It's been a week since that incident with Liam in Luke's office.
The Phillips wedding went without a hitch And drama from Lucy.
When I called Liam's office they said he was out of the country and they will give him my massage as soon as he came back.
He has not called me or Luke, not even Becky to set an appointment.
Should I worry?
Friday
It's already lunch and is one of the days I eat lunch with Luke.
I still don't see the point but he insists, what to do?.
I made my way to his office and knocked once and I just budge in.
"I'm ready"
I said in a singing voice, laughing but I stopped in my tracks and laughter died when I saw he is with someone.
"My apologies I didn't mean..., had I known I wouldn't have"
I know that head, don't I?
But I'm too embarrassed to look or investigate.
Then the mystery guy turned and I started sweating, my heart stopped then bulldozes its cavity, blood rushed in my ears while time seems to just slow down.
Please, not again. I can't blame the medication now, can I.
I looked between him and Luke and I saw Luke smirking, Liam has a big grin on his face.
Oh Lord I hope Luke didn't tell him, I give him a look and he understood what I was trying to convey.
He shook his head then I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding.
"How do you do Miss Williams?"
Liam asked making me snap my head back to him, then I remembered how we left things.
"Good good good good.. Goooood thanks"
Why not add anything good just for a "good" major.
Embarrassed I ducked my head and looked at my feet.
Awe look, my shoes are cute.
It was quiet for a few seconds then.
"Well, shall we go and see the venue?" Luke asked
"Luke if you don't mind can I have a moment with him"
I said looking at Liam if he'd even want to talk to me.
"That's if you don't mind of course"
I asked before he could answer.
"See you guys in the car then"
Luke said walking out of the office but not before giving me a wink.
" Liam"
I said then I remember how I went all professional shit on him.
"I'm sorry can I call you Liam"
but I don't wait for his answer
"I'm sorry about my behavior that day, I promise you I'm not bipolar or anything, it's just that after our lunch everything went so fast and things I didn't except took place so if in any way, shape, or form I insulted you, I beg for your forgiveness."
I rambled, he had a very serious face on and I was thinking he was not convinced of my apology so I went on.
" I think you know what happened to me 5 years ago, not that I'm making excuses or anything, and I would like to explain, but my behavior was base on that and when."
He cut me off by taking a step towards me and I froze on my spot till I saw he was not stopping and he had a stoic face on.
My body starts panicking and I started taking steps backward, until I trip on a rug as I was going down he moved fast and held me up by my waist our chest touching, catching me before I fell.
Where his hand is holding me it felt like my skin was on fire and I felt like I couldn't breathe, only because I was holding my breath.
He brought his face close to me and I found myself yet again caught in his eyes, trapped.
I was lured, trapped, and drowned by its bliss of cloud, brewing a storm that promised to sallow me, drown me and save me while giving me life all at once.

I was mesmerized by them yet again, I could hear my heart, I was sure he could hear it too.
He moved me even closer and my body goes into panic mode, and I think he saw that.
"You need to calm down, I swear I don't bite."
He said with a sweet smile that threatens to render me boneless

"Unless you ask me too"
he adds

"Liam"
That is all I could whisper out but he heard me all the same.

I felt like my knees would give out at any second not only from my dirty, very dirty mind but his cologne- so I fisted his shirt by the collar and held on.
He leans in and gives me a peck on my cheek, my heart stopped altogether and my face was set on fire an explosion of electricity consumed my body.
My lungs burned from oxygen deprivation, and I only took a breath when he let me go slowing as though letting me get my balance.
If he kisses me, I'd die.
I let go of his shirt but my hands stayed on his chest shaking.
I looked at him in the eyes and saw him look at me then his eyes traveled to my lips making me self-conscious about them, and I did what every person would have done, I licked them.
Right?
I saw his eyes turn dark like the clouds when they prepare for rain, drawing me even more, my breath hitches again and my lips parts, he leaned in I found myself doing the same.

Kiss of death
Before our lips could touch my phone rang drawing me out of my blissful cloud, like I've been smacked with a wet dog.
We pulled apart and I go for my handbag and take out my phone
"Luke"
I said with my eyes on Liam and I blushed thinking of what almost happened.
"I'm waiting for you guys"
He.
He said but he sounded more amused than angry.
"How long does it take to"
I cut him off.
"We are on our way"
I heard him laugh and I just hung up looking at my phone I spoke to Liam.
"It was Luke. He wants us downstairs" I said.
"Ok but I would like to ask you something before we head out"
he said.
This is a trap
I thought to myself, I looked at him with so much skepticism.
"Sure"
I said anyway.
"Can you go to dinner with me this night or tomorrow or any day you free?"
I saw how nervous he was so I thought why not tease him.
"If I didn't know better I would think you nervous Liam. Are you asking me out on a date?"
He chuckles and stepped closer to me.
"Why yes, I am Shay, what say?"
He asks stepping close to me.
"Pick me up tonight at 8"
I said walking towards the door.

