pieces of crumbs fell from my mouth and landed on Anele's face.
I was pleased with that and continued to talk, I made sure more crumbs fell on her face.
"Dylan,do you have more snacks you intend to share with anyone other than me?" I asked with a mischievous grin.
"Since you have eaten the snacks, I will give the cake to Anele." Dylan replied, his stretched hand towards Anele.
"Can I see the cake?" I asked innocently, I swallowed the remaining food on my mouth.
I smiled mischievously when I saw Anele's face covered with crumbs.
"Urhhhhhh, sure.." Dylan looked confused and gave me the cake.
I shoved it into my mouth, "Wait!" Dylan cried out. It was too late, I was already licking my fingers with a mouth full of cake.
I belched loudly and of course close to Anele's face. Now that I have punished her a little, I was ready to swallow my pride and beg her.
"Now that we have satisfied our hunger, Anele, can you please cast the disguise spell." I asked sweetly.
"Sure." Anele agreed, and she stood up and cast the spell. When she was done, she had a smug look.
As soon as Dylan started laughing hysterically, I knew she had made me look horrible.
I rushed for a mirror in my bag and I stood corrected. Looking horrible would have been better, what I saw was unspeakable.
"What did you do?" I cried out, even my voice was disgusting.
Dylan wasn't helping matters as he kept on laughing at me.
"Change my appearance at once or else." I ordered, I formed a fireball and was ready to blast her.
She sighed,"Alright, it was fun while it lasted." She said, She casted another spell and I rushed to look at the mirror.
"What's wrong with you? Why did you make me a girl?" I cried out in horror. I did look good as a girl but I was still furious.
Dylan burst into another series of laughter and Anele joined him.
"It's either this look or the previous one. Your choice." Anele retorted.
I tried intimidating Anele but it was just a waste of time. I sulked as I waited for Anele to change Dylan's disguise.
"We are entering the pack now." I scowled and picked my bag. I walked ahead with those two laughing behind my back.
"How are the packs going to know that we are one of them?" Dylan asked curiously.
"When I cast the spell, I made your unique scent that of a werewolf,"she replied with a smile.
"You are very good at disguise spells, is this your real look?" Dylan asked.
"Why are you asking? You think I am ugly?" She replied, dodging the question.
"No, you are pretty, since you are the only girl I have met since my parents death. I was just curious." He paused, then continued, "Draco is so cute, he has good genes whether he is a boy or a girl he is very cute. He is the second girl I have seen since we left the house, that is after you though."
I heard Dylan call me cute and I rolled my eyes, I couldn't help but smile.
We got to the town and blended in. Though I was nervous at first, no one found us suspicious. I asked a bread seller for directions to the nearest hotel. I was told that today was Alpha's daughter's wedding. I bought some bread and thanked the seller. I joined them where they stood and we continued to the hotel I was given directions to.
"We are in luck, the Alpha's daughter is getting married today. So we won't be that suspicious." I explained as we made our way through the crowds.
We all went to a hotel to rest and plan our next room.
"How much for three rooms?"I asked, I brought out my purse and waited for her reply.
"That would be five thousand coins." The receptionist replied with no emotion on her face.
"What! I only have 3000 coins and that is all I could have." I cried out.
"That would be enough for a room."
I sighed out of frustration. This was all my savings, I had recently restocked food back at home. If only I knew that Dylan would rain havoc today I would have saved my money.
"I have some money with me, I can help you with the extra 2000 coins if that is okay with you." Dylan said.
I was shocked and I wondered how he got the money.
"Dylan, where did you get that amount of coins?" I frowned at him.
"I….. it's…. We….." Dylan stuttered, he looked at Anele for help.
"You are on your own." Anele said with her hands up.
I was about to ask Dylan more questions when a stranger who was covered in cloak walked to the receptionist.
"I would like to pay for a room please, and for these lovely people." the stranger said as he dropped the coins on the desk.
"Thank you for your kindness but I would like to…."
Anele interrupted me, "What he is trying to say is thank you for your kindness and he would like to know your name."
"Oh, I am Ghost. Nice to meet you all." He said with a friendly smile.
I tried to get a look at his face but he wore a mask.
"Here is your key sir." The receptionist handed over the key to him. He smiled again and left us wondering who in their right mind answers the name GHOST.
"Here is your key." The receptionist handed the key to me and we walked into the elevator and went to our room.
As soon as we entered the room, I cast some spells in the room. Once I was sure that no one could hear us, we began to draft out our plans.
"The best time to strike is at the wedding, their guards will be down." I said, as I drafted the plan.
"Whose wedding is this?" Dylan asked.
I sighed, I couldn't hold him back anymore, he has to avenge his parents.
"The daughter of the man that betrayed and killed your parents. He was the one who poisoned your parents with wine on your birthday, that was why your parents couldn't defeat them. The poison was to make them lose their powers." I explained, as much as it hurts me to see Dylan hurt, it was time he knew the truth.
I noticed a series of emotions on Dylan's face. His eyes turned red and I could see the taste for blood in his eyes.
"I will take what he loves the most just like he took mine."
I felt chills go down my spine as images went through my head, I was lucky to be on his good side.
