"So what are you trying to say?! That you stole my phone from him?!" I shouted at the third man. i'm here inside their house, they're sitting in front of me, and looks so frustrated with me. So what if they're frustrated?! I'm here because of ezekiel or isaiah whatever!
"Miss, hindi ko siya ninakaw okay? Iniwan niya 'to kanina sa 'kin kasi may pupuntahan siya.." Malumanay na aniya. The other two men are just quiet and almost laugh with the third man's words.
"He's living here?" I thought he's just alone? But, who are these men? His siblings? Oh definitely no, he said that he have no siblings, maybe these are his friends.
Nilibot ko ang mata ko sa buong bahay, it's just small, but I think kasya silang apat dito, simple lang, hindi madumi, at hindi rin malinis. Lol.
"Yup," the first man nodded.
"Where is he?" I asked them. Medyo kumalma na 'ko, you know, I, karylle ellie refuerzo, only calm when I know the truth.
Nagkatinginan silang tatlo. "Si isaiah? H-hindi rin namin alam, pero baka pumunta nanaman siya sa papa niya..o kaya..naghahanap ng trabaho.." the second man answered.
Kumunot ang noo ko, his dad? "B-but he said he have no dad.." why did he lie to me? They blinked twice. But before they could answer the third man's stomach..
"Did you eat?" I looked at them. Sabay sabay silang umiling. I blinked twice. Ang pagkakaalam ko, hapon na..wait don't tell me they did not eat lunch?!"Why?"
"Tss, yoong lalaking 'yon kasi! Kung sana ay hindi siya naginarte na magnakaw kagabi, edi may kinakain kami ngayo—" The first man closed the mouth of the second man to shut up. They smiled at me, awkwardly.
Oh my god, "Don't tell me you are all…thieves?!" my eyes widened. Pumikit sila ng mariin. But what do you expect karylle?! That ezekiel is a thief! What do you expect with these three?!
"P-pwede bang hinaan mo naman ang boses mo?" I let out a heavy sigh, calming down myself. Hindi naman siguro sila masasamang tao ano?
"Okay.." tumango-tango ako. I decided to order food online, my stomach can't just leave them here, starving. They smiled and asked my name..actually they're not bad guys, maybe ezekiel's reason that night, is the reason of these three too. I wonder how could they live that life? Why they don't work instead of stealing things?
"Karylle," I offered my hand.
"James.." the first man accept my hand.
"Josh.." the second man, did the same.
"Jake.." and the last man.
I nodded. "Kaano-ano niyo si ezekiel?"
"Sa wakas pre nagtagalog din!" Jake shouted. I arched my eyebrow. It's not even that big deal. Pinatahimik siya no'ng james. Si josh naman ay tumatawa.
"Kami? Kaibigan, magkakaibigan kami.." james smiled. Sa kanilang tatlo, mukha siya ang pinaka matanda, wala lang, he's just looks matured. I nodded.
Few minutes passed my order arrived, I paid and gave the foods to them, they even offered me, but I said i'm full, well yes i'm full. I'm just watching them, eating, I feel so happy, i'm just like their mother ahihihi..but I don't want to be a mother, lol.
"Paano kayo nagkakilala ni isaiah?" Josh asked while they're eating.
"Why all of a sudden?" I whispered. "Nagnakaw siya sa 'min–no hindi siya kumuha ng kahit ano kasi nakita–no, should I say..tinutukan niya ako ng kutsilyo, he's really bad and I hate him so much that night, uhmm until now." I rolled my eyes.
"Paano napunta sakanya yung cellphone mo?" Jake asked.
"Uhm, I gave that to him," I pouted.
"Bakit?" James asked. Why they are asking me?
"He said he need money so I gave my phone to him, I said sell it but he didn't listen, look nandyan pa din.." I pouted more, but I admit that i'm happy that he didn't sell it.
"Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit ayaw niya ibenta, kahit siguro mamatay na kami sa gutom hindi niya ibebenta yan..tss." Jake said.
"Why naman?" Kumunot ang noo ko. Maybe he don't have phone and he need it? Pero kung may tatay naman pala siya eh bakit hindi siya manghingi ng pera?
