A couple of seconds pass and Jason is left standing alone near the entrance before his two companions materialize behind him. It was about Mid-Day so the three decided to freshen up a bit, check their loot, sell their loot, then try to find more information on the dungeon. It didn't occur to any of the three that there might be useful common knowledge to know before their first adventure, After the encounter with the Flame Spirits they realize that they need proper intel before rushing into danger. The three make their way to the Inn needing to wash up and eat. There is an enchanted bathhouse right next to the Inn that the three were previously unaware of. For a small fee of 10 bronze coins per person, one can enjoy warm or cold baths, some even having bubbles. They also had spigots in the walls that were enchanted with water magic. If someone wanted to use these they had to infuse mana into the enchantment to create the water flow. These are arranged one wall has warm showers and another has a cold. After a brief bit of exploration and then the enjoyment of the bath the three get themselves washed up and back to the Inn. The Inn was the easiest way to obtain food at the moment and no one wanted to put forth any extra work at the moment.
As usual, the three found their table in the back and ordered the random monster special. They couldn't know normally what type of monster they were eating but all three have grown accustomed to the unique sensations that are brought by eating the meat. Jason curious asks the waitress "Do you by chance know where you can get maps or other information about the two dungeons?" hopeful he waits for her response. "Um…. You can normally get those at the Associations for cheap or look for an Information Guild building. They focus on a lot more than just dungeons but they are the most reliable for anything to do with information" The waitress explains after a moment of thinking. The three thank her before she runs off to place their order. "So ask when we go to sell the loot?" Zachary suggests and also chooses for them "Sounds good to me" Jason content if they could just get a map or some spawn list. He wasn't sure what the Association could offer but puts it out of his mind as soon the waitress appears again bringing with her the three orders. Like a pack of wolves the three dig into the meal. They were extra hungry due to fatigue built up fighting and using magic constantly.
After Finishing up and paying for the meal they decided the first stop on their errands would be the Association. Before leaving the Inn the three had gone over their loot drops, they got 12 lizard hides, 15 lizard eyes, 25 lizard claws, and 2 medium-grade fire crystals. Excited with their haul they head out to the Association to sell their goods. Once they get to the entrance of the Association building they see some adventures starting to make a scene in front of the dungeon. They overhear something about not having an ID card so the three pass it up and head inside. Making their way over to the previous stall the same man greets them "Hello again how may I help you?". "Firstly we would like to sell this loot" Jason replies before pulling a hyde out of his inventory. "Sure thing just give me what you're willing to part with," The receptionist says graciously, Jason following his orders starts putting the loot onto the counter. The receptionist is shocked once again when Jason pulls out the two Fire crystals. Unknowingly the three had taken down a pretty tough opponent, These crystals were worth a lot due to their rarity and the fact anyone using one can raise their Fire magic's strength. Different forms of these crystals appear even in some augmenting stats but due to the benefits, they are rarely sold. "Are you sure you want to sell these?" The receptionist asked eagerly after explaining. He gets a portion of any profit from transactions so getting these crystals from him would help him out. "Sure why not," Jason says and almost instantly the receptionist takes the loot into his inventory. Checking how much each was before calculating how much to give the trio. For the normal loot, the group got eighteen silvers, and the two fire crystals sold for five gold coins each. Jason still doesn't fully understand the currency but knows they have a decent amount of money now.
"Thank you, the next thing we need is any information or maps you have on the two dungeons," Jason tells the receptionist. "Ok, we have two fully detailed maps as well as listings on them for which monsters could be found in which area" He answers while pulling out two big sheets of paper "For both, they are six silvers" the receptionist finishes speaking. Jason tosses the coins they just received back to the receptionist before taking the two maps into his inventory. The three thank the receptionist for his service before leaving the building. Making their way to one of the side streets they start to browse at the stalls. The items needed for the following day were obtained so it was relaxation time. Also looking at the gears the three decided to invest some money into them. Spending about two hours looking before Jason finds a metal retractable staff for sale. A strange urge forced him to buy it, Luckily it only cost 12 bronze coins so it was practically a steal for them at the moment. While Jason Is checking out the new staff Gracie finds a set of throwing knives. They were made out of the same dark metal that Jason's staff was, and Gracie decides to get them thinking they would work perfectly with her wind magic. Zachary ends up feeling a bit let down as they make their way back to the Inn. The sun had started going down and he hadn't found anything he wanted for the dungeon. Once they return to their room Jason spends some time trying to get used to the weight and speed of the Staff. It's about a foot-long full compress but stretches out to around six feet once activated. The metal is a bit heavier but also once in movement adds more force behind it.
Gracie slowly tries to move her throwing knives, she's able to float them slowly around the room at first but due to her anxiousness, she soon stops her practicing due to not wanting to accidentally send one flying off and hurt someone. Soon after she stops Jason also decides to call it quits for the night. They all are exhausted and need rest as they were planning to start raiding the dungeon daily. Climbing into bed Jason found Zachary already passed out because they were focusing on their mini-training sessions and neither noticed him sleeping there. Gracie also lands on her nightstand bed, it doesn't take long after the light goes out that all three are sound asleep. Also unknowing at the time Jason ended up cuddling closer to Zachary due to how warm his body was. The heat Zachary emitted was like a warming blanket which in turn relaxed Jason. The three end up sleeping in a bit later than planned, waking up around three hours after the Sun had risen.
