The next morning, Cerene and Sharrie woke up extra early when they thought no one else was awake. Early bird gets the worm as Mother Superior would always say. They arose, not even bothering to shower or waste time with hygeine. They were on a mission and they had to be quick. They began to make quiet beats as if they were making their own action music. All of the best movies had it! Destroyer, Stalker Vs Something From Space, Take Me, Or Not 1, 2 and 3! They knew they had to make one.
"Doo doo doo, da doo doo." Sharrie started
"brrp bsts cht" Cerene chimed in.
The two of them looked in the mirror as they dipped a colored pencil in water and began to draw lines on their faces. They continued their sounds to hype one another up. They found scarves and wrapped them around their heads. They took one last look in the mirror, they were ready. They turned to walk out of the bathroom door and crashed into one another. They had forgotten that they needed to see. They regrouped, fixed their masks and snuck out of Sharrie's room. They quietly walked down the hall. As soon as their feet hit the steps, Zyn's voice was heard, calling the girls in her room for yoga. They were found out. Maybe they could get out of it?
"Yes, Ma'am?" The girls said unison as they walked into their parents room. They saw their mother strectehed out on a mat. There was music playing, and the scent of lavender vanilla candles filled the room.
The girls noticed that there were 2 extra mats next to their mother. She had obviously prepared for them. Maybe it was just coincidence? Maybe she was on to their plans. Whatever the case may be, Cerene and Sharrie knew that they had to seem as less suspicious as possible.
"Come, join me for a morning stretch my darlings! You look as if you are all ready to workout" Zyn says as she goes into an upward dog position. She recites her mantra as she continues to feel one with the universe.
The pair of friends walked over to their respective mats, and mimiced the position that their mother was in. They were chanting, stretching, and flexing for 2 hours. It was almost as if time was going faster than usual. Once the yoga was done, the trio cleaned up.
"That was so much fun!" Zyn said. As she blew out the candles. "I'm going to go and read a book in my study, would the two of you like to join me?"
"I would lov-" Sharrie was interupted by Cerene gently hitting her arm.
"Stay focused." Cerene whispered to Sharrie.
Sharrie nodded. "No thank you, we appreciate it though."
"Enjoy your book." The girls said as they walked out of Zyn's room. Slight hiccup, but they were back on track. They continued their sneaking down the spiral steps, past the kitchen, and down the corridor to the left of one of the bathrooms. They saw a blue decorated door, laced with gold trim. Cerene placed her hand on the handle and then another familiar voice called out. It was their father. Vay had just come from his study and noticed the girls. Of course he had to redirect them for his own fun.
"My wonderful, beautiful, daughters." His deep voice slightly echoed.
"Hello, Sir." The girls replied in unison.
"I haven't spent much time with the two of you. Would you like to help me with a project?" His somehow cold voice hinted with a bit a warmth.
"Oh um, sure." Cerene said as Sharrie nodded.
Vay walked over to the blue door and placed his hands on the door knob. " Welcome to my studio." He walked in and opened his arms. "Make yourselves at home, and have a seat." His voice was as calm as standing water, deep and sultry, and as soothing as a lullaby. Not that Cerene and Sharrie would know what a sultry voice was. An odd combination most definetly, but a nice one. His voice invoked a sense of soothing effect.
Sharrie and Cerene both found a chair in the middle and sat down.
"Strike a pose, if you will." He said as he rumaged through his art supplies. Sculpting and painting were a closet hobby of his. He was always a more closed in kind of person and rarely shared himself with others. So far, the only people who knew about his hobby was Zyneil, and now his daughters. He wasn't smiling, but he was happy. He felt like he had opened up to the most important people in his life. Even if it was just to make exploring harder for the girls. Once the girls made a pose, he figured that the perfect way to rememeber this day, was a sculpture! He wanted to sculpt his girls, smiling, excited and confused. He began to pull out his clay work, his cement, and all of his sculpting tools. He started from their feet and worked his way up. The sculpture ended up taking a few hours, especially since he gave them a stretch break every now and again. When he finished, the sculpture looked excatly like them. It was beautiful. Vay had let them know that they could get up. He covered the sculpture with a sheet.
"I will show it at dinner." He says before opening the door for the girls.
"Thank you." The girls said as they left out.
"What were we doing again?" Sharrie asked.
"We were supposed to be finding something... I can't remeber what though. Let's keep looking." Cerene stated.
The girls walked out of the room and continued to the right. They thought they were heading back the way that they had come from, but they went in the opposite direction. They went down a few hallways and ended up seperating. Everything looked different, they went through different doors calling out to one another and looking for an exit, but they never found it. After some time, they found themselves in their rooms. Laying down, full, and dressed for bed.
"What the..." Cerene and Sharrie hopped up.
They got out of bed, ran into the hallway and saw one another.
"What happened?" They said in unison. "How did we get here?" "If we keep talking at the same time, we won't get an answer." All said in unison. Cerene motioned for Sharrie to go first.
"Rene, what is going on!?" She whispered. Her voice reflecting how frightened she was.
"I dunno Shar. One minute we were together, we got seperated, and now were back here. What do you remember?"
"The same thing as you." Sharrie replied.
The pair looked at one another searching for answers as to what took place. It was clear that whatever happened, wasn't normal or real. Maybe it was all a dream? Either way. The girls couldn't do much outside of head to bed. They were exhausted as if they had spent an entire day doing a lot of activities. They went into their rooms, laid down, and they were fast asleep.
