The surviving female veteran dashed toward me, like a wolf hunting for its prey. She strikes a punch toward my groin, but I quickly move my leg backward. When she realized her attempt to harm me had failed, she struck me again, this time aiming for my thigh. However, this time I didn't dodge; I just swatted her with my big 2 meter palm, sending her flying toward a building. See, if she was a normal human, she would have been dead by now, but the only wound you can see her suffer is a bruise.
So this led me to understand that she didn't survive because of luck, this rude female actually has a good defensive card. While it's garbage in front of me, still, garbage is something. Without waiting for her to recover from my first attack, I jumped up 6 meters to the sky before falling down toward the woman punching her with an earth shattering force. The crack into a cobweb shape, the twitching bodies of demons got launched into the air, some weaker demon bodies got tear in them pouring more blood into the crimson lake.
If you might think this was an overkill, then you are wrong, because two seconds later the woman crawled from the hole having only a little more bruise. Looking at those wounds I re-evaluate the strength of this woman. A Two Star Card wouldn't be that strong, Sergeant Longbottom defense was easily broken by weaker me. The women must have a Three Star Card focusing purely on defense. If so then she should be proud of herself, she was able to make me take her seriously.
At that moment the same sensation of overflowing pride circulated around my body gave me a euphoria of boosted strength. I cling on to that sensation and punch the woman's upper body part. Sending her flying through the three walls of a building, collapsing the building in the process. Without looking back I walk away knowing that she died.
Then suddenly from the rumble the woman climbs out and stands there staring at me with anger and hatred, with only a little more bruises. Fully annoyed I didn't stop a punch any more, I quickly grabbed her and threw her on the ground, before barraging with punch after punch filled with my pride. Blow after blow the ground breaks down from a meter radius to a hundred radius. It's at this point that I realize something, I realize what her power is. However, it was too late, in a blink of an eye my right arm exploded from my body, making a rain of blood fall upon us.
I quickly backed away and stopped attacking. The woman got out of the whole thing before laughing at me insanely, "How do you like it now, you filthy animal? How do you like it to feel unimaginable pain? How do you... "
Before she could say her last question I cut her off before saying in a demonic voice "Stop being arrogant you filthy bitch. I already understand your power. You are able to redirect the force applied upon you to others, or store them to do a massive burst of force toward the enemy. It only makes sense that power is this, for only I am strong enough to hurt myself."
The woman looked at me in shock, never would he have thought that a demon would reply back to her rhetorical question. However, I only smiled creepily with my demonic face, because at this point this stupid woman have given me a pick opening. In a blink of an eye I managed to grab her, she tried to release the force stored in her to burst open from my palm, but what she didn't realize is that her head was already in my mouth. While I have never tasted human before, I wasn't hesitant to swallow her head whole. Sadly, there was no benefit in eating the woman.
Having no more obstruction in my path, I quickly collected all the Lesser Demon Soul from the group, there was a total of 324 Lesser Demon Soul. Feeling satisfied in my harvest I checked out my status
Race: Lesser Pride Demon

The state increase for endurance is massive. I can feel my right arm growing rapidly back, I estimate that it would take about a week or so until it grows back to tip top shape. Seeing that I have cleared enough demons, I decided to journey into the outside world. Outside the military base it was the same as normal, if we don't count the red garbage attempting to assault you every few minutes. However, I am able to handle it easily even with my five meter form with a broken arm. It just proves how trash they are.
I walked for about three days, and I found out that the city is in total destruction. When I arrived, the cars were either broken into scrap metal or so badly dented that you didn't even realize what type of car they were. The small buildings are either completely demolished or destroyed, while the scrapers have a lot of broken mirrors, and some even fell toward the building below, crushing about a block of road and building. That is not even talking about the number of corpses of either demons or humans. While there are fewer demons than humans to be found, there is still plenty to see. Streets once filled with trash are now littered with bodies, organs, and blood. Lakes with fish and plant life turn into a bloody mess, both figuratively and literally. To sum it up, the city has gone into absolute crap.
My beautiful house was also among the casualties, seeing that there's nowhere to stay. I just slept in the forest with soft dirt. For the past three days all I did was sleep and kill demons to get stronger.
Today, however something different happened, the proclaiming God finally spoke again "Children of mine, you have all passed through the first stage of the first level trial. While everyone that's alive passes, I am most proud of 7 of my children's, who are able to pick up a special role in the system. For bringing me honor, I will give these 7 children's a another free card. Everyone that passed is now qualified for better treatment, so listen carefully, my children's, for I will now give you a hint of the second stage of level one trial."
A poem was recited by the God.
The world you know will not be there
The first few sunset will be despair
The path you walk will be thin hair
The enemy lies everywhere
For those whose brave will shine brightest
For those whose cowardice will see darkness
Whatever your choice no want would care
Choose wisely, my children, for life is not fair.
From the poem many around the world know one thing, the Earth will change, and that change will either be their undoing, or their growth.
