The girl near the fiery ember eyes turns lifeless. She lost her will to live, and no one could blame her. Nothing could prepare her for the nightmare that happened that morning. She was sitting in her box reading through documents when all of a sudden, monsters from the depth of hell came and ravaged her colleagues and friends. Their screams, pain, and suffering were all heard by her. Then when she thought there was hope, a scary man forced her to touch an object that came from the demon that killed her friends. No matter how much she begged and cried in sorrow, he wouldn't listen to her. Inside, she was screaming at him, asking why he would do such a thing. In those moments, she was pushed to the corner of the abyss, until light shone among her, making a path for her. She was about to walk that path, until the scary man came back and forced her to turn that corner again. He killed everyone in his group, tearing them apart like the punch of an insect. That is why her eyes dim. No longer can the light bring her back.
In a state of despair, the girl chose to follow the man. Slowly, her hand hovered over the word "demon". As she made contact with the word, her tears dropped for the last time upon the surface. William tried his best to shout "Stop!!!" However, his scream resulted in his skull being smashed into a million pieces by me.
Quickly, her body morphed; her skin turned red with veins pulsing out of her skin. She screamed in agony, feeling burned from the inside. Her blood evaporated, releasing a red gas into the atmosphere. Her red pulsing skin starts to expand, ripping her skin, while repairing it at the same time. The torn skin drops to the ground, flowing river of blood. She screamed and screamed, making the survivor shudder in deep fear.
Then bone starts to grow from her skull, creating two horns. Her tears weren't water any longer, whether it be from the transformation or her sadness, it turned into blood. The screams of pain turn into beastly howls from your worst nightmare. The woman's beautiful, well-done nails shed from her finger before growing back into shark tooth-like ones. Her slim and sexy legs have turned into strong goat-looking legs. The toes melt into each other, turning into three talon-like feet.
The transformation turns a beautiful woman into a beast from hell. The demon that used to be a human turns its head toward the survivor. Without hesitation, it lunges toward them at breakneck speed. I look at its action before laughing at the event that just unfolded. Its massive claw tore through one of the males' heads, killing the man instantly. The rest of the survivors seeing this were shocked, but alas, the demon woman didn't give them a chance to respond. Using its two arms, the demon grabs one male and one female, smashing their heads together, making a beautiful red confetti. The last girl crawled quickly trying to live, with tears dripping from her eyes toward me. Hoping that I would help her, but her wishful thinking got her a foot in the face.
The demon grabs her in mid-air before devouring her head. Not satisfied with the quick hunt, it turned its ugly head toward me. I only grinned at it before, turning four meters, punching its face with my oversize hand. It instinctively rises to block my attack, only for me to penetrate through the middle, hitting its head. The impact of the punch caused the four-meter demon woman to be launched back two meters. It looked at me with confusion as if asking me "How did you hit me?" which gives me hints that this demon has more intellect than the rest. It makes sense since this demon was just human a moment ago.
Feeling ultra curious, I loosened my punch to see if this demon would grow more intelligent. It goes on for half an hour before something mind-blowing happens. The demon opens its mouth, making the sound "W... H... Y" it says. This question gives an insight into what's going on. However, to confirm it, I need to hear more of what it's going to say. They continued, and on occasion, the demon would mumble the word "why". I don't know if it's asking why it can't hit me or why I force it to change to a demon. It doesn't matter; this mystery will unfold sooner or later. The fight went on for too long, and I started to get tired. So I quickly disabled it hands and legs, before sitting down and resting.
While resting, I observed it for an hour straight, analyzing the body of the demon. I found out that they really do have powerful regeneration, able to grow back lost limbs. Another thing I found out is that the question was asked by the woman, not the demon. It looks like the woman's consciousness still exists inside the demon. It's slowly resurfacing; the demon, instead of asking "why" all the time, can now complete sentences. Like, Why did you do it? This is how I connect the dots. While I am not sure if this is true, I am still betting my money on this factor.
Some may wonder why I did all of this? To be honest, I don't know myself. Those pictures of my past have shown me my true nature. The demon that I was created to be. While a part of me said no toward this nature, I whole heartedly felt a deep acceptance toward it. The conflict in my emotions causes me to wonder. Should I be true to myself, or change myself toward something else entirely different from me. In the end, I chose to be me. I took pride in myself. Why should I change myself to live among the insects I killed? To make them worship me? Love me? They are insects for a reason; they have little to no impact on the world they live in. They need unity to stay strong, while I myself am strong. This is why I killed them, using them like trash, for they are nothing in my eyes.
The demon woman transformation showed me something. It shows that this fiery ember has the potential to evolve me into something bigger and better than the inferior form I am in right now. If I could learn the risk and potential of this transformation, maybe I could finally achieve my long lasting goal. To finally show this pathetic race that they are meant to be enslaved. I will be their king, their overlord. I will control their life like a god.
For the next hour or so, I carefully observe the changes happening around the demon woman. The result was worth the wait. The transformation is like a trial toward a person's will. The demon woman went from a barbaric beast into somewhat of a civilized human child. Every time a change happens, the demon's face morphs into pain. I believe the pain isn't physical, but mental. From what I notice, these demons have a high pain tolerance, not even flinching when their arms and legs are broken. The only time they show signs of pain is a hit to the head. For its expression to morph into pain could only be attributed to the infliction of damage to the head, either physical or mental.
This could mean that the woman will, is fighting against the wild will of the demon. Every time the demon loses, it shows a painful expression. From this hypothesis, we can say that the trial might give you more than one chance. Seeing that the weak will woman is able to fight against the wild will of the demon, of course, you couldn't judge a book by its cover. She might be weak-willed on the outside, but being stuck in a cage with an animal might awaken something powerful inside of her.
The waiting game continued on, and the final result hit the pill for my goal. After a day of waiting, the demon woman screamed at me in a rough voice, "You bastard, why did you do this to me? Why did you turn me into a demon? I HATE YOU!! YOU ARE NOT HUMAN!! YOU ARE A MONSTER!!" Before crying out in blood. Hearing her words, I couldn't help but be angry that this insect dared insult me. I approach it and stomp its head into a tomato splatter.
I look around at the body litter on the ground, smiling in satisfaction with my work. Feeling guaranteed that I wouldn't die from touching fiery embers. I touched it, making a translucent screen appear in front of me.
Human or Demon
Without hesitation, I picked Demon.
