Lucien made a face and pouted, "I was really enjoying your company."
She sighed, unsure of what to say. She did not want to go back either, she wanted to stay with him and walk to whatever lengths he wanted to.
"Hey," Lucien took her hands when he noticed the change in her mood. "Did I say something wrong?" he frowned slightly.
She shook her head, "it's just that," she paused, unsure of what she wanted to say.
"Just that what?" he asked pulling her closer. Her jasmine fragrance filled his long and fogged his mind. He wanted to pull her closer, to inhale the scent of her black hair. Did it also smell of Jasmine? He wondered.
He lifted her chin so that he could have a better look at her face. "Lev?"
Just then a twig snapped behind them, and they jumped apart, startled.
"What are you doing here?" Lucien growled.
"Well now, what do we have here?" Zarek grinned, staring from Levina to Lucien and back to Levina.
