"I swear, you're the only doctor who is really good to talk," Siska praised.
"Hahaha. Yes this is how I am, Sis. I'm happy if the patient is comfortable with my service."
When Siska said that she was no stranger to Putri's face, the beautiful doctor replied that maybe Siska had seen it wrong or saw someone who looked like Putri. The two had accidentally met in the hospital's hallway. A little conversation made the two close enough that there was no need to feel awkward about the relationship between the doctor and the patient.
"Then, see you in the next inspection, huh? I still have to go back to the hospital," Putri said.
"Ok, see you next weekend!" a wave of Siska's hand accompanied the departure of the Putri's car.
Siska's friendly and kind figure both make Putri comfortable when she is nearby. This sense of comfort reminded her of Jodi. When she first felt comfortable befriending Jodi, she now feels back when she is with Siska.
"Is it possible that I can be friends with her? But, she's Andi's girlfriend?! Argh!" complained Putri's dilemma.
She was heading to her house to get some of her belongings and immediately moved into the private apartment she had just bought.
"Putri, you're finally home too, dear," Hartono greeted with a fluffy smile.
"I'm here to get my things left behind," Putri replied straightly.
She then walked past her father, who was standing wrapped in grief.
"So, you don't wanna se me?" said Hartono quietly.
Putri paced back and forth in her room, looking for and tidying up her belongings so that no one was left behind.
"I'm an adult and have the right to choose to live alone," she replied.
After packing everything up, without waiting for a long time, she hurried back to her car to leave.
"Are you sure, Put?" asked Hartono again. Now, his eyes were filled with tears. His usual appearance without a shirt and suit like a father made Putri a little pity.
The brown and black striped polo shirt reminded her of Hartono twenty years ago. Before they were possessions, they were ordinary families whose economy was not less or more. A Father figure she trusts very much and always protects her when something bad happens. Also, someone who always invites her on excursions affectionately is the figure of Hartono, who is very Putri missed.
Spontaneously, the happy memory was automatically erased with disgusting memories of his father a few weeks ago. Putri shook her head quickly and winked a few times to realize that the happiness she used to feel would not be repeated. Instead, her parents inflicted the wound on Putri's heart.
"I'm leaving."
Hartono snorted softly and then remembered something he hadn't told Putri.
"Put, wait! Next week Mr. Soni's family will come to Indonesia to propose to you."
Putri's steps stopped and turned her body slowly.
"Thank goodness, thank you," Putri retorted with a small smile.
"Where are you going to live??" asked her father.
"That doesn't matter."
"I love you, Put." Even a word of love would not undo Putri's intention to leave. She runs her car without replying to her father's affectionate expressions.
A fully furnished apartment located in the Setiabudhi area of Bandung city was bought by Putri suddenly yesterday afternoon. Without telling anyone a story, Putri contacted one of her former patients who worked in the property field. So, it is easy for her to get the apartment she wants in a short time. Plus, the money to buy an apartment is nothing compared to the future savings that she has saved over the years of being a doctor.
"Home sweet home." Princess breathed a sigh of relief when she first stepped onto her new residence at this time. She immediately sorted out her clothes and other belongings.
After everything was settled, Putri slammed her body into the soft mattress measuring one hundred and eighty by two hundred meters. Then, exhausted, she fell asleep in her daydream.
In another place, a person was upset, pacing back and forth in his bedroom. Andi tries to think about the solution to his problem constantly.
"Come on Andi, think about it! There must be a solution to this problem!" he shouted.
He tried to contact his mother, hoping to cancel the crazy plans his parents had before they came to Indonesia.
"Without mr. Hartono's help, maybe our business will not increase rapidly like this, maybe we have gone bankrupt. Plus, Mr. Hartono helped with my medical expenses when Papa's finances were bad, I might not have existed without her help. He's a good guy," said Andi's mother.
"When everything happened, Andi became the victim. Besides, if he is a good person, why is he self-serving?!"
"No, he's not like that. We ourselves offer this arranged marriage as a form of repayment. Putri also seems to be a good woman. You guys will definitely hit it off."
"You doesn't know anything about that woman!" said Andi. But then, his emotions began to peak.
Her mother unilaterally turned the phone off before Andi finished speaking. Anger raged in his heart, mixed with deep sadness when he knew the reality told by the mother. For the first time, he cried because of his sad fate like this. Awry always haunts him when something is related to his parents, especially his mom.
Ring
Putri's cellphone rang until it woke her up while sleeping spontaneously. Overslept for up to two hours made her almost forget to turn on the lights and close the curtains in her apartment because it was getting dark.
"Yes, halooo...," she replied weakly as she wasn't fully aware yet.
"I want to talk. Can we?" asked someone behind Putri's phone.
"Who's this?" Putri asked with inline eyes.
"Andi."
The eyes that were still sleepy suddenly opened spontaneously. Her body was shocked as if she couldn't believe it was a call from Andi.
"S-Sure, when?" she replied hurriedly.
"Now. Send me your location," explained Andi.
"O-Ok."
Putri immediately sent her location point to the man she loved. Like a dream come true, it was rare when Andi called her with words that sounded uncharacteristically good. Seeing her messy apartment, she sorted things out quickly. She took a shower and sprayed perfume all over her body.
'In the apartment?' Andi sent a message.
'yes, that's the location of my apartment. Coincidentally, I just moved out today. So relax, I didn't bite.'
Andi snorted loudly. Before, he had never been to a woman who lived alone. However, he was forced to do this for the sake of clarity of his later fate.
Along the way, the man's heart was not calm. He was afraid that his plan did not meet his expectations. Previously, he had met Mr. Hartono and begged to refuse his parents' offer regarding this arranged marriage. However, Putri's father's answer was "No." Although he initially did not force the offer, when he found out that Putri liked Andi, he decided to continue this because it was the only way for Putri to forgive all his mistakes. At least, that's how Hartono can make his daughter happy.
Putri's room bell rang, and she immediately opened the door. She had prepared some food and snacks for her special guest.
"Hi," Andi said.
"H-hello, Ndi. Please come in," Putri greeted kindly.
Andi sat on the sofa in the living room of Putri's apartment. She looked a little uneasy and occasionally looked here and there as if unsettled.
"So, what is it? What brought you here?" asked Putri.
