"Who are you?" Stephanie asked, a disgusted look on her face that went against the pure appearance of pale blonde hair and pale blue eyes with her sun kissed skin.
"Oh? Is this one of your guys freaky friends?" She said, pushing past us before I could answer her question which was apparently rhetorical.
"Freaky?" I questioned, not liking the tone that she spoke to us.
"Yeah, you look like one." She said, sneering at the way that I was now glaring at her.
"I'd watch your tone if I were you." I said, shooting down her attempt to gain dominance in this situation.
"Or what? I'm more powerful than whatever magic your ugly body holds so I think it's the other way around." She said, getting in my face now.
"She's more prettier than you could ever be." Ariel interjected, saying something that Stephanie obviously did not like.
"What did you say?" She said, her eyes narrowing towards Ariel instead of me now in her attempted scary glare which seems to work for some people like Ariel but not me.
"Uh carry on. Don't mind me." Ariel said, hiding behind Zora.
"Don't talk to Ariel like that." I said, not liking how she was choosing to belittle Ariel in a moment where me and Zora appeared to not be affected her high and mighty act.
"What did you say?" She screeched in my face.
"You asked that two times already. I'm wondering if your deaf or plain brain dead and phew. Get out my face because that breath." I said, moving back so she'd get out of my personal space and waving my hand in a form of a fan in front of me.
"You b*tc h." She said, her hand coming up in midair but before she could slap me and I would end up in more hot water because I would most likely hit her back than I already was if she told the principal, I was able to stop her last minute.
"What are you doing to me?" She said, her hand in midair and apparently unable to be moved.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I said, an innocent look on my face as I smiled at her.
"You witch! Let go of me!" She said, screeching while I kept my hold on her with my powers.
"Is being a witch supposed to be an insult?" I answered, letting her go. As soon as she retained control on her body, she pulled her hand back and the nasty look remained plastered on her face.
"You're not worth of my time." She finally said, running into her room after realizing that the insults she threw at me currently got her nowhere.
"That was awesome!" Ariel said after the sight of Stephanie was gone.
"How'd you do that?" Zora asked, curious on how I controlled her just like that.
"A magician never reveals her secret." I said smiling at them before laughing at the absurdity of my entire day so far.
"Dove you are now my role model." Ariel said, getting on her knees as if kneeling before me.
"What are you doing?" I asked, confused on why she was kneeling before me.
"Please let me be your apprentice and protect me because I'm pretty sure I'll be murdered soon." Ariel said, referring to how Stephanie will probably try to get back at her for what happened.
"Oh lord." Zora said, facepalming at the way that Ariel was borderline bowing before me.
"I would be honored." I said before we all started laughing.
---
"What did I do in my life to get here?" I said to Zora who was sitting besides me as we listened to Stephanie's screeches- I mean singing from the bathroom.
"I don't know but it was something bad." She replied.
"I guess this is the start of hell." I said back, cringing at the piercing screech that just exited her mouth followed by the loud music. Realizing that this was not working out well, Ariel came out of her room and handed me and Zora noise blocking headphones and took out a notebook and a pen.
'This is a daily thing for an hour.'
Ariel wrote on one of the pieces of paper since that was the only way our ears wouldn't bleed but we could still communicate with each other.
'How long is left?' I asked before Zora put up 2 fingers followed with a 0.
Great 20 minutes of torture to go.
----
After the shower session had finished, we could hear Stephanie talking on the phone with someone in her room most likely talking smack but I'll choose that any day over her screeches.
We all looked through my clothes since I gave them all full permission to access my closet whenever they pleased, and ended up finally creating an outfit for each and now it was..drum roll everyone...fashion show time!
Ariel entered the closet first, blowing a kiss our way as we jokingly whistled at her.
"Okay that's the one." I said to Ariel as she twirled in the outfit after she exited the closet.
"It really is." Zora said, agreeing with me.
It was a simple outfit consisting of a red and back thin stripes crop top with a black skater skirt.
"Just wear the black shoes and voila I think the outfit is made. Not too much but just enough." I said, applauding her as if I was apart of the audience in a fashion show.
"Thank you thank you I'd like to thank my parents-" Ariel said before giggling.
"Zora your turn!" I said, pushing her into the closet.
We already had chosen the outfits based on everyone's styles and now we were just wearing them.
When Zora came out she was in a pair of black rippled skinny jeans and a thrasher crop top hoodie. The amount of time it took for us to opt out of sweats was approximately one hour.
"I think I'm in love." I said, liking the way the outfit looked on her figure.
"Damn same. I call dibs." Ariel said, her body right next to mine as we were flipped on our stomachs on our bed since it was right across the entrance/exit of the closet.
"I like it too." Zora said, looking at herself in the mirror.
"Here's your shoes." Ariel said, pointing at the simple shoes on the side of the bed.
"My turn!" I said, jumping off the bed and snatching the clothes before I went in.
The outfit was pretty simple, just like I wanted. It was a type of mustard yellow crop top that had full sleeves. I paired it with some simple black high wasted shorts and worse simple white shoes and socks with them.
"What do you guys think?" I said, emerging out of the closet after a pep talk that I looked fine and didn't look fat in the outfit.
When I exited and looked, Ariel was on the bed submerged in the contents of her phone while Zora was putting some lipgloss.
"Girl your so hot and I don't know how you do it." Zora complimented, boosting my self love.
"Aw shucks don't make me blush." I replied.
"Ariel? Aren't you going to profess your love to her?" Zora asked while Ariel didn't utter a peep as she stared at her phone.
"So Dove, do you have a boyfriend?" Ariel said from her place on the bed.
As a response I snorted before saying "As if."
"You sure?" Ariel asked, her face glued to her phone.
"Yeah, why..?" I asked, confused on what she was implying.
"Wait I thought you didn't know who Kai was." Zora added, looking at her phone.
"I don't. What are you guys talking about?" I said, finally going over to look at what those two were staring at.
"Look." Ariel pointed and there it was: the point where my life was doomed.
The angle the picture was taken, was completely misleading since it appeared as if me and the guy from outside my uncles office were kissing. It was probably when I was threatening him and he was teasing me, the opposite of the events of a kiss.
"F*ck."
