Arakna and Lucias flew out of the garden and started to head toward the human world. The sun was starting to peak out, revealing its brightness. Colors sat warmly in the sky, it was going to be a nice day. Arakna looked around, "Where are we?"
"Oh yeah, when we come from that garden, you'll tend to land elsewhere. A new trick God has implemented since the rebellion took a turn."
Lucias' long wavy hair turned black and he looked back at Arakna with his hazel eyes. Arakna's purplish-silver started to come through and here eye color once again were multicolored.
"You don't fear anyone finding out you are a halfbreed?" Arakna asked.
"I'm not a halfbreed, such as yourself. Halfbreeds are turned. Halfbreeds are forced angels taken to be inflicted with severe torture to birth hatred and desire in hopes that they choose to be evil. Of course, that requires you to defeat that demon within yourself if you choose to be good."
Lucias looked at Arakna's chains and grabbed her wrist to take a closer look, when Arakna yanked her arm back, "I don't like being touched."
Lucias smiled and said lightly, "You tempt me."
Arakna looked at him confused, when he pulled out two small swords from behind his back. Unsheathing one he explained, "Hold still." As he swung swiftly cutting through the locks that once held Arakna prisoner.
Arakna rubbed her wrist and ankles,
"Thank you."
Lucias sheathed the sword and handed her both swords, "They're not the ones you had, but you will need them."
Lucias sat down and stared at the sunrise. Arakna grabbed her chains to read the inside that had the angels language revealing 'Borak'.
"Yeah, about that. The demon that bound you was Borak, part the 13th council of Hell. He was able to find you because of his blood on he seal. God explained that after seeing the weapon. As God said, 'Every weapon of war reveals the story of the weilder.' After He touched it, He learned about Borak. Turns out kidnapping you specifically was part of their plan."
"I don't understand the vagueness."
"He needs you to make your own choices, just as these humans. Angels never are revealed that they even have a choice. Tainted as I am, I have a choice, but no demon will ever take over me unless I continue to do evil things."
"What have you chosen?"
"I choose to fight for God's Kindgom. You know the cruelty Lucifer will place upon the humans. Humans indulge in the lesser evil such as lust and think of it as a good thing. One should indulge in something that pleases, right? What they fail to see-" Lucias stood up, "-is the evil inflicted upon them and then they ask God to save them."
"Does that anger you?" Arakna asked.
"Anger? More like displeases me. Halfbreeds were unwilling and now not allowed into His Kingdom. These humans continue to indulge in the devil's desires and then ask to be forgiven. Our kind may be forgiven, but there is no change on the purity." Lucias slowly looked down, as if he was silently thinking, "I must leave now."
Arakna smiled lightly, "Thank you again. I forget at times that you were my friend too."
Lucias smiled and patted Arakna's shoulder, then walked off. Arakna was surprised that he didn't fly off, but that must mean others were nearby. She should be careful, she thought.
Arakna looked back at Lucias who now seemed barely visible. She'll fly up when given more space and look around the land, she thought. Luckily, she'd done a lot of routine flying to scout the land, it should be fairly easy to pinpoint where she was at. Arakna started to sense some demons, they felt fairly weak, but one seemed almost as strong as her. If she turned away, she's sure they'd follow her. Best to continue, she thought. She knew she also needed to learn to control her demon. Arakna walked through some brush, which exposed some demons sitting around a fire. They'd had makeshift tents and cargo scattered everywhere. In the middle was a demon tied up, sitting against a wooden pole, looking as though he'd been sleeping. Arakna looked at the other demons that had now stopped chattering. She glanced at the four low-leveled demons, wearing all black, looking more beast-like. Fangs came out of their mouths, their eyes black, two had black hair, while the other two red.
They stood up, "What do you want half-breed?" One snarled at her.
Arakna looked at them, glanced at their prisoner, then pointing at him stated, "I don't understand how a stronger demon is held prisoner by four weaker ones?"
The demons burst out in laughter. Their bellies looked as if they popped out, their shoulders went up and down , as they continued toppling over in their own enjoyment. Arakna started walking toward the prisoner, knelt beside him, when suddenly it grew silent and the demons no longer were humored, "Get away from our prisoner, unless you want to join him."
One demon drooled and giggled, "How about we keep her?"
They all started giggling, nodding in agreement. Just then Arakna heard a sigh next to her. She turned her head to see this short black haired demon snap the ropes on his wrist, starting to stand up. She stood up along with him, watching him ruffle his black feathers, he turned to Arakna with his silver eyes, "Well you blew my cover." He said with a charming smile, his golden demon mark on his neck.
