Chapter 34 - Chapter thirty four

From his wound emerged some purple flows and smokes, Andreas clenched his teeth to bear the pain. He screamed in pain as Margaret's voice lowered keeping emanating essences from the wound successfully was slowly healing him.

When the wound was healed completely Margaret turned around to gaze at Rose:

"so David had dragons?"

She questioned, raising her eyebrow suspiciously.

Roselyn nodded.

"And how ever did you manage to survive without a scratch?"

Margaret's asked gazing at her body harmless but Roselyn shrugged.

"Pagos... interfered and I.. I've escaped."

Margaret's forehead puckered.

"I see.."

She said not very convinced by her reply.

"What were you two doing together?"

Margaret questioned, turning his gaze on Andreas.

"Just wanted to thank her for last night."

Margaret took some seconds to think then she showed a plastic smile,

"Alright, then. Rose, you can go home now, I'll take care of him."

She clapped her hands creating a portal in which she could walk through to come back in her room.

She nodded, although she wanted to stay there and made sure Andreas was fine, she walked through the portal leaving them alone.

Margaret turned around and folded her arms.

"The truth. Now."

She stated making Andreas' roll his eyes. she was like a relative to him, during the years he learned very well how to recognize when he was hiding something from her.

"Andreas."

She glaced at him noticing how he wasn't talking.

"Don't make me put Roselyn in detention for having lied to her teacher."

She unrelenting stared at him as she waited for him to finally reveal the truth.

He scoffed then he finally admitted:

"Pagos saved her. David had two dragons. If it wasn't for Pagos we would be death now."

Margaret clinched her jaw

"There's no way,"

She exclaimed in total shook.

"It's not a good sign.."

She massaged her temples.

"He picked her."

She said, shutting her eyes.

"No. He should have fought her first. The owners Pago had during the years were always the one he fo.."

Andreas stopped his saying.

"unless if the legend was real and she i.."

"There's no way."

Margaret shook her head and rested his hand on his chin looking thoughtful

"Let's fix one problem at time. How did David set free from our spell?"

"I don't know. But if he come back to Ignis and tell everyone about Pagos' taking Roselyn's side, they'll place the bounty on her in a blink of eye."

"We have to kill him before he can tell anyone about what he saw."

Margaret stated and Andreas nodded as if he was thinking the same thing.

They started to look for anything that belonged to him, so they could use it to trace his exact position. Andreas after some minutes of searching, finally found his hair hanging on a tree's branches.

They tracked him right in front of the tower of The Sensor Palace. That palace was the place were the protectors of the entire Otherworld were staying. They were the ones in charge of preventing any conflit between the realms and they had the task to get rid of any possible dangerous magician in the Otherworld just like a universal jury. So if they decided that Roselyn was dangerous they would send her to death in a second and nobody could stop their will, not even Andreas or Margaret.

Andreas stretched his fingers and David's hands tied together preventing him to open the front door.

His eyes wide opened when he saw them. But before he could scream help Margaret teleported them in the school.

"I can't believe you're protecting Angelina's daughter and would be capable of killing me to help that demoniac girl!"

He complained as he tried to get his hands free from his spell.

Andreas raised his eyebrow:

"Says the one who tried to kill me first."

Andreas walked toward him glacing.

David covered his face with his hands trying to protect himself.

"Wait,"

Margaret yelled.

"We should ask him who helped him to get free from our spell first."

David scoffed with a superior look.

"I won't tell you anything."

He stated smirking.

Margaret grabbed his wrist and checked if there was any particular mark, when she saw nothing there, she lifted her head to think. The person who got him free must be very powerful and avarage sorcener to even dissolve her mark.

Andreas's eye flashed, he probably saw the light.

"Maybe, he didn't want to kill me. He wanted to provoke Roselyn and attract Pagos!"

He said pointing a finger toward him frowning.

David scoffed:

"You always had a huge imagination, brother."

"Someone must have heard about Pagos' attack. If you're right she's in serious danger."

Margaret stated in a worried tone of voice.

Andreas glowered then begin his usual nervous walk.

"What can we do then?"

He asked, making David chuckle.

"Why are you so interested in her, are you by any chance falling for her?"

He whispered staring at him being nervous.

"Don't be silly. It's our student, it's our task to offer her protection."

Margaret interfered gesturing Andreas to chill down.

"You should commit harder in learning her how to manage her powers rather than bring her out at restaurants for dinner."

He giggled as Margaret gapped mouth stared:

"You had a date with her?"

She questioned making Andreas glare at him. He probably did it on purpose to provoke a reaction in Margaret knowing he would put him in trouble.

As brothers they've never had a good relationship. Margaret put her hand on her head like if she had too much to think about.

"If you're hanging out with her I recommend you to immediately stop, Andreas. Do you ever learn from your mistakes?"

She shake her heard furious.

"Don't involve her in any additional problem more than she already is, for God's sake!"

Andreas lowered his gaze, he knew well she was right and didn't have to start anything with Roselyn.

He had to stop dating her, or stop whatever they were doing, he couldn't risk too much.

He nodded to Margaret. It was the right thing to do.
