The night was tough for Audrey, however someone else was thoroughly confused. Audrey's smile had given Lucas that much satisfaction, like he wanted to be the reason for it, to be the only one one to watch how her cheek bones go up, and how the slight gap on her upper tooth is exposed.
The thought alone was satisfaction, like the early rays of the sun, however it wasn't that the smile alone was beautiful, it was the fact that Lucas didn't understand why the smile meant that much to him. 'Why did it even have this much effect on me!!', lucas thought as he drove back home.

Prisca had come to check on Audrey the day after the event, just to know how her friend was doing, she wished she stayed the night, but she had to check on her mother.
However, Prisca brought soup for Audrey, just so she could feel better. The surprise she met at the door almost caused her to choke on her own saliva. It was an eviction notice on Audrey's apartment door,'did Audrey see this and ignore this?', Prisca thought.
In truth, the eviction notice was there since the night before, and surprisingly it was on every other door in the house. Audrey didn't see it partly because it was dark and she was so sad from the events of the banquet.
Prisca knocked a few times before she was met with a dishhelved Audrey, her hair looked like a bird's nest, it seemed that she had just woken up, 'poor girl!', Prisca thought.
"Audrey, what's this about?", Prisca asked pointing towards the eviction notice, " ohhh, I have to start looking for another apartment, the whole building Is going to be renovated into an office".
"Ohhh, you better start finding places soon", prisca said entering her apartment. " yeah, maybe one day when I don't have any work!", Audrey said closing the door after Prisca entered.
"I brought some soup, it's two servings, just remember to keep it in the freezer, so it wouldn't go bad!", Prisca said dropping the soup on the dining table. " ohh Prisca", Audrey said, before she continued, "I was craving that!, did you read my mind!", Audrey said feeling better already.
" so, how are you feeling now?, you want to talk about it?", Prisca said. Audrey sighed ready to talk about how she was feeling, "it's crazy how a year ago, my family was complete, and now it's just me. I feel really sad that I'm all alone, but it already happened, so I just have to deal with it. I really want to go back to school, maybe I can do that now that I won't be bothered by anything!".
" It's okay to be scared Audrey, you'll get past this, I know it!!", Prisca said wrapping Audrey in a hug.
Prisca offered to take Audrey out, so Audrey had her bath and cleaned her apartment, then they both had the chicken soup, and they went out. Audrey had a lot of fun that day, but that didn't change the fact that she had bills to pay.
