"Good, I will be making your seat for you, now that it has a name tied to it" Inshal could never tell if she was being sycastic or not.
"Sorry for the long wait" Inshal apologised for her hesitation.
"Don't be, I took about the same time as you when deciding if I wanted to join" Anchor shook her guilt of, "it is the best choice I have ever made".
"You should head back home, be here tomorrow at 8 you can start your new schedule" she informed.
"See you tomorrow then" Inshal left and followed her mothers orders to eat at the hall of her home.
"Look who's finally back" AnnaBella greated her with a hug as soon as Inshal entered the door.
"I know I've been goon all day" Inshal went to sit on one of the the tables near her mother. When ever she went to eat in the hall her mother is always surrounded by other angels as she has been very popular since youth from what Inshal heard. Anna sat next to her, "your mother told me about the letter" she mentioned.
"Yep I got it all delt with" Inshal informed her.
"So what did you chose?" Anna whispered to her.
"I can't say" Inshal remembered the first proper meeting she had with them, they told her that her invitation has to be kept quite for tradition sake.
"I see" Anna took a bite out of the food that was just brought to them. There was a chicken and vegetable soup today, ot wasn't her favourite but she didn't mind it. It was pretty quiet that night, maby it only felt that way to Inshal because her mind was always drifting and her mothers words earlier kept repeating in her head. That morning she woke up and looked over at the the clock, 7:48, "f-ck!" Inshal cursed and she rushed to groom herself before dashing towards the big hall.
She flew through the doors and up the stairs the the main meeting room, she burst through the door then gasped for air. "You're here with 3 seconds spare" Newlaw commanded.
"I'm not late?" Inshal couldn't believe it.
"No you have 3 seconds spare" Newlaw repeated himself, "now take your seat and we can begin your initiation".
"Yes" Inshal went to the shiny, fancy seat at the end of the table, it had her name and the number 9 written on the top of it. "In order for you to join us, you must take the oath" Newlaw explained.
"I'm ready" Inshal nodded.
"Repeat after me, I will honer my position and use it only for the sake of others...".
"I will honer my position and use it for the sake of others" Inshal repeated.
"I will do my best to help others and keep things far and safe...".
"I will do my best to help others and keep things far and safe".
"I will fight against those who dare challenge the peace and ballance...".
"I will fight against those who dare challenge the peace and ballance".
"I am the second council and those who are in it are my kin...".
"I am the second council and those who are in it are my kin".
"Welcome to the second council, Inshal" Newlaw welcomed her.
"Thank you" Inshal nodded her head in honer.
"Now let us get to the matter in hand, Strongmind can you fill Inshal in on the situation?" Newlaw asked.
"Of course" Strongmind nodded his head and turned to Inshal. "We have been having a lot of concerns about demon activities in the South, we haven't found the time to check it out" he informed her.
"Wait Inshal, you have been on Earth lately haven't you?" Anchor asked.
"Yes" Inshal answered, already guessing what she us about to ask.
"Have you been down South?" she asked and her rose gold halo glowed.
"No sorry, I've stuck up North as too many cities and towns that way" Inshal spoke and she felt something in her.
"You know more about Earth then us by now, you should be the one to check it out and report back" Silva suggested. Silva is number 4, she is rather shiny and glittery then the others. Anchor is number 2, Strongmind is number 8 and Newlaw is number 1. "Yes that would be the best, all of us hasn't left for Earth in thousands of years" Newlaw nodded.
"When should I go?" Inshal asked, it felt wired to be on this side of the table. Usually if someone had a meeting this the second council you would sit on the side infront of the door but sitting on her own chair looking at the big, golden door made with dark oak (a rich couler) made her feel a bit of. "After the meeting, we shouldn't delay any further" Newlaw decided.
"So what are going to do about the war with the humans and elfs?" Drin (number3) asked looking at a map.
"I don't know yet, what are your thoughts Anchor?" Newlaw then took the map and he looked a bit disappointed.
"The elfs are the ones who started the war but the humans are the ones who declared it. They both have very good reasons to be upset with each other, in my opinion they need to sit down and discuss territory properly instead of making lies about each other" Anchor reported.
"When did the humans and elfs get into war?" Inshal asked, the land looked so peaceful.
"About a mouth ago, they had a big disagreement with territory, one thing led to anuther and now they are all fighting" Newlaw answered not looking away from the map.
"What are your thoughts, Inshal?" Newlaw passed the map down to her. The map showed Earth (it would be like Earth as we see it today but the countries and locations are different, ok back to the story) it showed 3 coulers. Red, blue and green, on the left bottom corner it said who is what couler. The red is the elfs, the blue is the humans and the green is the furrys. the red had most/all of the West part of the globe, the blue had most but not all of the East and the green was widely spread down the middle. "It looks like furrys doesn't have as much territory then the others" she spoke her first thoughts.
"That's because they are not in the war" Drin explained.
"It looks like the elfs has the advantage" Inshal continued.
"So nothing new" Drin said softly.
"Thia war has the potential to colapst all of the races, we need to act soon" Newlaw sounded a little stressed about the hole situation, 'it must of been more stressful with my seat not having a name to it' Inshal thought. "But how?" Newlaw asked the rest of the council.
"This is a very delicate situation, we must not rush it Newlaw" Essa (number 5) spoke with a heavy accent. It startled Inshal a little when she first heard but as she continues to hear... she still can't place where it's from.
"I know" Newlaw spoke but his tone said otherwise.
"What we need to do now is find out if we are nurture or if we need to pick a side" Essa suggested.
"Yes that to" Newlaw nodded but he seemed very distracted.
"What if I patrolled around the war, see who is right and wrong" Inshal suggested.
"That... that could work" Newlaw sounded as if thus was the first idea in a long while, "just do not get caught".
"I won't, I could blend in with a flock if I have to" Inshal reinsured him.
"Well that is temporary sorted out" Drin fiddled his wings.
"Looks like Inshal has sorted out two of our problems" Anchor said but Inshal wasn't sure if she was being sycastic or not.
"Yes, unless someone has a problem that is worrying them, we can end" Newlaw looked around to see if anyone had something to say. Everyone shook their head, "I will be seeing you all next Tuesday at 8 am" Newlaw dismissed all of them. "Inshal you should stay on Earth until them to get as much information as possible, goodness knows we could use it" Newlaw muttered under his breathing.
"Yes" Inshal then dashed out, towards the exit and to the edge. Inshal then headed South, ignoring the warriors angry calls. It was peaceful to fly out in the open but after a while she heard the conflict of battle. She landed on a tree branch and moved towards the sounds and saw the most twisted thing she had ever saw. Inshal felt as if her own wings were being plucked of every feather.
