I got up to walk when I noticed the stunned expression on Elliot’s face before turning to me, grinning, as he walked over to me; obviously pleased with my answer. We walked for a while until we came across a bike path and followed it while I looked over at the ocean. It felt calm as we kept walking in silence and enjoyed the view or the feel of the cool breeze. After a while, we made our way back to his car and we discussed where we could go, but of course, Elliot already had a plan before I could even think of a suggestion. I didn’t feel so nervous as I wondered where we could be going, but at the same time, I wanted to know where we would be heading to ease me a little until I noticed the mall.
“Why are we coming here?” I asked him.
“There’s an arcade area by the food court that is upstairs and there’s a lot of things to do there,” Elliot said as he parked his car.
I was confused for a second, “I don’t remember seeing that.”
