They ended up spending roughly five hours fighting on the first level of the dungeon. Multiple times they came to the staircase for the next level and fought the Fire Spirits guardian there. Since they have already been on this floor and fought them before the monster posed no real threat to their health. However one slips up and even with the lowly monsters they are facing can easily have the chance to kill. Each time they faced the Fire Spirits it became a bit easier after adapting their previous distraction and water attack tactic. There was still the catch they needed to recover after each fight with them, which put them at a disadvantage when other monsters spawned. After the five-hour mark, the group decided that was all they were able to withstand for the day. They were only fighting on the first floor but they were trying to get used to their new gears as well as hopping from one fight to the next to build their endurance. Making their way to enter the three notice that there are four weird holes around the black crystal but ultimately ignore them, placing their hands on the crystal to escape.
Once arriving near the dungeon entrance the three start their trek to the Inn. They are all overwhelmingly tired and they desperately need to eat, sleep, and shower. The trio reach their Inn and walk over to the bathhouse situated next to it. After fighting in the Dungeon for so long the trio had been drenched in sweat and dirt. They decide to each shower quickly and then to meet in the hot bubble bath to relax after a long period of exercise. Jason is the first to clean himself up and reach the bubble bath. It is a circular pond of water that has some enchantments on the floor of it. The bubbles seem to be coming from some of these enchantments others seemed to feel like they were warming the surrounding water. Sitting down the bubbles reached his chest, and the warm water fully relaxed his body. "Dang it, you beat me!" Gracie flies in pouting. Jason turns away as she throws her towel to the side and flies into the bubbles. Once she finds an area in the bubbles that's both comfortable and properly hidden she calmly says "This is incredible it feels like a cloud" Jason laughs at her before tossing a pile of bubbles toward her. This causes her to be buried under them and forced to find a new spot "That wasn't fun" She says glaring at him once she situated herself once again Zachary now finished has walked into the area. Jason is utterly shocked by Zachary's appearance, he already knew that Zachary was muscular but what shocked him was Zachary's hair. No longer did it have the usual flames, now it was just auburn red normal hair. Seeing Jason staring at him Zachary laughs.
"Like my hair or something," he says before jumping into the bath. The other two had turned away to let him ditch his towel. "Just shocked I've only seen your fiery hair," Jason says, throwing more of the bubbles at Zachary. Hitting them out of the air he responds "True my hair is naturally the fire but if exposed to water turns into this" He finishes by shaking his head and throwing his hair everywhere. "That's a neat party trick," Jason says smiling, the three relax in the bath for about thirty minutes before their hunger forces them out. Once dried and dressed they make their way to their usual seat at the Inn. Today's specials included many of the local monsters, Such as dark sparrows, a type of water eel, and a Fire lizard. After a brief discussion, it's decided the three will each order one of them and they will share. "I was thinking of hitting the dungeon's first floor solo tomorrow if that was ok" Zachary suddenly says. The other two shocked looks at each other before shrugging "I kinda wanna do the same thing" Jason admits " While I'm gonna take tomorrow to relax" Gracie says happily "Just remember to take it easy and safe since you don't have anyone watching your backs" she says to the two guys as their food starts to be brought to them.
Digging into their food none of them notice the four people sitting opposite the room from them. Nothing this group had done so far has been suspicious however they clearly keep looking and checking in on the trio and their meal progress. The three dishes the trio got weren't anything special, the fire lizard tasted the newest due to its toughness and spiciness but the other two tasted almost normal to their dismay. Eventually, they are finished eating so they pay and make their way to their rooms. One of the guys from the group of four stands shortly after to follow them. Once seeing which room they went into the guy returns back to his original group. Zachary is the first in the room and the first to jump onto the bed, his hair now returned to its normal fiery state and in a mess over his face. Gracie upon entering the room pulls out a couple of flower planters with different flowers in them. Setting them on the window still, she begins treating and taking care of them. "You can put plants in your inventory?" Jason asks after seeing her pull them out. "Well yeah as long as the object is non-sentient, or under your ownership, it can be placed in your inventory" She replies not looking away from her flowers.
Jason, happy to find out the new information, hops onto the bed next to Zachary. The two begin discussing their plans for the next day's dungeon raids. "Well as long as we don't fight those flame spirits I think we'll be fine" Jason responds to one of Zachary's questions. It is now the middle of the night and the three have been absorbed into their own worlds. Eventually, the brief spurt of energy they received after dinner begins to wear away and they are left fast asleep shortly after. The three are unaware due to being asleep but their door handle begins glowing briefly before the party from the Inn enters the room shutting the door behind them. "So these are the three that stopped our plans a little bit ago?" one of the older guys asks, "yes that one is the one who cast the spell and the other two seem to be his party" another man quietly replies. Gracie being a light sleeper has started to grow aware of the trio's situation. "Perfect we can get rid of them now and carry on with them," The original older man says, gesturing his hand indicating the other three to move.
