Amidst the joy and happiness that Cerene felt, like with everyone and everything there would always be that little devil following the best moments, trying to turn them into the worst ones. It, is the name that we will give it until it decides to reveal itself. Dinner turned out amazingly the previous night. Cerene did an amazing job. As time passed, the girls became comfortable sleeping in seperate rooms. Zyn and Vay awoke the girls to a beautiful sunrise. The sun was shining into their room highlighting all of the colors. Vay to Cerene, and Zyn to Sharrie.
"Good morning, Cerene." A gentle but deep voice greeted Cerene.
"Morning" Cerene said groggily. She sat up for a moment looking at the tall stoic man.
"I."
Was all she said before she face planted into the bed in front of her.
"Oh." He chuckled. "She face plants like her mother" Vay let out a light laugh as he opened up her curtains. It took several attempts, but he finally got her up. He watched as Cerene's head bobbed around like a bobble head. She almost looked like one of those trolls. He couldn't help but laugh to himself at the thought. Vay left out of the room heading down the spiral staircase, into the lower hallway and into the kitchen. He grabbed his breakfast and left back out of the kitchen. He went through the lower hallway and out the door, closing it behind him. He headed towards the garden. Vay'Len opened the biodome up and went inside.
"Fang." He called out into the greenhouse.
Fang was Vay'Len's Albino pet. The only pet he had. Actually, if we're being honest, Fang was the only pet he ever had. Fang had been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. He was family.
Out of the darkness, a small head popped out of a lush odd looking bush.
"Would you like to share some of my breakfast together?" Vay' Len asked leaning his plate down for Fang to see what he had.
"Fang began to crawl out. A long and fairly huge snakes body followed the small in comparrison head. Fang was a rare Albino green anaconda. Fang slithered to his master and looked up at him. His eyes were as red as rubies, and as reflective as diamonds. Fang was truly a remarkable snake. Vay shared his breakfast with his now satisfied friend.
Meanwhile... Zyn wasn't exactly having an easy time getting Sharrie up. That is why she opted for Sharrie, to avoid Cerene issues, or rather, as Vay called it. Zyn's karma. Zyn was a horrible sleeper and she swore that her daughter would be just like her. But here she was stuck with her own sleeping habits when Sharrie wasn't even her real daughter. Karma had definetly came back around for Zyn and she hated it. Zyn tried everything to wake Sharrie up. Except cheating.. Well, Sharrie was asleep, and no one else was around. Why not? She thought to herself. She held her finger out, and with a gently wave of it she invaded Sharrie's dreams. Soon after Sharrie groggily sat up wishing her mother a good morning.
"Morning. I feel like I didn't sleep." Sharrie said Yawning.
Zyneil turned around and looked at her daughter with an irritated look. "Really? That's odd." She says laughing. Zyneil had to laugh. There was no way that she didn't get a good night's sleep. It was like raising the dead just to get her eyes open.
"Breakfast is in the kitchen already made. I believe Cerene is already downstairs waiting for us."
Zyneil turned and walked out of the room and made her way to the kitchen. Shortly after everyone gathered and began to eat. One done, Cerene and Sharrie helped to clean up, then went upstairs to take showers in their own respective showers. It was a different experience living in a place like this, they were in heaven. Once they were done their showers they got dressed and went downstairs. They wandered around looking for their parents who were in the family room. They finally found them after calling out for them. They followed their parents responses into a giantic room that was slightly empty. There was furniture, a television, a few plants and 2 mirrors.
"You made it!" Zyn happily stated.
"Yeah, what's going on." The girls responded.
"Well, lovelies... We need to do your hair. I noticed that it has began to tangle. I also want to teach you proper hair care as well! Two birds, one stone."
The girls sat down and Zyn and Vay began to comb through their hair and braid it up. This took a few hours but it was worth it. They looked beautiful. The day went by without any hiccups. The girls had lunch, they spent time with their parents they had dinner, washed up and got ready for bed. Their first day of school was approaching. Both girls were impressed with their parents work. At the orphanage, they weren't allowed to wear flashy hairstyles. It was different, it was unique, they loved them. The girls tied their hair like their parents showed them and they got in bed. Neither one could sleep. They ended up both going to Sharrie's room.
"What do you want to do?"
"Not sure Sharr. I'm kinda thirsty though " Cerene laid back on Sharrie's bed looking up at the ceiling. "Wanna get something to drink?"
"Yeah, let's go."
Sharrie and Cerene hop up and head out of the bedroom. They head out to the hallway, tip toeing every step of the way. They weren't going to get in trouble, but they knew how the Mother Superior was back at the orphanage. Better safe than sorry as they say. Couldn't risk messing up now, could they? They continued to make their way down to the kitchen. One stood on the look out, the other got the goods.. er water. Cerene fiddled around in the kitchen, grabbing to cups, and slowly cutting the sink on to fill them with water. She cut the sink off and headed out, handing Sharrie her cup on the way. They began to head back to the long spiral staircase. With Sharrie leading the way.
"Why aren't we there yet?" Cerene whispered in Sharrie's ear.
"I'm not sure. Did it always take this long?"
The girls continued to walk until they came across a door.
"Rene."
"Sharr."
"There wasn't a door here before, was there?"
"No, Sharr.. there wasn't."
"Count of 3, Rene?"
"Count of 3."
"1." Sharrinelle said, placing her hand on the door.
"2." Cerene said, placing her hand on Sharries'.
"3" They said in unison opening the door.
The room was dimly lit. It was from what they couldl tell, beautiful. They walked in, closing the door behind them. They continued forward finding that the once hard floor turned soft and into grass. They could see
large trees with large fruit hanging from it. It looked a miniature garden. The girls continued to explore around. Being careful not to touch anything.
"What is this place?" They asked in unison.
They got to what seemed like a giant cage.
"What the he-?"
Cerene was interupted by the sound of a growl.
The girls turned around to see a giant bunny rabbit, standing behind them staring them in the eyes. It showed its teeth, baring it's fangs at Cerene and Sharrie. It's cute nose began to sniff them starting with Cerene. They were too paralyzed with fear to move. After sniffing her, it gave Cerene a big lick. It turnd to Sharrie and began growling again. It went to attack her. There IT was again. Just as Sharrie was standing there, about to get eaten... IT came.
