Chapter 10 - In high Spirits again

A boy could be seen sitting on the grassy lawn with his eyes closed; an invisible presence seemed to surround his body. Like a magnet, he was attracting Prana from the surroundings. The boy, however, seemed not so happy about his progress.

The transition from observing Prana inside his body to Observing the one present in the atmosphere was way tougher than what he initially expected. Still gritting his teeth, he concentrated his focus.

Slowly, he felt like the world around him was way different than what he initially expected; it was not just air that was around him. He could feel an energy around him; It appeared like small glowing particles.

After sensing it, the next step was to absorb Prana. It required him to gather his focus. Several minutes had passed before he noticed he had attracted a Prana Particle around him. Once he got the initial success, it became easier for him to continue.

Concentrating on the presence of Prana around him, he took tiny breaths from his nose and tried to absorb Prana particles while he exhaled from his mouth. This process required a lot of mental effort, making him sweat, but he continued, unwilling to give up.

Soon, he felt some Prana particles entering his body, and with time he gathered a small amount of Prana energy in his body. This continued until he felt like he could not continue anymore. Mental exhaustion took over, and his focus was shaken.

The moment his concentration was lost, the Prana inside his body started leaking before dissipating rapidly into the surroundings. Only a minute amount of it merged with his body, and the amount of Prana in his body increased by a small amount.

A dissatisfied expression could be seen on the face of the white-haired kid. He tried to focus again by closing his eyes but found out that he could not focus again. He tried multiple times, but to no avail; he failed every time.

"Stop; you can't force it." A voice appeared from his side. He turned his neck, and his eyes fell on the muscular man before him.

"Your mental energy is depleted; overdoing will not help. You will get burnout; proper rest is required before you try it again." He added with a serious expression.

"How can I recharge my mental energy? I succeeded in sensing Prana energy. I could even absorb a small amount of it but could not stop it from leaving." He said it with an initially excited tone, which quickly turned into a disappointed one.

"You did well for the first time. It would be best if you practiced how to sense Prana repeatedly until you mastered how to do it naturally. As for your question earlier, recharging your mental energy is very easy." Hiranyaksh sat beside him.

"It is not using your brain to do something that deplets mental energy; you can recharge it through meditation and sleep. An ice bath and a walk in nature also help," he added before closing his eyes.

Small gusts appeared in the air and started approaching Hiranyaksh. Amon could feel Prana rushing to his body. He could feel a high concentration of it around Hiranyaksh. It then entered his body, leaving behind nothing.

The air became normal again as he opened his eyes. "That's how you do it. You trap it inside your body before slowly absorbing it or converting it into your own prana energy."

"Return now; don't get cocky because you can learn it faster. You need practice to master Prana; talent is not enough." He added before he left Amon alone.

Amon thought about what he had said and closed his eyes. He tried to remind himself that talent was never enough. Especially for him, who didn't have any other advantages.

"I will work harder than anyone else. Let's do as he has said. I should master how to sense Prana first; once I am confident, I will move on to control it." While he would have appreciated it if he had gotten more information,

This much was also not bad; he now knew what to do. Rest; he can learn later. This visit was already worth it, as he was able to watch how Hiranyaksh trained. He was now more motivated.

He returned to his mother, and after some time, he left his house with her. She asked him whether he was able to get some guidance from Hiranyaksh. He nodded with a smile.

No words were needed. Vallaire could read his face and figure out that her son was in high spirits again. She had seen the disappointment in his face when he was not able to improve in the past few days.

Time passed by. It had already been one week since he met with Hiranyaksh. In the past week, he has improved a lot, both physically and mentally. He has mastered the ability to sense Prana in just three days.

However, he kept training it to become faster and more fluid while sensing it. He had learned from his mother that whenever he wanted to achieve something, he should focus all his efforts on one thing.

This made him focus everything he had on Prana Sense. He could now do it with open eyes without even needing to close his eyes to focus. He followed a simple routine.

First, he did physical training; each day, he increased the intensity. He was not worried about minor injuries, as his regeneration ability had recently become way stronger.

Second, after tiring out his body, he put all his efforts into practicing Prana Sense. After finishing one set of both, he moved on to do other things and relax.

The last step was to repeat the process. He was now able to do three sets of training. Due to this, his body was transforming rapidly. His physical strength, stamina, and agility have improved a lot.

His strength was still not comparable to someone like Damien, but he had made some progress. Even when he had not improved much physically, he was not disappointed, as he had significantly improved his ability to sense Prana.

He was finally ready to move on to the next step of the Basic Prana abilities, Prana Control. What was left now was to control the Prana inside his body and stop it from leaving his body.

This sounded easy, but he knew how hard it was. It took him three days before he succeeded.
