My shelter is finally...almost complete, the walls are up and very solid but the roof, I cant seem to get, I've tossed some branches across it but I want a complete mini log cabin. Got a bug teaching skill that boosts thier learning speed and a bug empathy skill that does very little very well, I feel a tiny speck of what they feel which makes handling them way easier, feel good I'm doing it right feel bad I'm doing it wrong, but when I tame a ton and spread them out I get a warped tremor sense hardly perfect but I can tell the direction of things moving are and how solid the ground under me is. The worms also now tame thier children for me, which nets me loads of experience. The grubs have stated becoming beetles, hoping I'll get a metamorphosis skill that boosts thier growth there too. The empathy is also shared amongst all my pets so they are much better at surviving than you'd think, and it gives them a +1 to mysterious so they are better at attracting mates. After weeks of training and mimicking worms I finally managed to emulate them, got a super weird active ability to bore....head first. Got good enough at crafting tools to get a primitive tool skill instead of the "shoddy" one. Also managed to level up the skill that reduces experience requirements. Now to level everything up again!

My worms are getting me almost unlimited experience but without more skills I can't do much. Maybe I should leave the camp? Hate to but it's not doing me much good anymore, if I move I've gotta stay somewhat safe but how? Building another shelter less than a days walk away should be safe but aside from slow and boring it'd also use up the areas resources faster. Bold decisions are wise more often than we like to admit, but I'm not ready for the risk just yet.
Before traveling I need some armor, simple deer skin leather would be something, my worm network tells me when they pass nearby but I have nothing but crappy spears to threaten them with. Without skill and experience that's useless, got enough points for another game, should I focus on hunting, learning, crafting or survival? Technically I could hunt deer in ESO but really dont wanna reinstall that and I need some spear skills, ideally wooden spears but I'll take what I can get. I've gotta move gotta find a town but also gotta grind up some skills, if I could get energy before reaching town thatd be a huge boon, the extra attributes points would make me ten times as strong. Well might as well finish the roof... a few dumb mistakes and about 5 hours later I had a stable but somewhat ugly roof on my shack, imagine a log cabin roof held together with shoestring and bubble gum, only I used vines and tree sap.
