Chereads / How To Break The Werewolf's Heart / Chapter 2 - Escaping The Castle

Chapter 2 - Escaping The Castle

"Where is Renesmee?"

"She gone and that woman must be the cause."

The person turned to look at the blonde woman who was on the marble floor. He had just thought that the woman was a vampire who had sneaked into the castle. Just look at her pale white porclain skin, the skin of a vampire. But when his nose started to sniff, he knew she wasn't a vampire.

This blonde didn't stink like a vampire. In fact, the scent is a little enticing. This female pheromone tastes cold and sweet, like the scent of snow.

There was a golden glint as the woman blinked her eyes. Captivating! Those eyes stared at him boldly, not seeming to waver in the slightest. Even though she had just dodged Vincent's attack.

"Get out of the way, Noah, I'm going to finish that woman off." Vincent warned his subordinates.

Oh? No, no. Noah could almost feel the imprint with this blonde. This woman cannot be killed. Noah was about to react too late when Vincent swung his muzzle to grab Alice.

"Argh… calm down. She might be able to give a good explanation about Nessy." Noah held Vincent's jaw with both hands.

"She said she didn't know. I don't need to hear anything else from her.." The big wolf swung Noah's human body with ease.

Alice was already on her feet when Noah was thrown to the side of the room. "You should listen to the big bad wolf," the woman said. She didn't look scared at all.

Vincent concentrated on her again. He opened his mouth wide to bite the arrogant woman.

The nimble Alice took a chair by the dressing table and threw it into Vincent's mouth. The chair held Vincent's jaw for a few seconds before it finally shattered into pieces.

Alice was already running towards Noah. She was crazy enough to think she could escape with that man. Noah was actually unharmed, being thrown by Vincent was nothing to him but when the woman came close to him and moved to support him he was silent and went along.

The cold scent and feeling grew stronger as Alice slung Noah over her little shoulder. She does look small but her strength is arguably not in accordance with her body. Alice was able to lift Noah in one fell swoop.

Noah was surprised as he rose to his feet with the support of the woman's strength.

Vincent roars angrily at Alice and Noah. "Don't think you can get away from me."

"We'll know when I try." Alice replied to Vincent.

It was increasingly seen by Noah. If the woman were only human, she wouldn't understand the meaning of Vincent's roar or even know that he was speaking when he roared, but this woman even replied as if she understood what Vincent was saying in wolf form.

Who is this woman?

Vincent jumps up to lunge at Alice and Noah. He no longer cared that Noah should be on his side, one of his packs. All he wanted now was to smash that woman to pieces.

Alice brought Noah down and stepped forward to avoid Vincent. Her movements were quite agile even though Noah was weighing her down like an idiot. Amazed by what the woman did.

Vincent had to turn around because Alice and Noah were now behind him. He would not be deceived in the same way.

This time Alice did not move her head down and went forward. She moved aside. Apparently the exit was right next to her

This woman might really get away with Vincent, Noah thought as Alice stumbled along dragging him down the hall.

"Did you break your leg? Otherwise, please use them, or one of those. I'd be very grateful." Alice slightly complained that Noah wasn't using his legs at all, making Alice's journey even more difficult.

Alice didn't turn her head, she knew the big black wolf wasn't far behind her and was getting closer. She had also known from the start that taking Noah with her would only be a burden that hindered her steps, but she still supported the man.

There is a staircase going down at the end of the hall. Going down the stairs with Noah with her was akin to suicide. There were many steps down. Alice might run out of steam, she could take Noah down.

Alice used her wits quickly. She glanced at a large shield mounted on the wall. Lowers the shield, turning it into a kind of surfboard to ride with Noah.

Alice and Noah occupied the overturned shields and slid down the stairs.

"Aaaa…" Noah screamed, never expecting the sensation of sliding to be like this.

Vincent emerged from the hallway. With his large and agile body, Vincent's big wolf jumped and landed directly on the floor under the stairs. Waiting for Alice and Noah to slide down towards him.

Noah closed his eyes, not wanting to see himself end in Vincent's mouth. Just then, Alice swung her body and made the sled shield swerve past Vincent. They were flung far enough to reach the exit on the right wing of the castle.

Again the blonde woman managed to avoid Vincent. The black wolf made a long roar like making a call.

Alice pulled Noah once more and ran out of the castle.

Unfortunately the wolves were already standing outside. Surrounding Alice and Noah from all sides.

Godness! Alice couldn't think of a way out. There were too many wolves for her to pass. They roared in unison and advanced to pounce on Alice.

"My friend, wait a minute!!!" Noah broke free from Alice and walked in front of the wolves. He raised both hands, warning the wolves not to move forward.

They should have known who Noah was, his position and strength in this pack, but it was Vincent who had just made the order. Vincent is their leader. So the wolves kept to their original orders to catch the blonde woman behind Noah.

A wolf came forward and tried to pounce on Noah. However he can easily caught it with his bare hands and threw the wolf at the other wolves.

"Wow? Great!" Alice said in a half-whispered voice.

Noah's hearing was sharp enough to hear the blonde praise him. He turned and winked at Alice while punching another wolf without seeing his opponent.

"Excellent," Alice added her compliment. "Shouldn't you be hurting?"

Alice suddenly felt like an idiot. She used up all her strength to drag Noah from upstairs when he could probably run outside on his own feet.

[Remind me to punch the guy after we manage to escape this castle!]
