The next morning Gracie is the first on up. She gets herself ready quickly before waking up the other two. "It's time to head out," She says to the two half-asleep guys. This was enough motivation for the two to snap out of it. Jason pulls out a couple of snacks from his inventory. "Well eat up we don't want to enter the Dungeon on an empty stomach" Jason reminds the two while tossing them each some food. Quickly finishing eating the three had left their room and made their way to the Adventures Association. Jason needs his ID before they can enter the dungeon. As the trio is entering the Association they notice a group getting loud with one of the receptionists, however, they ignore it making their way to one of the free stalls. "Hello, how can I help you today? '' the guy behind the counter asked, "We just need an Adventurer ID for our friend here," Gracie says while landing on Jason's shoulder. "Ok, just a moment," the man says before pulling out a crystal pillar about a foot long and an ID card. The best Jason could guess was it looked like quartz but he wasn't sure. "First put your hand on top of the crystal," The receptionist said after placing the crystal on top of the card. Jason does as he is instructed, and a brilliant glow emanates out of the crystal blinding the four briefly before fading away. A bit shocked the receptionist snaps out of it "Ok you can remove your hand now" The previous light hadn't been as bright for anyone before so the receptionist a bit curious looks at the ID card finding nothing too bizarre. He handed it to Jason before the three thanked him and left.
Jason looks at his newly acquired ID card, he is a bit shocked to find it oddly similar to his status screen. The only difference is that the ID card only gives the Stats and the level of the person leaving out the skills and other information the status screen allows. A bit relieved Jason follows the other two out of the Association, they are heading to the dungeon which was located opposite the Association. They get in line for the Dungeon, apparently, the crystal that houses the dungeon makes different instances for each party, and due to this, it causes a bit of a backflow as multiple parties had to wait. After a short wait, the three are next in line to enter, The woman in charge of the dungeon inspects their ID cards and then instructs them to wait until the crystal turns clear before each putting a hand onto it. Gathering around the crystal the three are in awe of its beauty of it. It was a perfectly clear sphere, however, there was some fog or creamy liquid currently inside it. Eventually, the crystal turned completely clear so they put their hands on it. They are surprised when they are sucked into the crystal. There is extreme darkness before the three land on the floor of a cave.
"Ow, that hurt," Jason said as he landed on his back. Gracie can fly so the moment she appeared she flew and was ok, Zachary was able to land on his feet so he chuckled at Jason's misfortune. "Well get up we have exploring to do," Zachary says, unable to contain his excitement. This was the first time for any of them to be in a dungeon. Looking around Jason could see however it seemed as though they were deep underground. "Ok well first Gracie stays look out your small enough most things shouldn't notice you or you would be fast enough to get away" Jason starts instructing "Zachary you lead the front and I will take the back" The three nod as Jason had seemed to come up with an efficient plan. "Perfect I'll get the first chance at all the monsters," Zachary says now more excited than previously. Getting up and stretching a bit Jason tells the others he's ready if they were, which causes Zachary and Gracie to start heading into the dungeon.
It doesn't take long before Gracie alerts the two that some Earth Lizard things have started coming out of the walls ahead. Zachary changing forward finally gets to see one. For the First time, Jason sees the Fire on Zachary's head start to grow and become more volatile. Before long a fiery aura surrounds Zachary before he starts fighting the lizards. Jason is highly impressed as at the moment Zachary looked like an unrivaled force of nature. Snapping out of his awe Jason sees a group of three lizards on the ceiling about to jump at Zachary. Without wasting time Jason launches two of the wind balls he used while fighting the goblins. The two that were hit explode but the third jumped away and appeared informed of Jason. Apparently, he'd angered it, Jason quickly fires another wind sphere at it as it lunges at him. The two meet each other in a violent clash causing the explosion of the lizard. Zachary had finished off the other seven before releasing his fire aura. "That was awesome!" He yells running back to Jason, Gracie has already landed on Jason's shoulder. "It was fun but you need to pay more attention three of those lizards almost got you" Jason nags "But you didn't let that happen, that's why we were taking the dungeon together" Zachary explains using his logic. "Well I'll try and keep you covered just to make sure to keep your guard up," Jason says right before the monster carcass starts turning to ash. In the center of the ash pile was the monster's loot drops the trio found.
After collecting their loot the three proceed a bit deeper into the dungeon. They ran into these earth lizards a few more times. Their weakness appeared to be fire so Zachary was able to easily dispatch most of them. Eventually, the three come across a staircase, As they approach it the temperature suddenly starts increasing. "Zachary, are you doing that?" Jason asks "Doing what?" Zachary says looking confused "Increasing the temperature," Gracie says practically sweating. "No, but I do feel more comfortable so it has probably risen a bit," Zachary says before looking around a bit nervously. Suddenly two larger Fire Spirits appeared guarding the entrance to the stairs. "Well I guess we got our answer," Jason says before starting to focus, He knows this situation is a bit dangerous so he starts forming two water balls. Zachary started to engage the two Fire Spirits but his attacks seemed to have no effect on them. "Um, guys a little help here," Zachary says while dodging the onslaught of attacks coming toward him.
"I'll buy you time, don't overdo it but make sure to make it strong enough" Gracie tries to tell Jason before she flies away to help Zachary. Gracie starts producing smaller balls of water and launches them at the two Spirits. These attacks show effect and start to hurt them, Switching their focus to the more dangerous threat the Fire Spirits start directing their fire at Gracie. Flying around dodging she continues her attacks a bit slower than before due to the threat of the fire being launched at her. Zachary, a bit defeated, continues trying anything in his arsenal to afflict damage to no result. "I'm out of mana!" Gracie yells as she's flying, her water attack coming to a halt. Using the little time he had left Jason starts spinning the two huge spheres of water he had accumulated. Knowing this might be their last attempt at survival Jason uses a bit of his Wind magic to cause the water to spin faster. Once it reaches the desired speed he yells at the other two "Get out of the way!". Gracie flies as fast as she could getting behind Jason and Zachary launches himself into the air using his fire to get out of the way. Jason releases the two spiraling water balls at the Fire Spirits, They try to launch fire at it to evaporate it but there was too much water, The balls enveloped the two Fire Spirits putting out all of their surrounding fire. Not long after the force of the water was enough to put an end to them.
"I think we need to head back out" Jason manages to say in between heavy breaths. "I agree I can't cast anything else to be useful anyway" Gracie agrees. The three collect their hard-earned loot from the fire elementals before heading back in the direction they came. Lucky Zachary had a bit of energy left because the Earth lizards appeared a couple more times. Jason was able to help dispatch about six of them before his mana was also out. Through sheer force, Zachary was able to eliminate all the Lizards from that point onward. Once they reached the entrance they noticed a black crystal embedded into the wall behind where they were teleported into. "Well, I guess we touch this to leave?" Jason asks the other two as they shrug in response. Jason taking a breath decides to go first and puts his hand onto the black crystal. The moment his hand lands on it the same sensation as when they entered comes over Jason. The next second he's standing off to the side of the dungeon entrance.
