Chapter 31 - Chapter Thirty-one

He shaked her hand, revealing a grin.

Once they finished eating, the dish disappeared, so that they could order something else.

"Tacos with guacamole and cheddar cheese on the side."

Roselyn said, getting used to the system of that place.

Andreas curved his lips moving his head to express his approbation for the choice.

"Good taste."

Roselyn whispered.

"Never doubted it since the first day, when you already had a huge crush on me."

He replied as the corners of his mouth turned up.

"Shut up, that's not true."

Roselyn complained, rolling her eyes. She was denying it but deeply down she was aware of the fact that she was so attracted to him since the first day she'd seen him.

"He's so hot but he's such an asshole, o. Em. Gee!"

He voiced out in an feminine voice trying to imitate her.

Roselyn tried to hold back laughter, and proceeded in pretending to be angry, she folded her arms and was gazing at him with an eyebrow raised.

"Wait, are you calling me fat for wearing this suit??"

He continued and his voice got higher.

"You're not funny."

She tried to clench her teeth to hold back laughter but instead ended up laughing aloud.

He smiled and leaned him to kiss her softly.

But a voice interrupted the moment:

"Oh wow seems like he finally became a man!"

It was a tall muscled man which looked very alike Andreas but his eyes were black and his hair was way shorter.

"What are you doing here, David?"

Andreas questioned, his voice became so low, and his eyebrow frowned. He seemed very irritated to see him.

"Just wanted to see how my little brother was."

Andreas scoffed at his answer and put his hands on his head shutting his eyes like if he was trying to remain calm.

"Sorry to ruin the moment but.."

Roselyn barely heard what that guy said when in a few seconds they appeared in what seemed like the garden of an abandoned house, fog was everywhere almost covering anything and preventing the sight.

When David lowered his hand a huge wave of fire was strongly thrown against Andreas, it was so fast and prominent that Roselyn screamed fearing that it may kill him.

But Andreas clenched his fists sucking in the fire in a blink of eye, making it seem easy.

Wow, she's never seen him in action but he seemed so powerful.

"Not now."

Andreas said, glancing at him.

"Why? You're afraid she could see?"

That terrifying guy replied, gazing at Roselyn and stretching his hand open toward her direction.

Roselyn closed her eyes instinctively, fearing the worst.

Andreas appeared in front of her and nodded no to him.

"Look at him. He seems to care for someone else beyond himself once in his life. This will be even more fun."

He smirked. He turned around and whistled. From the fog appeared a huge gold dragon surrounded by flames, it flew circularly upon him to finally dive close to him.

Andreas gazed at Roselyn from the corner of his eye.

'Back off'

She could hear his voice on her mind, yet she was too scared to move. She was feeling like her feet were stuck on the ground.

That dragon roared at Roselyn and Andreas both.

Andreas pushed Roselyn back and whistled.

His dragon in a few seconds appeared, flying majestically and emanating blue sparks.

Tyron dived in front of his owner, facing David's dragon.

His wings retracted on its back leaning to inhale and groan powerfully.

David's dragon backed off but just to take a run and roared loudly confronting it.

All Roselyn could see was a mix of fire flames.

While Andreas was looking at Tryon, another dragon appeared in the fog.

"Andreas!"

Roselyn called him but it was too late and the second creature in a heartbeat threw itself against Andreas.

Tyron, seeing his owner in danger, inhaled, firing his breath and spat an immense wave of fire that quickly set fire to all the surrounding ground. David's second dragon roared in pain, as it was hit by the fire and shook his wings to recover from the pain..

Andreas, meanwhile hit a rock and laid unconscious on the ground, he was injured on his head and was bleeding. Dragons were enormous compared to humans, he was hit so strong that he might be dead.

Roselyn rushed to help him, she raised him from the floor and was trying to carry the body.

"Gorlax!" David yelled and his first dragon flew in front of Rose. The animal was so enormous that she barely could see his face.

"I don't know if my dragon should fight you or if I should do it myself. What do you think?"

He showed a confident smile.

Even though the dragons were fighting meters away from them she could still feel the flames. She couldn't imagine how hard it would be to fight probably one of the most dangerous creatures in the entire world.

"You seem so innocent."

He noted, checking her upside down.

"Before I kill you, let me inform you that you have no choice with my brother. He's not capable of love, he's never loved our parents nor me. He's probably using you like he does with every other girl."

He scoffed.

"Or maybe he is capable of love. You just didn't deserve it."

Roselyn spat, frowling. Then managed to lay gently Andreas' body on the side.

He raised an eyebrow and took a step in front of him. Roselyn swallowed trying not to make him notice her fear.
