Dylan POV
"Who are you?" Someone asked, I turned to look at the person and it was one of the murderers.
I slowly levitated up with a sinister smile. I saw the horrifying look on everyone's face.
"Doom, your worst nightmare!" I started laughing hysterically and my eyes turned red.
"Is this a magic show?"
"It looks like it will be interesting?"
"Great, another trick again."
People muttered among each other, some looked worried, while some laughed.
"Really! You all think this is a Joke." I yelled at them.
"Is this not a joke… I am very confused." Someone in the crowd asked.
"You fools!" My voice reverberated through the hall. Thunder rumbled in the sky not too far from the hall. I raised my hands as energy crackled through me in the form of lighting bolts.
"I have a bad feeling about this…" I heard one of the guests mutter.
The Alpha had given his men signs to surround me. I was furious, they all thought I was joking. I was going to use the Alpha guards as an example.
I levitated one of the guards into the air, started squeezing the life out of him. Another one attacked me from behind, but I successfully evaded her.
Everyone watched the guard who was up in the air and was confused if it was entertainment or if it was real.
"I waited for years just to see the look on your face, Ethan." I let out an evil laugh.
"Dylan, remember not to lose control, we can't afford Vengeance breaking free." Draco said telepathically.
"I am not promising you anything." I replied to him and shut him out of my mind.
"Help….. he…..lp…." The guard tried to talk as he was being strangled.
I used one hand to defend myself whilst the other released telepathic power to hold the guard in the air and choke him.
Slash Slash
The guards half transformed into a werewolf and tried attacking me with their claws. I dodged their attacks and kept on choking the other guard.
Crack!!!
The neck of the guard snapped and he went limp in the air. Time stood still as everyone watched in horror as the guard stopped moving. I let go of the guard and his lifeless body fell to the ground with a resounding thud.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
"He is dead!!!"
"I am out of here!"
Like someone has casted a spell of chaos or was directing a movie, Everyone immediately started screaming and began running helter-skelter.
"Attack him!" The Alpha cried out.
The guards that were half transformed immediately went into full transformation.
Howl… Howl…
They all howled at once, communicating in wolf language and lunged at me. I smiled and started applying the things I learnt from my training. I lifted one of the wolves into the air and threw the wolf at another incoming wolf.
I caught a glimpse of the Alpha holding his daughter and escaping through the backdoor. I used one hand to defend myself from the wolves while I used the other to levitate some chairs and tables and used them to block the door. I levitated another couple of chairs and tables and did the same thing for the front door. Satisfied that there was no way for them to escape, I continued to fight the wolves.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
I kept on fighting the wolves and snapping their necks and bones but they kept on coming, I wondered where they came from as I was beginning to get surrounded and tired. This was the first time I had to fight so many enemies, Draco always stopped when I was extremely tired and would postpone the training. I didn't know what I would do next after being extremely tired.
The reality was beginning to dawn on me, this was not training and the scary part was that I was beginning to get tired. One of the wolves pressed harder when she saw that my punches and kicks were getting weak and she realized that I was getting tired.
Howl
She howled and they began to press harder on me.
Slash swish ... Swish slash
The sounds of their claws and my kicks filled the hall, their claws dug into my skin and I screamed as the claws kept coming. I was no longer focused enough to blast them individually, I started punching and kicking blindly because there were a lot of them and they were fast. I felt a claw slash my back while another slashed my chest. I knew if I kept on fighting blindly, I would be dead in some seconds. I focused my attention on the little energy I had and took a deep breath. I pushed all that energy into my hands and I released a blast that threw some across the hall while some were smashed to the wall.
"Dylan, are you okay?" Draco spoke to me telepathically.
I fell to my knees and closed my eyes.
"Hahahaha, I am fine." I replied back. I coughed and blood splashed on my cloth while sober ended on the floor. My body was covered in deep claws marks and I was bleeding profusely .
I looked around and saw the guards slowly standing up, they all looked as tired as I was. My gaze fell on Draco who was still in his lady's disguise. His face was full of worry and he made a move to come help me.
"No!!!! Stay back…. You will blow your cover.." I screamed at him, telepathically.
"I can't watch you get hurt…. I have to do something." Draco said with his hands clenched.
"We had a plan, let me do my part." I replied with determination. I knew that Draco was hurting, but I have to prove to him that he taught me well.
"But Dylan…."
I shut him out and slowly stood up with a sinister smile. I coughed more blood and staggered, I was tired and had no strength left in me but I was not going down without a fight.
At least not today…..