Nagkibit balikat siya. "May cellphone naman 'yon.." Then why? Maybe he's guilty? He did not even stole that to me, I gave that so why is he not selling it, then?
"So, you said he has dad.." I suddenly opened the topic.
"Yup," james nodded. "Yung papa niya mayari ng isang company, kaso nga lang, ayaw niyang sumama sa papa niya..mas pinili niyang humiwalay doon at mabuhay ng sarili, hindi ko alam kung bakit, at tuwing naghahanap siya ng trabaho, laging humahanap ng paraan ang papa niya para hindi siya matanggap, ang gusto kasi ng papa niya..sumama siya ulit doon para mapagaral.." nagulat ako. he's not really poor? His dad owns a company? Wow, but why he don't want to be with his dad? He maybe hate his dad so much? But why?
"Where is his mom?" I asked.
James blinked twice. "Ang sabi niya, wala na daw.." Napaawang ang bibig ko at tumango-tango.
"How about siblings? Any siblings?" I asked him again.
He shook his head again. "Mag-isa lang siya, pero ang alam ko ay may kapatid siya sa ibang pamilya ng papa niya.." May ibang pamilya ang papa niya?
Tumango-tango ako, kahit onti ay atleast ay may alam ako sa buhay niya.
But why I need to know his life?! I-I don't care about his life 'no!
"Bakit ka nagtatanong?" Mapangasar na tanong ni jake.
"I-i'm just asking!" I shouted.
"May gusto ka ba kay isaiah? Ikaw ah!" Josh teased me too. My cheeks heated.
"W-wala! I don't like him!"
"Sus, sinungaling!" Jake shouted. They laughed so I pity myself, pinagtutulungan nila ako!
But before I could shout, the door opened and I saw..ezekiel. his dark eyes reached my eyes.
"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" galit na tanong niya. These three stopped from eating.
"I-I'm....here's your jacket.." I don't know why I feel so scared, oh god. Tinignan niya ang mga pagkain sa lamesa akala ko ay matutuwa siya ngunit mas lalo pa siyang nagalit.
Marahas niyang hinawakan ang braso ko at hinila palabas.
"Pre!" I heard james's shout before we went out the house.
"Aray ko ezekiel! Let go of me!" Hinila niya ako sa lugar na walang gaanong tao. Marahas niya akong binitawan.
"What the heck is your problem–"
"Ikaw ang problema ko! Ano pa bang ginagawa mo dito?! Akala ko ba tapos na 'ko sa 'yo? Why are you still here?!" he shouted. Omygod, si he shouting?
"Ako? Bakit ako? Paano mo 'ko naging problema?! I'm just here to bring your jacket back! And why are you shouting?! Why are you so angry, huh?!" I yelled too.
Nagtiim-bagang siya at ginulo ang buhok. "Nandito ka para ibalik yong walang kwentang jacket na 'yon?!" eh shouted again.
"Oo! Oo nandito ako para sa walang kwentang jacket mo! Naghirap pa 'ko kakahanap kung saan ka nakatira para ibalik yang walang kwentang jacket na 'yan!" My blood is boiling, bakit kailangan niyang sumigaw?!
"Wala akong pakialam kung naghirap ka kakahanap sa 'kin! Ni hindi ko nga sinabi na pumunta ka dito, walang nagsasabing Ibalik mo 'yong jacket ko! Wala ellie, wala!" Sa hindi malamang dahilan, tumulo ang luha ko.
Totoo nga naman, bakit pa 'ko nandito?
"I just want to bring that back..why are you so angry? Did I do something wrong?" I whispered.
Pumikit siya ng mariin. "Umuwi ka na, at wag ka nang bumalik pa dito.." mahinahon na aniya at tinalikuran ako. He started to walk.
"Isaiah!" I shouted. He stopped from walking. "You son of a bitch! Ikaw na nga 'tong tinutulungan ikaw pa 'tong galit! At wag kang magalala! Hindi na 'ko babalik pa dito! At sana hindi ko na rin makita yang pagmumukha mo!" Sumigaw ako at tumakbo na paalis sa lugar na 'yon. I don't want to see him again! Hinding hindi na!
