Emily looked at the phoenix from behind it the entire time it fought and had admired it's beauty. The Phoenix had bright orange feathers that became yellow closer to the neck and red the closer the feathers got to the end if the wings and body. It had yellow/orange feathers on it's neck and dark red feathers on it's head. It had a long golden yellow beak and eyes that looked like they were full of wisdom.
It had yellow legs with long, sharp talons that were 30 cm each. As the Phoenix flew away it's long back feathers were visible. There were dark red feathers with blue outlines and there were three dark blue feathers. The dark blue feathers symbolised the age of the Phoenix and the number of the feathers symbolised how many times the Phoenix had died and then come back to life from it's ashes. Emily could count 10 feathers but wasn't sure because the Phoenix flew out view.
As the Phoenix left Professor Nara and Professor Adara arrived at the scene to find Emily wiping tears from her eyes while sitting on the ground. Professor Nara approached her and checked her to make sure she was all right. His analysing spell came back negative for any injuries to her. "Are you okay?" She nodded in response while wiping the rest of the tears from her eyes. "Can you tell us what happened her?" She nodded and then told them what had happened.
Professor Nara cursed himself for not getting there sooner, "So you are saying that the Phoenix headed towards the Year 6 dorm." She nodded, "Okay, Professor Adara could you please stay with Emily while I go on ahead." As he said that his communication amulet lit up, Mrs Ferg was calling him. He answered the call and Mrs Ferg's hologram appeared.
"We are under attack and there isn't enough reinforcements to hold of the army outside our building. The strongest fighters went to the Year 6 dorm, so we are outnumbered here. I can't call for more help because there is also an army outside the Year 6 dorm which has the Beasts working hard to hold off the enemy."
"Okay I am coming now. How many are there in the army and how many Beasts do you have with you?" Professor Nara asked while making sure he had enough equipment and potions on himself to fight an entire army by himself.
"There are five Beasts here but like I said they aren't the strongest from the forest. The enemy's army is roughly 1000 strong. There are goblins, undead and even an Ogre which is causing the most trouble for the Beasts." Professor Adara and Emily were shocked at those words. Ogres were a rare species of monster, and they would never work with other species. They only fought for themselves and would eat even their own offspring to survive. Survival of the Fittest was how they lived their lives.
"I understand. Tell the Beasts I will be there in 30 seconds and call that Phoenix and tell them to take control of this situation before people get killed." Professor Adara was shocked at his words because it was over 10 km to the Year 1 dorm and would take her at least 10 minutes to get there flying and without a portal to jump the distance.
Professor Nara ended the call and put his communication amulet away while taking his jacket off. He was wearing a white short sleeved shirt with long black pants and black office shoes. He placed his jacket on the ground next to where Emily was sitting. Both women blushed a little at Professor Nara's physique. He had muscular arms under his jacket which he hid from everyone.
He looked straight ahead towards his destination and crouched down slightly. As he placed his jacket he disappeared from the view of both women, and they was a loud bang and shockwave that sent the two women backwards. They regained their balance and then they looked around, but Professor Nara was gone and all that was left was some burn marks on the ground
Professor Nara had used earth and fire magic to launch himself towards the dormitory. He used water magic on his shoes so that they won't be affected by the heat from the launch. He surrounded his body in an air magic barrier to make himself more aero dynamic. He continued to use bursts of fire magic to keep accelerating his body. He put a speck of darkness magic at the front of the air barrier to destroy the air in front of him to decrease the resistance.
He used light magic on his body to temporarily strengthen his body passed it's limits so that the stress on his body from traveling at such high speeds didn't destroy his body beyond repair. He saw the monster army coming into view and speed up his body even further.
Professor Nara ran through the army at such speed that no one caught a glimpse of him. All they saw was a line of monsters disappear from the army and a human appear at the end covered in the blood of the monsters. Professor Nara turned towards the Beasts who were injured from their continuous fight against a somewhat endless army. The monsters turned their attention away from the struggling Beasts and focused on the human foe before them.
The goblins started drooling and screaming at the sight of the human. They were excited to eat some human flesh for the first time in a few years. Majority of the goblins had spears and were wearing skins of different animal. 'This doesn't make much sense. Why would different tribes of goblins fight together?' The professor thought to himself.
The ogre started marching forward towards the professor. It squished a few goblins and wolves under it's feet as it walked. The ogre was over 15 feet tall, it had small eyes on it's head and no nose. It had a very wide jaw and it's teeth were visible from its mouth. It had light brown skin with tinges of green in it. It stood in front of Professor Nara and looked down on him like he was weaker than him.
The Professor used an air spell called 'Lift' to rise in the air above the Ogre. He chuckled to himself before saying, "You thought you were superior and could get away with looking down on me like that. Let me show you how inferior you are."
