Chapter 4 - Chapter 2: Lost

Arakna stumbled, not knowing where to go. Her chains clinked and she felt so tired. She hated how she felt tired, angels don't have this problem. She plopped down in exhaustion. That's right, angels don't have this problem and she's no angel, nor demon. Her knees bent up, leaning forward, and her head faced the ground. She didn't want to admit the truth to herself. She closed her eyes and sighed. "I'm a halfbreed." She said to herself.

She looked up at the sky. It was blue with a tint of orange and pink, it would be nightfall soon and she still had no shelter. How did this happen? She thought. She tried to remember, but it seemed to go in a dark blackness. She closed her eyes, knowing that all she could do was sleep.

Arakna was in fighting. She had full silver armor as she swung her sword. She heard a deep sinister voice yell "Now!" when metal chains that formed a blanket landed on her. Suddenly, she felt this burning sensation all over her body. She screamed in pain, what was this? She'd never seen demons do this. They kidnapped lower level angels, but she was a higher angel. Would they kill her? No, she knew they wouldn't.

The same dark voice came closer, "You'll make a great new addition." It pauses next to her. "We needed someone like you. And to thank you....." she felt a sword pierce her back. She screamed when the she felt her body burn again.

"We're going to make a great demon out of you."

"You'll never have me! I will never fight for you!" Arakna forced out passed the pain. The voice chuckled back.

"You will, maybe if you're lucky you can be my pet."

Uriel, she thought. Forgive me.

Arakna sat up breathing fast. A dream, a dream of memories she wished she hadn't seen. Uriel, she looked up at the sky. Uriel was her partner picked by God himself. She'd left to look at something suspicious without informing him when she was taken. It didn't matter now. Angels were forbidden to speak to halfbreeds. Halfbreeds had demon in them. Uriel probably thought she was dead anyways. She didn't even know how long she was a prisoner. Arakna turned around at her scorched wings. She saw a hint of silver coming through. Interesting, she thought. Her wings were once white. She heard a twig snap and immediately looked toward the sounds direction. "Who's there?" She calls out. A little face peeled out behind a tree. It was a little boy, he couldn't be any older than seven. She never handled little kids. She looked around awkwardly, getting up.

"Are you an angel?" His little voice asked.

"No."

"You look like one."

Arakna paused, here she was a halfbreed and this innocence thought she was an angel.
