Uriel didn't move. Arakna looked different, but she was no longer the same. She carried a demons weapon the just engulfed the air of evil. Uriel shook his head. No, he thought. Arakna would never choose this.
"Arakna." He said sternly.
Arakna stumbled as she turned toward Uriel.
Arakna looked at him were her blood red eyes, leaped in the air, and slammed the axe down. The force of Arakna's strength made Uriel dig into the ground. Her axe had been stopped by his blue energy force.
"Please Arakna," Uriel pleaded, "I don't want to do this."
Arakna's red force came out starting to swing out and hit Uriel's blue wall. Slams echoed in the night sky, as with each hit Arakna wanted to kill Uriel.
Razo sat watching the angel speak to Arakna, then Arakna attacking the angel. Does he know her? Razo thought. He looked at his wound which was mostly healed now, but there was this black etching from the tainted weapon. He looked back up when he heard the angel plead. He felt a heaviness in his chest. It had been awhile since he felt this, his hand gripping his shirt. The last time he'd felt this was when his partner, Eurice, without hesitation tried to kill him. Yet, here was this angel, not wanting to kill Arakna who'd lost to her demon.
"Fuck." He said under his breath.
He flew into the air, his gold hair glowing through the cool night air. Sunrise was starting to come up. With its soft pink and orange, something about it was soothing. I'm getting fucking soft, Razo thought to himself. He smirked, slamming into Arakna. His gold wings now covered the angel.
Uriel looked at this demon who'd he'd met earlier, now covering him. What was going on? He wondered.
"I don't know what to do." Uriel finally stated.
"Neither do I, but I think we need to get that demon weapon away." Razo stated. Just then Razo flew back into the air, looking down. Arakna's eyes were set on Uriel, like a hunter who caught sent of their prey. Landing further away, his wings turned gold, and he started to release his hardened feathers at Arakna.
A distraction, I have to be a distraction, he thought.
Arakna slammed the weapon when she heard clinks. Gold feathers had started to fly at her. She turned to look a this demon with no thought. She was like a mindless halfbreed who gave into her demon.
The demon within her wanted to kill, Razo thought. It was nothing like his demon, who in his opinion wasn't that bad. He chuckled to himself. Why the hell was he thinking like this during a battle.
Arakna leapt into the air, her red energy flinging wildly, when suddenly blue energy wrapped around her arms and swung her toward the ground. Arakna slammed her feet into the ground, debris flew into the air. She immediately looked at Uriel, who was already on top of her, forcing her down with his blue force. He grabbed the demon weapon, screaming in pain, he ripped it out of her hands and threw it. Smoke came from his hands, as they trembled from excruciating pain. He fell on his knees, looking at Arakna who had started walking toward him.
"Please Arakna..." he pleaded once more.
Arakna stopped in front of Uriel. She looked down, studying his short white hair. When then he looked up with his sky blue eyes. They looked....sad. Arakna's eyes stopped glowing red. They turned back into her reddish-purple eyes. She'd seen this in human eyes when Elle talked about her late husband or when Ian looked at a distant. Do angels feel sadness?
She fell on her knees in front of Uriel, grabbing his hands.
"Did I do this?" She asked concerned.
"I did this to myself." Uriel stated.
Arakna shook her head looking down, "You can't be here. It's forbidden."
"I waited for you."
Arakna looked up at Uriel's sky blue eyes, why? She wanted to ask, but she didn't want to. If he kept going this way he would be tainted.
"You need to leave."
"I want to stay."
Lucias came walking up with Elle's body in tow, Ian walking by his side. Lucias stopped, raising an eyebrow, when he saw Arakna holding Uriel's burnt hands.
"We have to go now." Lucias said sternly.
Arakna let go of Uriel's hands and stood up.
"I'll take her." She said as she reached for Elle. Lucias passed her over without looking at Arakna, keeping his eyes on Uriel who stayed on his knees, looking at his hands.
Lucias grabbed Uriel by his shirt, pulling him up.
"Uriel, now." He said as he leapt in the air, spreading his white wings. His faced was covered by his long white wavy hair, but now his ocean blue eyes glared at Arakna.
Uriel's blue eyes looked at Arakna, once more.
"You need to go." Arakna said simply.
"I'll come back."
"Don't."
"I will."
"Damnit, Uriel!" Arakna exclaimed.
Uriel blinked and tilted his head in confusion.
"Please, don't come back." Arakna said, looking at the ground.
Uriel flew up into the air, who now looked to see Lucias wrapping an item, then leaping back into the air. Lucias flew next to him, "We can't leave this here." He gestured to the demon weapon.
Uriel nodded in agreement.
"We might be able to find out a little more about the owner that was dismembered by your once partner." He snickered.
Uriel's eyes trailed to the pieces of flesh on the ground that seemed stained with blood.
With a nod, they both flew away.
Razo stared at the angel with long wavy hair. He didn't know why he didn't notice before, but there was something familiar about him. Odd, he wondered.
