Huh? Guess I got further than I thought while grinding pvp battles, were alot of new characters made for an event or something? Either way i had to get on, flipped through the new Eula....holy crap, software to spy on me will be left on my console even after I uninstall this game!?! WTF Bethesda!?!
Alright finish this quest and factory reset I guess. The app gives me location names, which I have to google, to find my targets, they accept pvp and I manage to win 5 in a row, they then tease me for chugging health potions. The others aren't online but that was amazing. Now to the library!
After jogging to the library I discover it is....closed....never reopened after covid, was running on a skeleton crew before so it makes sense but yeesh. Jog back to my apartment and use the Amazon library. Loads of tiny kids books there, I swear I doubt any I read have over a hundred words. After I read 50 I stop to eat then head to my friends field where I can chop down the brush.
Few hours later my hands and back are sore, but hopefully I made some kinda progress. have a late lunch with my friend and refuse a ride so I can jog back, naturally the police stop me but twenty dollars later I'm jogging free with my axe still. Getting back to my apartment I put away the vegetables and start a soup stock with a diced onion and green pepper. Out of force of habit I add a few worms, but otherwise was a fairly normal chicken soup.
Checking the app again I look to see if I ever got a skill for eating worms...what?
Eating Worms: Digest larval helminth 0.1% more effectively, absorb the worms 0.1% more quickly
.....what? Looking up the larva thing I momentarily freak out, but I've been cooking the worms I eat so it should be fine and make that part useless to me unless i end up in some survival scenario, ugh. My point balance is 811, still need abit more for another game and I know just the game to boost me next. First level skills give me just 1 point each but are easiest to earn, question is what skills should I go for?

Tried getting skills for writing individual letters but no luck now what?
Right before bed I go out and find as many sticks as I can and snap them into the smallest pieces I can, before bed i check for a skill.
Breaking Sticks: Takes 0.1% less stamina become 0.1% more resilient to splinters.
With that I fall asleep, waking up in my cot I check my pets, they've all learned Wading, 3 learned cannibalism. Dunno what I expected but still feel abit disappointed. Time to push over saplings for some breakfast then try grinding some skills. Wait can my skills go higher? Pretty sure level 5 was the limit till you rank up or something but when I read it day before yesterday don't recall seeing that.
Bug Tamer lv6: 0/3200 Bugs you tame will grow 10% faster and will be 9% more loyal to you.
Yell lv6: 0/3200 You can shout 21% louder for 18% longer, your shouts are now 5% more intimidating.
Shoddy Tools lv7: 0/3200 Shoddy Tools you use will be 35% more durable and 14% more effective.
Rock Carving lv6: 0/3200 Rocks will be 18% easier to carve and 24% less likely to crack when you don't want them to, your carvings will be of 2% higher quality.
You have unlocked the skill Limit Abuse, Limit Abuse lv1 0/49500 Decrease the experience of all skills beyond your level by 1%, new skill penalty reduced by 1%.
Well dang, this will definitely help but leveling it will be a nightmare. New skill penalty...its not mentioned in detail but I think I remember it briefly described how in this game the more skill you have the harder it is to get new ones through random actions.. Lessening that will give me new ones but will also make me less focused. Crap I'm still just camping, training bugs, and exercising abit, how the hell am I not OP yet?!? Gotta get a serious direction, increasing my learning speed and survival were what I prioritized but the changes have been miniscule. Don't think my direction is wrong but unlike the MC of TLM I don't know all the ends and out of this game nor even my current location.
Unless I choose to travel I can only rely on myself and my bugs. My progress has been slow but steady, so I'll try doing more with my bugs. Maybe something like a blood bond? No, not yet at least if I die I'll lose all the opportunities to train here, so less crazy options first. But some type of blood training could be good? Boosting my regeneration and immune system would both be great, but how do I do that without risk? Heck getting some form of poison resistance would likely be easier. If I warp some soft sticks into a ring then place them into the baggy I can fill it part way with dirt then safely carry the tamed ones, maybe they'll get new skills that way? Shifting around my pets is easy, they all have wade, the ones who have cannibalism go into the improve jar and the rest begin cannibal training, I push over a couple trees to get plenty more for the wade training.
Hours after walking and exploring I find some berry bushes, I gather a couple handfuls before heading back to camp. I build 2 more "cages" one inside my shelter, the one outside I fill with grubs and 2 worms, then smush the berries all around it so they'll constantly be presented with this "food". Then I build another layer on my sad shack before eating some worms, say goodnight to my new roommates, and turning in for the night.
