AnnaBella is sitting out front of Eleas home made out of the holy clouds like all angels, all the angels who live in this part of the hevens was excited to hear that Elea was expecting. Elea was one of the most pure and full of wistem and her child would have a lot of expectations to try to match its mother.
Hours... it has been a hole day now. Anna knocked on the door, "you ok in there?, need any help?!" she called out.
"No I'm good thank you!" a calm, happy voice called back.
"You sure? I could get you a tea or something to help" Anna tried half wanting to go in just to see the newborn.
"No thank you, I'm ok" Elea had a tiny hint of fear when she spoke.
"You sure?" Anna felt a little worried now, assuming the worst.
"Yes I just need to rest" Elea spoke calmly and Anna decided to hed to bed and see how she was feeling in the morning. Anna is one of the new healers, angels are born with a halo and they are given a power at birth. Anna was given the power of healing and she followed the teachings of the older healers and now she lives here, tending to the angels. Elea was given the power of knowledge a rare power but not as rare as the power of calming, the ability to calm any creature of existence is only given to the purest of angels.
The most common power is the power of understanding or far judgment. The next morning Anna knocked on the door and no response, "you awake?!" Anna knocked once more.
"I am now!" Elea joked, "please I would like to be alone right now" she spoke with a yawn.
"Still tired?" Anna asked.
"Yep but I'll be out soon" Elea promised.
"Alright so do you know when we can see the newborn?" Anna asked knowing that the other angels felt the same way.
"Umm..." Elea feel silent.
"Don't know?" Anna guessed. Still silence, 'I can find out when she is more awake' Anna headed to the main hall of there section of the hevens. She staid there for half the day until Elea arrived, she looked tired or stressed but most first time mothers do, she didn't have her newborn with her but that was expected. Angels are not born with a visible body, their appearance is white smoke with the halo not too far above of their eyes and white feathery wings at the side of them.
Angels get their visible body's by going to the mortal world, Earth. They can combined two creatures to make a new body type, like Eleas top half is of an elf and her bottom half is from a horse. Anna's is a jaguar from her wast down and a human on her upper half. They don't get their appearance from what they see they get a new appearance and Elea is one of the most beautiful angels here.
"Nice to see you out" Anna greated her with a hug, they've grown to be good friends over the years.
"You too" Elea returned the hug. "And no you won't be able to see her".
"You had a girl!" Anna's grin went from one ear to the other.
"Yes but she isn't all that active right now, she is only a newborn and I don't want to stress her out" Elea spoke softly but Anna saw that something was troubling her.
"Is someone wrong?" Anna asked with pure concern.
"Yes everything is fine" Elea nodded. It was like that for weeks now, usually a mother would introduce her newborn to the rest of the angels after 1 or 2 weeks but it has been 5 weeks now. Anna first thought that Elea is more protective then normal but now she believes it's more then that. Nobody has seen Elea today and Anna went into her home in hopes of finding her.
In the back room a bed sat, Anna was shocked for what she saw. A dark grey smoke cloud with an obsidian halo, dark small horns, dark feathery wings and a pure black tail with spikes like an arrow. Anna took a step back and felt someone there, "what are you doing?!".
"Elea!" Anna was speechless but so was Elea. Her expression was of shock and fear. "I won't... I won't be the one to tell" she promised. Elea calmed down a bit and closed her door, the newborn was asleep and its tail was neatly wrapped around herself.
"I know what you're thinking" Elea said after a long pause, "a hybrid, my child" she sounded disappointed in herself but a loving expression flowed on her face when she looked over at the newborn. "I named her Inshal" Elea mentioned.
"It's a nice name" Anna couldn't hide the discomfort in her voice, "how?".
"I'm not in a relationship with one don't worry, I made a mistake a while back" Elea tried to explain herself.
"How will you explain to the councils? wouldn't they try to kill her?" Anna didn't know what the system is for the birth of a hybrid.
"I don't know" the voice she let out almost sent her tears flowing and it showed.
"You love her don't you?" Anna put her hand on Eleas shoulder.
"Yes she... she is my child" Elea had a calm, loving but worried voice.
"I will tell them but I don't know how" Elea promised, "I don't know how to convince them not to kill her".
"You could send her to somewhere safe for her" Anna suggested but it felt wrong to do so.
"To where her father!" Elea clearly doesn't agree, "not only would that make her more a demand then the angel she is but I will be going against the councils teachings!".
"Of course, I shouldn't of suggested it" Anna sat in silence for while.