We went and saw the venue, saying it was beautiful will not be doing it Injustice.
It was big and gorgeous.
My mind starts conjuring there and then, so I started rambling out my plans.
I didn't even know Luke and Liam were looking at me, I continued with my ramble and jolting down, asking the staff questions about their services, to complete an idea.
I went on writing down every idea that came to me, till my brain came crashing down.
I looked around the room admiring it and when my eyes land on Luke who was looking at me with amusement and adoration, and when I saw Liam. He looked at me in awe and emotion I haven't received in years.
"I'm sorry I got carried away"
I said putting my notebook back in my handbag.
I always made a point to have a new notebook for each event so I would not require space or paper.
"It's was wonderful to see you at work, I'm impressed "
Liam said
"And that's not even me at work."
I state when I get close to them still looking around the gorgeous space.
"Now I know why you are the best in this business."
He adds.
Oh, flattery will get him everywhere.
" I only pay for the best, you should know this by now."
Luke said with a smirk making me roll my eyes at him playfully and earn a chuckle from Liam.
"No how can I forget"
Both of them laughing.
It was around 5 already.
"Luke ?"
I said gaining both thy attention.
"I was wondering if it was ok if I just go home and not go back to the office seeing that it's already 5?"
I asked my eyes on my wristwatch.
"I'll drop you"
Liam said
"We get to spend even more time before our date"
He adds with a wink and I can't help but blush, and then see Luke looking at me wide eye.
"Like I was gonna tell you"
I said looking at Liam who gave an apologetic look.
I hear Luke laugh and he stalked towards me and engulf me in a bear hug.
"I'm glad you decided on this, I'm proud of you muffin"
It's not like I needed much convincing, have you seen his eyes?
He said kissing me on the forehead. He turned and looked at Liam with the most serious face I've ever seen Luke give anyone or had for that matter.
"If you hurt her, I will kill you, and I think you know that I mean it."
Liam was not fazed by Luke.
"You knowing how long I've waited, she'll hurt me before I hurt her."
And with that, both laughed and bro hugged each other while Luke said he believed that.
I'm a good girl, kinda.
Liam turns to me when he's done with Luke.
"Shall we?"
Putting his arm out for me.
I looked at Luke for reassurance and that's what he gave me.
"See you at home"
kissing my forehead again.
"We shall"
I said with a horrible British accent, made him and Luke throw their head back in laughter, as I join in as well.
Then I walked up to Liam and tangled our arms and we walked to his car.
On the drive home, he asked me simple questions, and I did the same to him, he is funny, I laughed the whole way I surprised myself as well.
After we got over the awkward stage, he made me feel comfortable.
Which is not easy to do, ask my therapist, haven't said a word to him in 5 years.
"I do remember you, you know"
I said after a few seconds of silence when the laughter had died down.
He looks at me for a second.
"Oh, yea?"
He asks with a small smile.
"At Luke's wedding"
I said making him laugh.
"I didn't even think you saw me that day, you were all over like a headless chicken"

We continued our small talk till we made it to my sisters' place.
He opened the door for me and walked me to the door.
"I can't wait for our date"
He said making me blush.
"Neither can I, but before all that I need something from you"
I said to which he nods.
" Anything"
he sad simply.
"I need you to be patient with me, I know I may be asking too much of you when we don't even know where this is headed"
He looked at me and smiled taking a step closer.
"I know where I want this to go, and anything you asked of me I would do it in a heartbeat"
At this point we are inches apart, since he is very tall I had to crane my neck to look at him.
"May I kiss you?"
He asked, I didn't trust my voice so I just nodded once.
I felt his hand on my neck and another on my waist, I stopped breathing as he pulled me closer to him and my arms had a mind of their own and they move to his shoulders and I grab onto his collar.
"Just say the word and I will stop"
He whispered against my lips when I started breathing hard.
Now you say?
I parted my lips a little, and he pressed his lips on mine.
I felt my knees buckle from under me, he pressed my tiny form on his big muscular body, taking the very last breath in my lungs.
Kiss of death
His kiss was gentle yet full of passion.
He caressed my bottom lip with his tongue asking for entrance which I granted and he deepened the kiss, when our tongues touched he groaned and I moaned, the sound from his chest just about left me in a paddle.
It was the sexiest thing I've ever heard and I wanted to hear him again, so I moved my hands to the nape of hair and ran my hands up the hair, and pulled it just a little.
I got rewarded with a deeper groan and his hands dug into my skin, pulling me close to his body.
His tongue roamed my mouth making me pull him into me if that was even possible.
Everything around me disappeared, he was the only thing that was existing, his lips on my mind, his tongue on mine, and his body on mine.
My poor heart, the blood rushing was the only thing I could hear and everything else stilled.
The world stopped spinning and it disappeared around us.
I drowned, he drowned me and I felt him drown with me, so much intensity my very soul was knocked out of my body.
Instantly addictive, and maddening desire washed over me as he continued to drown me in his essence.
We had to separate to get some air, our foreheads touching, my eyes still closed I felt my whole body buzzing and blood flowing in my ears could hear my heartbeat violently against my chest, my whole body was on fire at this point, and damn it, I wanted to burn.
"Perfection"
I heard a breathless Liam, I opened my eyes slowly only to find him looking at me, and I blushed, hard.
I felt fire in my lungs even as I draw air to them.
"Forgive me if I pushed"
he said
Push honey, push
"Not even"
I said slowly coming out of his embrace as he let go of me slowly so I can steady myself.
"See you at 8?"
He asked, I just nodded and he gave me on my lips and he pulled away made his way to his car. Before he entered he looked back
"I can't wait"
He said then entered his car and I entered the house and my sisters with big grins on thy faces
Oh man this is gonna be a long night
I said to myself closing the door.
