Razo sat there at the tree, feeling the breeze flow through his golden hair . Tied up like a boar, he thought. Why did he have to be weak? He wondered. He looked at the sky. God or Father condemned them to be like this. Angels to be tortured and forced to become halfbreeds or demons. Halfbreeds hadn't chose either side, but a demon chose to defy God. He hadn't lost his mind completely to the demon inside. He just preferred to do what he wanted. Yeah, he smiled to himself.
"Fuck you Father." He said under his breath staring at the clouds. He closed his eyes thinking about what that halfbreed asked him to do.
Unfortunately for this halfbreed, his master planned for this to happen. Hoping that this halfbreed would take him in. What he hated most was being a pawn. He was just a piece of the puzzle, but he can't even see the big picture. His master was a halfbreed himself and always seemed to come and go. Razo always wanted to go along, but his master always said, "It is not your place to know, but you are important to make this work."
Make what work? He thought. He didn't even know his master's name. This is bullshit, now I have to fucking babysit some stupid human woman and her pathetic little lamb, he thought.
It was quiet when his thoughts trailed off to his once partner Eurice. Fuck Eurice too. He could see her medium length white hair and blue eyes. All this time and he could still remember a partner who never looked for him. Sure angels are forbidden to talk to our kind, but if it had been Eurice in his position he'd like to think he would've tried to save her. His eyes gleamed gold, his demon filled with anger started to seep out. He felt himself breathing harder, "No." he said to himself. "I won't lose myself to that." he growled. With that he felt calm again. He'd accept the proposition, since it was part of the plan. He just didn't know the humans would be part of the package. He'd have to be at his best to not kill them. What did his master gain from all of this? He hit the back of his head against the tree. Whatever the case, he'll play along. Just like he always does, because he just wants to live and be free.
Arakna looked at the skies pink and orange hue.
"Do you really have to go?" Elle asked. Elle's eyebrows tensed, "Do we really need that demon's protection?"
Arakna glanced at Elle and nodded. With that, she spread her wings and leaped into the air without looking back.
"Mom? Is Arakna leaving us?" Ian asked looking up at Elle.
"Yes dear, but don't worry. She'll be fine, she's much stronger than us."
"I know, but what if she gets sad?"
Elle looked at her sons glistening brown eyes, "What makes you think she'll get sad?"
Ian looked at some birds flying home before dark, "If I get sad sometimes, because dad is gone. She'll get sad we are gone too."
Elle smiled sadly and wrapped her around the little boy's shoulder, "Then we will be here waiting for her when she needs us, yeah?"
Ian smiled at the thought, "Yeah."
Just then, the leaves in the trees started to thrash. Then there was a loud slam into the ground. Rocks flew up, making Elle wrap her arms around Ian to protect him. Elle looked around when she saw a tall man with wide black wings. His black clothes looked fringed and his fingers looked almost as if they were long claws. He stretched his wings out when he turned his head towards her. His eyes were pure black and saliva dropped from his mouth, he grinned at the sight of her.
Elle felt as if time had stopped, but she felt her heart race. With wide eyes and trembling fear she shoved Ian toward their home and screamed, "RUN!"