Elea sighed then looked over at the peaceful, sleeping smoke that us Inshal. "Maby you could convince them that you could rase her as an angel and only an angel" Anna suggested after a long, long pause.
"Maby" Elea sighed but she sounded tired.
"You should rest, I'll tell the overs that you are a little stressed out for being a first time mother" Anna said, Elea nodded and they both went on with there day.
They both spent a week planning a meeting with the second council, they are not the most powerful like the higher council but they can do something. The day has arrived and Anna is in Elea house waiting for her to prepare. "You ready?" Anna asked as Elea held the dark gey smoke with a mess of horns and wings. "Now or never" Elea said then stepped out. The gasps and shocked screams of the other angels made Elea lower her head and Anna gave an expression to tell the others not to worry.
Once they got there they had to wait a good hour or two before they were called in. There was 8 of them and all with un-pleased looks, "so a hybrid the first in over 6 million years if I recall correctly" the oldest spoke. "Well what do you think my first orders will be?, we don't need a meeting" the oldest name is Newlaw.
"Please, we can rais- " she was cut off immediately.
"We can what? raise her as one of us? as if her half blood doesn't matter" Newlaw had a look of discuss.
"Newlaw we should conditioner it, the last one wouldn't stop trying to attack but look at this one, she is tamed" one of the other concels spoke.
"What does that mean? Strongmind" Newlaw relaxed himself.
"Look at her, she is acting like any other newborn angel and the other one was acting more like a demon, there is a chance" Strongmind observed.
"What are the chances she is raised right, Anchor?" Newlaw asked.
"Humm..." Anchor stared at the newborn and her halo glowed, "she is garanteed to be raised right, I don't know why though, but if she turns more towards her demon side..." she trailed of.
"What will happen?" Newlaw didn't sound too happy about her hesitation.
"It will go either way: if she sticks to the angel in her blood she will be like us in the council but is she strays towards her other blood she would be our worst enemy" Anchor bit her lip and her halo stopped glowing.
"How bad?" Newlaw narrowed his eyes, the council kept to their cloud forms.
"She could rule a section of the underworld" Anchor had a tone of worry.
"Any other thoughts?" Newlaw asked and all 8 of then started to spill their thoughts. Anna felt a bit too put of her comfort zone, the second council shouldn't have to discuss and argue about anything for this long but then Newlaw spoke.
"Alright!" he called out, "we have to discuss this in a more formal fashion, for now return back home, I'll send you a messenger when we have decided" Newlaw dismissed them. Elea was speechless the hole way back, the shocked looks and gasps didn't help at all. Once they got back Elea sat Inshal on the bed, "they are gonna kill her" she almost sobbed.
"No there is still a chance" Anna sat next to her and gave her a hug.
"You heard what Anchor said, she is powerful here but so down there, to them she is too much of a risk" Elea had tears running down her cheek. Anna wanted to do something but then noticed that Inshal was climbing her way down. "No you'll hurt yourself" Elea wiped her tears and hugged Inshal close, Inshals tail wrapped around Elea. "Is that how she huggs?" Anna asked trying to distracted her from today.
"Nice try but I won't stop worrying" Elea spoke. They both waited for a good 3 weeks when a messenger finally knocked on Eleas door.
"The second council would like to see you as soon as possible" the messenger spoke and then led the way. Elea kept a tight grip on Inshal and you can see the confusion in her eyes on why Elea is so worried. They both sat down and the last meeting felt like yesterday, "you know how we work" Newlaw started. "We want the fairest option but we also want what is safest, I'm sorry but we can't risk it" Newlaw said as if he rehersed it.
"You can't! she's too indecent! I can keep her under control!" Elea bursted with fear.
"I'm sorry but we can't risk it" Newlaw sounded unfazed, Anna could sense the unhealthy panic rush through Elea. All of a sudden, Inshal shoot to Newlaw, wrapping her tail around him then her halo glowed. Newlaw went from fury to as calm as a rabbit in its owners lap, "what in the world" Newlaw let out.
"What is this!?" Anchol snapped towards him but Newlaw flashed his eyes to tell her to settle.
"She can calm me" Newlaw wrapped his wing around her then looked up, "I would be going against my oath if I killed her now".
"Does that mean?" Elea sounded hopeful.
"Yes you can raise her but one sign of her turning to her other half and I won't hesitate" Newlaw confirmed.
Elea then raised Inshal as if she was a pure angel and now Inshal is now the age where she can explore the Earth and see the beautiful creatures that lives on there.
