It's been two months since I've started working now, and I'm loving every second of it, but I still don't get why Lucy is giving me so much attitude.
I thought by now she would have warmed to me but no she hasn't.
Me, Emma, Becky, Cindy, and Dalisu eat lunch together, still don't know what you do with a friend, do you walk them?
Feed them?
Shoot, then I haven't been doing a good job.
Though Luke still insists I eat lunch with him, so I made a deal that I would be eating with him two times a week, Fridays and Wednesdays and he agreed but after a lot of persuading on my part.
In those two months, I've learned how to smile, to laugh and I'm beginning to see others as friends, still don't know what to do with them but they are friends.
Not ready to open up entirely but I was smiling and happy that's all that matters.
I still had nightmares don't get me wrong, and still had that tightness on my chest once in a while.
Most days are good.
So I woke up this morning by this stupid alarm.
Again.
After gathering my thoughts I got up and got to the shower, the nightmares were becoming less and less now.
Though other days felt like I went to hell and back, other days were a God-sent.
Today was God-sent.
I took a hot shower with my strawberry and cream shampoo and my cocoa butter body wash, rinsing, and dried myself with a towel.
Going to my walk-in, I took out pink lace panty and a matching bra.
For some reason, I wanted to look extra good today, so I took out my navy dress that went an inch below my knees, it's open on the back showing skin and it had this origami-like fold on one shoulder, I paired it with my blood-red 6inch stilettos.
Longest I've worn to work, but I was feeling sexy today.

I let my hair hang loose but dried it first then straighten it just a bit. Putting ponds, eyeliner, and my mascara like always and finished off with a very light red lipstick, just to enhance my natural lip color.
I was in love with myself, my body is on point, curves in this dress were showing off in all the right places.
Thanks to my now active life for the past two months, there was more meat on my skinny ass and my face a little bit rounder.
Looking past the mirror, damn I'm fine
I made my way to breakfast in the kitchen and found both my sisters Katie and Ave along with Luke already sitting, when I got in they started whistling, and I couldn't help but blush.
It's like the first day all over again.
"Oh God, you look amazing, are you sure it's work you going too"
Ave said wiggling her eyebrows making me blush ten times harder.
"Now I have to work harder getting that Jim from accounting off your back today"
Luke said, I just playfully hit him on the arm causing him to laugh.
"Well you guys know I'm not there yet, but I did wanna look extra nice today just to feel good about myself "
I said feeling a little sad but I brush it off quickly.
"Of course sweetie, you deserve it. Your body is HOT. So flaunt it"
Katie said snapping her fingers.
Earning a laugh from everyone.
We had our breakfast in small talks and laugh, then Luke and I headed out for the office.
His eyes on the road
"So how are things with the Phillips wedding going?"
Luke asked.
"Well everything is in order, the lady knows what she wants so it makes my job much easier. But I had to move Lucy away from the venue and deco cause she was arguing with the bride so she is handling other things. Can you tell me what her problem is?"
Luke glanced at me for a second then focused back on the road.
"Well before you came she was the one heading up the team so she feels like she deserves the spot,
I can't even fire her cause she's good at her job if not the best"
He sighs
"ugh ugh"
I cleared my throat looking at him.
He started laughing at me
"Oh after you of course. I mean you are the best in the country and she comes right after you"
We both started laughing at my vanity.
"And before I forget, an old friend of mine is coming in today he wants you to head up an event. He saw your work at the opening of that downtown casino. He loved what you did with the place."
He said while I nodded my head.
The casino was one of the first things I did when I started work.

"Ok, what time will he come?"
"Well I'm not sure yet but I will let you know ok ?"

The only thing we did today was just the finishing touches on the Phillips wedding till lunch.
I told the team we will continue then,
I got to my office to get my bag and I made my way to Luke's office.

