Once the toll was paid the three entered the city, the overwhelming shock came over the trio as they were now able to see the city. It was massive, with Tons of people, buildings, and shops everywhere. Jason was also shocked to see massive windows and sculptures, the walk started to feel like an adventure as new things were being pointed out or noticed. An hour passes with the trio just exploring the city. This city had its own currency; they had different metal coins to represent the different values. From lowest value to highest, it consisted of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and finally Mythril. Jason is curious as to what Mythril is but due to it making the city most valued currency, he assumes it's both extremely pricey and rare. Trying to locate an in the trio finds a trade stall. These stalls are positioned randomly throughout the city, they are used to bring goods and exchange them for money. Obviously, some shops will buy their own materials but the trade stalls were just an easy way to get rid of things. Grace ends up handing over about fifty honey bottles from her inventory. They trade it for two gold coins and fifteen bronze ones. Apparently, as Gracie explained the honey has a bit of magic in it to help boost energy and health so that was why they were able to get as much for it as they did.
'How many of those did you bring" Zachary jokes to Gracie "We could live like royalty if we produced enough" he finishes while laughing. Zachary knows how she is with honey and is teasing her for giving up fifty bottles. "Don't even think about it" Gracie pouts and lands on Jason's shoulder. Eventually, they are able to find an Inn so the three walk in to reserve a room. The Inn ends up being paced with only one vacant room left. Gracie is beyond tired so she puts five bronze coins on the counter. "We can just take the room," she says before being handed a key. None of them had gotten a peaceful night's sleep in the last two weeks. The moment they entered the room Jason and Zachary jumped into the bed. Gracie ends up making a bed out of things in her inventory on the night table. Not too long after they entered, all three of them passed out enjoying the safety of being in a city. They didn't face many challenges but while traveling one must always stay on guard which is extremely draining.
Ending up sleeping through half of the next day Jason is the first awake. He sits up stretching a bit trying to get the tiredness away from him. Accidentally he ends up pushing Zachary off the bed. This causes Zachary to wake up in a panic as he tries to catch himself but is unable to in time. "My bad" Jason laughs at seeing a half away Zachary sitting on the floor. Offering Zachary his hand he helped the other guy back onto the bed. "Well, that's one way to be woken up" Zachary semi-glares at Jason before laughing at himself. The commotion the two guys have been making was enough to snap Gracie awake. "Won't you guys be quiet?" She says while starting to get up. After those three get up for the day they head out of their room to go downstairs and order food. They find an empty clean table over in the back so they choose to sit there. The waitress comes over shortly after seeing the three take their seats. "What may I get any of you today?" she asks politely. A short explanation of the day's specials: they all decided to get the daily roast. Random monsters would be roasted up so it was cheaper than the other special but the three have also started developing a taste for the different monsters and wanted to try more.
The waitress heads back into the kitchen to place their orders. The group ends up chatting for a bit before their food arrives. They all said how much better nights of sleep they had gotten. "Do you think there would be somewhere to train here?" Jason asked the other two "I would assume so due to the size of the city and how many people here must have some type of skill" Zachary answers him. As the food starts to be brought out Jason decides to find the closest training area. He had practiced a bit on their journey but not enough to make any difference. Jason wanted to try and make his magic stronger. To do this he will have to practice for a while. Zachary, unwilling to wait, starts to dig into the food in front of him. Jason, once he gets his food does the same. They are not told what type of meat they were given but it was enough to fill them. The usual short burst of energy hits them as they are eating. About half an hour passed and all the food had been wiped from the table and the three are relaxing on their seats with their stomachs full.
Gracie once again pays before they are off again. Zachary and Gracie just want to explore more of the city, and Jason on the other hand has become determined to find a training ground. The three are enjoying their mini tour when a loud boom could be heard from the other side of the city. Gaining their attention the three notice the heavy clouds of smoke rising from the direction the sound came a moment before. Without thinking Jason starts sprinting toward it. With a mix of wanting to be a hero and curious he continues running ignoring the calls coming behind him. Zachary and Gracie had to start running as well. The city was huge and they didn't want Jason to get lost so they tried to keep him in their sight. They weren't able to catch up to him though they were surprised by how fast Jason could run.
Eventually, Jason arrives at what he assumes was the scene of the crime. The surrounding buildings were completely on fire and he could hear people's screams for help inside them. Unable to see what caused the explosion he begins to do the only thing he could think of, create a thunderstorm. Before he was transferred here storms on earth were usually caused by differences between cold and hot air. Using this as a basis he decided to mix water wind and fire manipulation. He closes his eyes and begins imagining the eyes of a storm, once he gets it he started building it out from there. Jason could feel himself getting tired by the second but he kept it up. Soon massive clouds begin to gather before a light sprinkle starts to come down. Knowing it's not enough Jason focuses more and the rain gets heavier. Eventually, it's downpouring and the surrounding fires are dying out. By the time the last fire was put out Zachary and Gracie had caught up to Jason. Once he was done casting the spell Jason fainted due to using too much of his mana. The only reason Jason was able to pull off this was due to the fact he combined three elemental magics and had his adrenaline rushing. This was the factor that gave Jason the extra strength he needed. Looking around Gracie is in complete shock she is aware Jason is the one who brought the storm but she couldn't believe he was able to. Without needing to be told Zachary picks JAson up off the ground and the two begin their walk back to the Inn. Gracie and Zachary were totally unaware of what caused the fire as well but are relieved that Jason is safe. Once back in their room, Zachary sets Jason on the bed. He is a bit worried due to not knowing when Jason would wake back up.
