The piling up work had awaited Daffa in his office. Today his mood is very messy. His wife's expression of apology only reduced the slight mess in his head. Don't let anyone dare to mess with Daffa today because he could pounce on that person.
The phone in Daffa's room rang. He then picked it up.
"Morning, Mr. Daffa. Mr. Hasimada of Tatarin Corporation resigned to invest his shares in us because he had contracted with another company."
Daffa snorted with heavy breathing.
"It's, Ok. "
The phone shut down without saying anything else.
The man leaned his body on the chair he was sitting on by looking his head up. He was inexhaustible with everything that had happened. The quarrel with his wife that night made him unable to sleep well for days. Daffa's emotions peaked when Fera hadn't finished their café's financial statements. Not his intention to govern, but this was a choice his wife took when Daffa had already given Fera another option to consider. Daffa knew that if it happened, Fera would be overwhelmed taking care of everything alone.
At home, Daffa also doesn't just let Fera take care of her children. Sometimes, Daffa helps him or does other household chores while he is off work. According to him, as long as he can do that, he'll help Fera. So it's only natural that Daffa feels down about this issue because this is the first time they've been beaten to the point of not being reprimanded like a cold war.
Suddenly he remembered that he was not replying to his wife's message yet.
'Yes.' The reply was short. Then, he kept his cellphone back on the table a little tricky until it made a sound.
After replying to his wife's message, Daffa went to the pantry as Farhan advised. But, Like, he did need a glass of coffee to disappear the fatigue in his head. While making coffee, the door behind him opened, indicating someone had entered the pantry.
"Arrghhh, hot!" shouted Daffa spontaneously. Someone nudged half of his back from behind and spilt hot liquid.
"So-sorry, sir. I wasn't on purpose," the girl said as she picked up a rag and tried to dry Daffa's suit that had been hit by the coffee spill she was carrying.
"Are you blind?!" growled Daffa as he opened his suit jacket.
"I'm sorry, Sir."
The girl just lowered her head. Looking at her appearance, wearing a white shirt suit and black pants, and her hair neatly tied up, it seems that the girl is a new employee in the office who is on probation to become an office girl. The girl is looking for death with Daffa, whose day is terrible at the moment.
"Calm down, Daf. She's new here." Farhan suddenly came over to Daffa, whose screaming voice could be heard out of the room.
"Oh. You're a new employee, aren't you? Your probation is up today, and you can go home without coming here again!"
Daffa's usually friendly nature, never getting angry, especially in public places, seems to have changed instantly today.
"Daf, can you calm down first, can't you? Shame outside on people who are looking at you! You've never been like this before, have you?!" protested Farhan.
"But this new kid...."
Not finished with Daffa's talk, Farhan invited her to leave the pantry and head for her room forcibly.
"Your name is Karin. Don't go anywhere. Wait here," Farhan told the girl.
Arriving in the room, Daffa puts an annoyed face on Farhan and vice versa.
"You crazy? Dude, it's awful," Farhan protested.
"Her mistakes are already the most obvious! She poured hot coffee on my suit!" concluded Daffa.
"Yes, but at least she said sorry! I'm trying to get you a lot of trouble again, but don't take your troubles to others, right!"
Without replying, Daffa snorted while rubbing his face roughly. He was tired of it all.
"Karin is a disciplined woman. Don't you know if she's been working here for a week? It's unbelievable what you did to her!" protested Farhan again.
Apart from her excellent performance, Farhan has been interested in Karin since the first time the girl applied for a job in this office. Her beautiful and beautiful face captured her heart instantly at first glance. So, it's no wonder that Farhan is defending him now. Plus, the misunderstanding was unintentional. It's just that he is apes meeting a boss whose day is terrible.
"I feel like, these few days, I've been unlucky. Especially today," Daffa sighed.
"Daf, Daf. When it comes to the office, I already know. You don't have to overthink it. Fortune isn't going anywhere, really. That's what you always say to me?! Well, when it comes to the others, I think you think about it with a cool head. Later, there must be a solution. If this is the case, you'll got no solution, you'd even kill people!"
Daffa squeezed a smile. He thought it was true what Farhan said. It's useless to keep complaining with your head still hot.
Agreeing with Farhan's enactment, Daffa called Karin into her room. The girl apologized and begged not to be fired from her job. Like Daffa, he apologized for his rude attitude and still let Karin work in the office again.
"Thank you, Mr. Daffa and Mr. Farhan," said the innocent girl.
"Karin, do you want me to deliver home?" teased Farhan as Karin walked out of Daffa's room.
"No need to, sir."
One by one, Daffa's turmoil was passed, and the problem of his client retreating, he didn't think much about it and preferred to work in the future with the existing contract.
Only one more problem has not been solved: the problem at home.
Daffa looked at his watch frequently on a reasonably crowded afternoon trip because he couldn't wait to get home quickly. But, while waiting, his gaze was distracted by several students selling roses around the streets at the Dago crossroads.
Daffa opened the glass of his car and called one of the college students.
"Hey, Boy! Come here!"
The florist also turned his head and came to Daffa's car.
"Want to buy the flowers, Mr?" he said amusedly.
"How much?" asked Daffa.
"Just ten thousand."
"I buy one."
Daffa then took out the money and gave it to the student. Deliberately he bought a sprig of roses for his beloved wife as a sign of apology.
At home, Fera had already prepared everything. The children were temporarily deposited in her in-laws, and she cooked a special meal served at the dining table with a restaurant-style table setting. It's just that there is less wax because Fera didn't have time to buy it.
"Hopefully, this method works to get our relationship back to improve," she said, mumbling.
The torrential rain seemed to add to the plans for this romantic night.
The car's horn sounded in front of the house, and Fera rushed to open the railing while carrying an umbrella. Daffa both got out of the car in the rain and helped his wife open the fence.
The car parked in the garage perfectly. Daffa got off and approached the wife, who was already waiting for him on the porch.
Daffa looked at his wife, who was very charming from top to toe. Fera wore a dress when she and Daffa first dated when they were dating. He approached Fera, stroked his hair to his cheek, and shrieked at his wife's forehead.
"You are as beautiful as ever. This is for you," Daffa praised as he handed her the sprig of roses he bought.
"Thanks, Sweetheart."
The two walked into the house that had been decorated simply by Fera. A smile appeared on Daffa's face. While waiting for her husband to shower, Fera prepared dishes and side dishes at the table. With dim yellow lights and her favourite jazz music, Fera felt it would be the perfect night for her and her husband.
"You decoring all of this?"
"Yes. Is it nice?" asked Fera.
"It's really good, it's intended," Daffa said.
"So, can we eat now? You must be hungry, and I haven't eaten either because I'm waiting for you."
Having a dinner moment with a romantic atmosphere of just two must be challenging for some married couples with children. For almost half a year, the two have never been dating like a young man in a relationship. The special food menu this time is cooked by Fera with great love.
"Where did you buy this flower, Babe?" asked Fera.
"In Dago, usually you like someone to sell flowers."
Daffa looked at his wife, who was eating while she was done. Then, gently, he held Fera's hand lovingly.
"Honey. I'm sorry, huh?"
Fera smiled embarrassedly. Which woman doesn't blush if there is a man who treats her like that. She had wanted to apologize first before her husband. But, as it turned out, Daffa did it first. That's what it's called love in marriage. Who is wrong or right? Everything is no longer critical. Origin, lowering each other's egos for the sake of mutual survival. Mutual understanding's shortcomings.
"I'm the one who should apologize to you, Babe," Fera replied.
