As the three men start approaching the bed Gracie makes her move. She uses her Wind magic to send a powerful air current their way sending them crashing into the wall behind them. The noise this made woke up to the previously sleepy guys. "What's going on, I'm trying to sleep '' Zachary groans. "Damnnit they're awake," the older man says "get them now fools" he yells out. Jason now a bit ticked off starts thinking of ways to stop the attackers. After a moment he looks over at Gracie "Follow my lead I'll take two" he says half asleep. He closes his eyes and focuses on the two closet men coming at him. Suddenly the men who were running just moments ago fall onto their faces as their legs were bound by invisible bonds of wind. Not satisfied he finishes his concentration by restraining the two men's hands with more wind bonds. Once Gracie got what Jason was talking about she copied him on the other two reaming guys. Utterly speechless the four men lie helpless on the floor. "W-What kind of power is this," One of the younger men asks scared. "You stupid brat, these idiots can control the wind!" The older man hisses in response. "Ok both of you shut up before I throw you out the window" Zacharay groans once again "Thanks I have a migraine now," he says before laying down and trying to fall asleep once again. Leaving the other two to deal with this mess, Gracie looks at Jason confused as to what to do next.
"First why are you in our room trying to kill us," Jason asks the four men on the floor. "Like we'd answer to someone like you" The old man scoffs, a bit too eagerly Jason's personality flips drastically. "Well perfect then I guess I'm going to have to make you talk" Jason starts "Which one do you want first? Because you were only a fourth right when you said we can control the wind" he finishes off his sentence with an eerily happy smile. The young man laying on the floor is now utterly terrified of what they had gotten themselves into. "We work for the Unity" the young man squeals out getting glares from his surrounding companions "Ok what is this Unity thingy" Gracie chimes in snapping out of her initial fear trance Jason had instilled her in. The young man once again says "We believe in reuniting all of the races into a single world once again that is the Unity movement" this gets shocked expressions from both Jason and Gracie "how are you planning on doing this aren't the races living in different worlds already" Jason asks. "Well only the higher-ups know anything about the unification plans….." the young man admits "you still never answered why you tried to kill us" Gracie informs the young man before lighting the tip of her finger on fire. "I'm sorry ma'am" He squeals in fear "You stopped some stronger squad of ours earlier this month when you solved the explosion rather quickly" he looks up to see if this is enough earning a glare from both of the two. "Somehow you ruined the higher-ups in our group's plans and they wanted you dead before trying again, that's why we're here" he cries out. Obviously, this boy was new to the job, or else he would have been more composed like the others Jason thought.
"Is there some sort of jail in this city?" Jason asks Gracie, "I don't believe so but I'm not sure" She replies. The young man blurts out hoping to earn some mercy "the city believes in respecting the decisions of the victims so whatever you do in response to the crime is justified" he informs the two. "Well, that's lovely" Jason grinned before pulling up his status screen and checking on the skill section briefly. He is reminded of these two skills, Soul Storage and Soul contract. A wonderful idea starts forming in his mind, He clicks on the Soul Storage skill to find 1,321 souls stored. Shocked he realized the monsters in the dungeon must count toward the soul count. This confuses him as the monsters spawn and are made up of energy so he ends up assuming that the energy of the monster is what is absorbed. Seeing his soul count makes him kind of eager to check the loot in his inventory from their escapade from before. "Gracie you said anything under a person's ownership can go into their inventory correct?" Jason calmly asks to get a confused nod in response. "Ok great so listen up you four, You're going to become my lovely obedient servants ok!" the evil grins at the four. "As I'd listen to you I'd rather die" the older man yells out once again "So you don't have a choice you see…." Jason starts activating his Soul Contact skill. Thinking about it was enough to make a screen appear in front of Jason. "Soul contract" was written in big letters on the top, looking over the rest of the screen Jason found out that he was able to control quite a bit of the contact. He has the choice between making the contract forced upon a person or by making a lesser contract a temporary alliance or transaction can occur. Once Jason thinks about who he wants to be affected the screen starts auto-filling in the information. Jason also makes the terms in the contract steep. These four men are going to be forced to do as Jason commands for the rest of Jason's existence basically.
He quickly finishes up adding what he wants to the contract before deciding it was ready. The screen switched and now read "Are you sure you want to spend 1,200 souls to enforce these contracts?". After selecting yes a golden light enveloped the four men and Jason. This shocked Gracie and also caused her to look away due to the brightness. Jason didn't see the light but once the screen disappears he knows it has worked. "Ok from now on I am your Lord" Jason informs the four "I like the sound of that," he says chuckling to himself. "What did you just do to us," The once angry and aggressive older man said in a calm tone. "Simply put I made you mine" Jason responds smiling before reaching out his hand and pulling three of the guys into his inventory, he left out the younger man that was talking due to not knowing what was going to happen to those in the inventory. After Jason took them in he opened his inventory screen to find something odd, he found three coins with a human-like head and an almost rainbow crystal appearance to them. Tapping on them a description appears "Human token" upon seeing this he calls for one of the coins out of his inventory. Once into the world, the coin was back to the human man once again "That's neat" Jason remarked before pulling the two men back into his inventory. Gracie watched this experience in disbelief, there hasn't been at least not one that she knew about someone to take living creatures into the inventory. Smaller creatures maybe but definitely no people. Semi-relieved she decides to forget about this encounter and flies back to her nightstand bed. Jason also climbs into his bed. This ordeal has caused a slight hiccup in the three's original plans. Now overly tired the three return back to sleep.