"Come in "
He bellowed, I pushed the door and I heard my phone vibrating so I started digging in my handbag not looking up.
"Luke, you ready for lunch?"
I asked him then when I looked up I saw Luke sitting with someone but had their backs on me.
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know you were busy, I'll just come back later"
I said backing away.
"Shay come in and meet my friend I told you about this morning "
Luke gestured with a hand.
His friend was busy with some papers so I went in ahead and stood next to Luke.
"Liam I would like you to meet my sister in law and our best event planner Shay Williams"
The man Liam placed the pen down and looked away from the papers and looked up at me and I felt my whole body warming up and my cheeks getting red.
Calm your horses Shay, the man just looked up.

He had the blackest hair, what do young kids call it, raven.
Yes raven black hair, shorter on the side and a little bit long in the middle.

His teeth, the middle two ones on the bottom are on top of each other, his smile was not straight but damn it, it was perfect.

I'm in awe just looking at him and then he had to stand up, I felt so small though I was wearing heels.

Luke was very tall but this man was taller than Luke by a few inches.
He extends his hand.
"Hi I'm Liam Ronan"

"So miss Williams you will be planning my mother's birthday party?"
He asked as soon as we took our seats.
"Please call me Shay and yes, but I have a team of 5 that will be assisting me with the preparations "
He nods his head, I was still struggling to form a coherent thought in front of this man.

"Well I trust Luke and Luke seems to trust you so I guess you have my"
he said leaning forward on his seat. "Don't disappoint me miss Williams "
I looked at Luke who just nodded his head at me.
"Well I will leave you, two gentlemen, I'm going for lunch, we will set an appointment to meet and discuss what it is that you want"
I said picking up my bag, I thought getting out of here will do me some good but for him as well, I will be arrested for licking the man.
Can't go to jail
He stood and so does Luke but what he said next leaves me speechless for a second, or maybe it was an hour, with him in the room who knows.
"Why don't we all have lunch together, we get to know each other miss Williams?"
He smirked, I looked at Luke who was also smirking. How am I supposed to calm my emotions if he comes?

I silently laughed at my perverted joke.
I think I should call my therapist after this, I think my meds are failing me, or side effects?
"Well only if you drop this miss Williams nonsense and call me Shay, then we can all have lunch together "

And he started smiling showing off his dimples.

"Very well then Shay, shall we?"
I nodded my head and made my way to the door but saw that Luke was not coming with us so as I turn I bumped straight into Liam, my bag fell and my hand was on his chest when he "catches" me.
His hands held me by the waist so I wouldn't fall, our eyes locked and I felt like I was floating, electricity shot from where his hands are and from my hands on his chest.

I gasped and I felt my heart beat faster as if air not longer exists in my lungs and I couldn't breathe.
Being so close to each other, it was as if we were the only ones in the room, everyone and everything around me disappeared and it is just the two of us.

I heard someone clear their throat, with that I jumped out of his arms flashed, feeling my face go red.
"I'm sorry.....ah .....I didn't.....please forgive me"
looking down embarrassed by doing it yet again.
"It's ok who am I to complain with a beautiful woman like you in my arms." He said making me blush even more.
" Luke?"
I called, trying not to seem affected by what Liam just said.
"Yes muffin"
"You not coming?"
I asked looking anywhere but in their eyes, I feel Liam bending and picking up my bag.
"No I have calls to make muffins but take Liam to that place you like, I think he will love it. I will see you when you get back."
He said and I could hear the smile in his voice, and I can feel Liam's gaze on me.
"Ok later then"
I said turning around but before I opened the door Liam's fingers brush over mine and again I feel the electricity in my hand and shot through me.
I quickly pulled away having felt the electricity, He hands me my bag and I thank him.
"After you"
He said holding the door for me, with a smirk, I start wondering if he was feeling what I was feeling, because if he was then why was he not freaking out just like I was.
We walked to the elevators and headed for the restaurant.
Oh boy, this is gonna be a long and awkward lunch.
I sighed silently as the elevator took us down.
